Lu Yan held on to An’an’s slender arm, pulling her away from his body. He gave her a baleful stare. “Take back your words. Tell me that you’re not planning to commit suicide.”

“I’m not… ah!”

An’an cried out, he had pinched her arm forcefully and it hurt her. It truly was painful.

He had merely exerted half of his strength and it was already hurting her so much, she was at the brink of having a broken arm.

The exposed area was completely red and blotchy, it even started to turn greenish.

Lu Yan’s face turned virulent, he pinned An’an with a deadly stare and hardened his resolve. “An’an, listen closely. I don’t have any feelings for you at all. It’s just that you’re always throwing yourself at me and that’s why I took the chance to do it with you just now. You deserve all of this, I don’t have anything to do with it. Who asked you to seduce men at such a young age? And also, if you want to die, please scram further away, it’s none of my business whether you choose to live on or not. I’ve raised you for the past 13 years and now you’re trying to push the responsibility on me?”

After hearing his words, An’an’s nerves jangled and panic overwhelmed her mind and she reeled back, as though she had been slapped. She looked at him with pure disbelief.

What was he saying?

He claimed that he had no feelings for her and even wanted her to scram further away to take her own life.

She was struck dumb, frozen on the spot. On the other hand, Lu Yan’s felt something tight in his chest, it was suffocating, threatening to take his life away.

That stifling feeling in his chest was hurting him.

It hurt.

He was already immune to feeling pain after all these years. He had entered the underworld barehanded and when he first started out, he was hurt multiple times over. It had hurt back then but as the frequency of getting injured increased, until it no longer felt painful.

But now the feeling of pain was so clear to him, it was… unbearable.

But he needed to pull through and tolerate it.

He had to leave her behind this time.

Bam bam! Someone was still knocking on the door relentlessly. “Master Yan, Master Yan, do you hear me?”

Lu Yan glanced over at the closed door, he got up and grabbed An’an by her arm. He pulled her up from the sofa forcefully.

They were headed towards the walk-in wardrobe.

An’an followed him like a robot without emotions. He took big steps and she stumbled after him. It hurt so much down there, as though it was she had split open down there.

She wasn’t telling lies, he had really hurt her and it was extremely painful for her.

Lu Yan kicked open the door to the walk-in wardrobe and threw her inside, showing her no concern.

An’an fell right on the ground, since it was lined with custom-made wool carpeting, it was soft and she didn’t feel any pain despite falling hard.

She wanted to get up but even after gathering all her energy, she failed to do so. She continued struggling on the carpeted ground and she climbed over, trying to hold on to his leg. “Lu Yan, what are you planning to do, why did you throw me here?”

She had an ominous feeling in her heart, it wasn’t a good sign.

Lu Yan took two steps back so that she wouldn’t be able to hold his leg. He looked down at the girl beside his legs, she was feeble and couldn’t seem to struggle further. He instructed her with a stern tone, “Listen to me, you’re going to stay here.”

Listen to me?

An’an’s face was covered with tears, she was at a loss of what to do. She could only look in his eyes and asked, “Li… Listen to what?”

Lu Yan smirked. “Since I can sleep with you, that means that I’m able to sleep with other women too.”

An’an gawked at him, she took a few seconds to realize what he had meant. She made a futile attempt to loop her arms around him. “No!”

Bam! Lu Yan closed the door swiftly without hesitation.

w.a.n.g Yingying continued knocking on the door with no intention to stop. The room door was opened out of the blue and Lu Yan appeared in front of her.

Lu Yan had already taken off the towel around his trim waist. He had put on some black, silky pajamas and stood by the door. He looked at w.a.n.g Yingying expressionlessly before saying, “Come in.”

w.a.n.g Yingying entered the room and scanned the surroundings. There wasn’t anyone else in the room, let alone a woman. “Master Yan, the distinguished guests are waiting downstairs for the commencement of our engagement banquet. Why did you suddenly head upstairs to take a shower? Moreover, I’ve been knocking on the door for the longest time ever and you didn’t even bother to give me a response. What were you doing in the room?”

She didn’t receive any response from Lu Yan, he just couldn’t bother with her.

w.a.n.g Yingying turned back, only to witness Lu Yan having a cigarette in his mouth and preparing to light it up with his lighter.

“Master Yan, you’re not allowed to smoke.” w.a.n.g Yingying s.n.a.t.c.hed away the lighter in his hands.

Lu Yan lifted his thick, luscious eyelashes and glared at her with displeasure. “You’re asking for me to teach you a lesson?”

“Master Yan, I’m trying to hold a conversation with you.”

Lu Yan moved over to hold on to her tiny wrist and with a light cast, w.a.n.g Yingying ended up with her back on her wall.

Her vision turned dark, he had stepped closer and cast a shadow over her.

w.a.n.g Yingying’s heart started racing, he managed to subdue her with his masculine charms. She couldn’t take her eyes off his drop-dead good looks and came up on her tiptoes, attempting to give him a kiss.

Tsk…

Lu Yan clicked his tongue, avoiding her kiss. He seemed rather displeased by her move.

Placing his palm on her forehead, he pushed her back onto the wall so that she would keep a distance away from him.

She didn’t manage to kiss him and was even pushed away, w.a.n.g Yingying felt her desires and excitement diminis.h.i.+ng greatly. She sent him an anguished glance, feeling hurt inside. “Master Yan, how could you do this? Don’t forget that I’m your fiancée.”

Lu Yan didn’t answer her, all he did was to glance at her with no intention to appease her. All he did was ask simply, “Do you know how to moan?”

w.a.n.g Yingying was flabbergasted, she didn’t understand what he meant and she questioned him, “What?”

Lu Yan gave a dry chuckle, then his palm slid down and he gave her a strong smack on her perky b.u.m. He behaved just like a thug.

w.a.n.g Yingying almost burst into tears because of his forceful smack, she instinctively screamed out loud, “Ah!”

In the walk-in wardrobe.

w.a.n.g Yingying’s scream was heard by An’an, though it wasn’t that loud by the time it reached her. An’an bit down on her lower lips, banging on the door frantically. “Lu Yan, let me out! Don’t, don’t do it!”

He had locked her in the walk-in wardrobe, with the purpose of having her listen to him having s.e.x with other women.

He was so cruel.

An’an felt her heart throbbing in pain, as though her heart was going to split into two halves. She banged on the door as though she had lost her mind, her tiny hands were all red and swollen but she refused to stop. The moaning had continued and blackness stained her insides.

She muttered “please don’t” continually, her trembling legs refused to take her weight. She fell on the carpeted ground and she huddled up in a corner, suffering alone.

If he didn’t manage to dash her hopes the other time when she chased after his car, he was certainly successful this time round. This was what it took for her to get over him.

No matter how hard she tried, he wasn’t willing to keep her by his side.

He would push her even further the harder she tried to get closer to him.

An’an huddled up in a corner, her hands covering her ears. She wasn’t willing to listen to w.a.n.g Yingying’s moaning. Every second of it was torturing her inside, she couldn’t bear it.

She was in anguish.

“Tak”, the door to the walk-in wardrobe was unlocked from outside. A beam of light entered the room and Lu Yan stood tall beside the door. He gaze was on the huddled up An’an.

An’an moved, she supported herself against the wall and managed to stand up. There were no longer any tears left behind on her face, it had all dried up. When he glanced at her, she had lost the focus in her beautiful eyes.
