An’an’s face flushed red, happiness visible all over her face, definitely because of Lu Yan’s love and doting. “Please let me off, stop teasing me about it.”

“The results are out. General Lu is ranked first, President Gu is ranked second and Young Master Fu is ranked last!” Tang Mo’er pounded the table once more and announced.

She had to admit Young Master Fu wasn’t as good as the other two men.

An’an was suddenly reminded of something. She tugged on Lin s.h.i.+yu’s sleeve. “Sister s.h.i.+yu, I remember seeing this couple who couldn’t conceive for a really long time. “Ah Yan, I wanted to let you know that I won’t be coming back tonight. I’ll be staying with little sister-in-law tonight.” An’an’s voice was sweet and gentle.

Right after she said that, she heard his breathing get heavier, but he kept silent.

An’an’s heart thumped. “Ah Yan…”

A bulletproof Jeep appeared, stopping in front of them and the door opened. Lu Yan alighted from the Jeep.

He had rushed over from the army base, still dressed in his uniform. The Jeep had a cool car plate and his shoulders adorned with gold epaulets. He radiated a dignified and strong aura.

One look and one could tell he wouldn’t be easily provoked.

Lu Yan held a camouflage print coat in his hand. Walking over with steady footsteps, he arrived in front of An’an and draped the coat over her body, making sure her entire body was covered and only her face was outside.

After he was done, Lu Yan picked up An’an’s hand so naturally and glanced at Tang Mo’er, his voice low as he said, “It’s getting late, I’m taking An’an home now.”

With that, Lu Yan held An’an’s hand and got in the Jeep.
