An’an’s supported herself against the wall and she walked out of the walk-in wardrobe slowly.

In the room, w.a.n.g Yingying was tidying up her clothes when she heard some footsteps. She turned her head around and spotted An’an.

An’an’s alluring face was all pale, she seemed low-spirited and didn’t bother to check anyone out. She opened the room door and left.

She had left.

Slap! The crisp sound of a slap resounded in the entire room. Lu Yan was slapped hard.

“Lu Yan, our engagement banquet is called off. You and An’an are both sick in the mind!” w.a.n.g Yingying screamed furiously before storming out of the room.

w.a.n.g Yingying was the daughter of a wealthy family and had received elite education since young. Lu Yan had asked for her to moan loudly just now and not do anything else. Her only task would be to moan.

An’an had gone back downstairs and found Tang Mo’er, speaking softly, “Little sister-in-law.”

Tang Mo’er turned around, noticing An’an’s pale face and downcast demeanor, she was a little confused. She didn’t know who An’an was, but she felt a dull ache in her chest. On instinct, she was concerned about An’an and went into a state of panic. “What happened?”

An’an’s legs weakened and she slid downwards.

Tang Mo’er rapidly stretched out her arms, getting hold of An’an’s frail body. “What exactly happened… to…”

Tang Mo’er gaped at An’an in silence. That was because she had noticed the love bites peeking through An’an’s low-cut evening dress.

Tang Mo’er contemplated for a moment before she nodded her head in agreement. “Alright, let’s go home right now!”

But a huge palm extended over, lifting An’an up before she could even realize it.

Tang Mo’er’s eyes brightened with interest, she had found her pillar of strength. “Mr Gu, you’re here.”

Gu Mohan took a glance towards An’an, pursing his lips and he put up a stern front. “An’an, are you done throwing a tantrum? Why do you drive yourself into a corner to the point you have to give up after hurting yourself all over?”

An’an evaded Gu Mohan’s berating stare, tears started to well up in her eyes.

Tang Mo’er had noticed the unusual atmosphere and she promptly tugged on Gu Mohan’s sleeve, pouting her cherry red lips.

She didn’t want him to reprimand An’an.

Tang Mo’er’s kittenish and coy ways had worked well, Gu Mohan was evidently loosening up. “That’s enough said, let’s head home.”

A built figure appeared in his peripheral vision, it was Lu Yan coming down from the stairs.

Lu Yan had changed into a clean black s.h.i.+rt paired with trousers. He glanced at Gu Mohan before his eyes were riveted on An’an.

Gu Mohan narrowed his eyes, he brought An’an and Tang Mo’er away.

“Mr Gu, are we heading home now?”

“No, we’re going somewhere else first.”

“Where?”

“You’ll know once we arrive.”

Lu Yan walked down the stairs and he issued instructions to his underlings. The engagement banquet was to be called off.

A conversation which took place between two men resounded in his ears—-

“I’ll tell you a secret, I saw Miss An’an walking down the stairs with a weird posture.”

“What do you mean by weird posture?”

“It seemed like… her virginity was taken away…”

“How could that be? Miss An’an doesn’t seem to have a boyfriend yet. Moreover, Master Yan and President Gu are behind her back and they would protect her at all costs. How could any man even get close to her?”

“Lemme tell you something, Master Yan actually went upstairs earlier on.”

“You’re claiming that Master Yan was the one who took away Miss An’an’s…”

The two men ended their conversation abruptly after feeling a noxious stare coming from behind. They turned their head around and noticed Lu Yan standing right behind them.

“Master Yan, I’m sorry, take it that we didn’t say anything…” The two men scurried away like frightened rabbits.

Lu Yan watched as the two men swiftly left the scene. With one hand in his trouser pocket while the other was holding a gla.s.s of wine, he took a sip and though the robust flavor of the wine had exploded on his palate, it still wasn’t enough to conceal the wonderful taste An’an left behind in his mouth.

Although he hadn’t been in his right mind earlier, those ten minutes were unbearable. He couldn’t help but recall those moments in his mind once again.

His mind was filled with the scene as long as he closed his eyes. It was so vivid and his heart was drumming loudly, feeling a burning sensation all over him.

He was capable of handling even aphrodisiacal substances and yet in An’an’s presence, he wasn’t able to resist the temptation.

At the airport.

Lu Qi’er was seated in the airport lounge, she was waiting for Lu Jinwen’s arrival. The private jet was ready for departure and once her Daddy arrived, she would be able to return to the Capital.

Lu Jinwen wore a black coat with a monochrome suit inside. His trousers were clean-cut and he walked over, his glistening leather shoes were on the marble ground and the sound of his footsteps was rhythmic.

Butler Ye had tagged along behind him, carrying Lu Jinwen’s belongings.

Lu Qi’er fixed her gaze on Lu Jinwen. Though her Daddy was already 50 years old, he didn’t seem to have any traces of age on his face. It was clear he had been a hunk in his 30s and his almond-shaped eyes radiated undertones of something more sinister. Now that he had aged, he was like a fine wine, he had a greater aura compared to before and he was extremely charismatic.

The famed Young Master Lu from the Capital was undiminished.

“Daddy, you’re finally here, let’s board the plane.” Lu Qi’er smiled brightly as she walked over.
