The corners of Jun Chulin’s were curved up, he continued probing, “Mo’er, so what are your plans for the future then?”

“s.h.i.+yu is going to release a new single, and she asked for me to play as the female lead for her new music video.” Tang Mo’er arched her brows at Lin s.h.i.+yu playfully.

Lin s.h.i.+yu’s popularity had surged and she didn’t have much free time outside of her busy work schedule. It was only after Tang Mo’er agreed to play the female lead in her music video that she agreed to accompany her to the hot springs today.

Lin s.h.i.+yu took a glance at Gu Mohan before she said, “Mo’er, the male lead hasn’t been casted yet. What do you think, which little fresh piece of meat have you laid your eyes one? Maybe we can kill two birds with one stone.”

“Little fresh piece of meat…”

“That’s right, you must pick a little fresh meat. Mo’er, you’re only 21 years old this year, only little fresh meat with the body and looks would be compatible with you. Those 30 year old uncles are too old to even be considered by you, it’s totally robbing the cradle,” Lin s.h.i.+yu said.

Jun Chulin and Huo Beichen were only 24 and 25 years old and he was already 30 years old. In a few months, he would turn 31.

He and Tang Mo’er were almost 10 years apart in age, Lin s.h.i.+yu was obviously referring to him when she talked about someone robbing the cradle.

Tang Mo’er quickly tugged on Lin s.h.i.+yu’s sleeves, signaling for her to stop.

Lin s.h.i.+yu held onto her cold hands instead, laughing it off and continued speaking, “Mo’er, we’ll have to take some time to pick the best out of the crowd of little fresh meats. You’re going to have a kiss scene with the male lead in this music video, I wonder who’s going to end up taking away your first kiss on screen!”

An’an took a secret glance at her brother and sighed. Oh no, her brother was done for. Everyone was on her little sister-in-law’s side and nearly everyone was shooting arrows at her brother.

But she wouldn’t stand on her brother’s side this time, since he seriously went overboard and was so mean towards little sister-in-law.

He deserved every bit of this treatment.

Little sister-in-law was going to be s.n.a.t.c.hed away by other men, and it was all because of him.

The elevator doors opened and everyone stepped out, with the exception of Gu Mohan. He stood inside the elevator and didn’t move an inch.

Jun Xiyan looked at him and called him, “Mohan…”

Gu Mohan pursed his lips into a firm line, he retracted his arm from Jun Xiyan’s arm and stormed towards his room.

Along the corridor.

Gu Mohan paused his footsteps. Was that Tang Mo’er and Lin s.h.i.+yu’s voices?

“s.h.i.+yu, why did you say such things in the elevator?”

“Mo’er, don’t tell me you are still defending Gu Mohan at this point?”

“No… he’s no longer my Mr Gu…”

“Then it’s fine! I was merely helping you take revenge. You’re too much of a pushover, so much so that you didn’t even retaliate even after being bullied by Gu Mohan. Mo’er, please open your eyes wide, there are many eligible men out there for your picking. From what I see, Jun Chulin seems not bad…”

Their voices had gotten softer as they walked away.

Everyone had returned to their respective rooms for a quick rest before they headed out again. Only An’an had chosen to stay in her room as she didn’t want to head outside.

Tang Mo’er and Lin s.h.i.+yu had arrived in the swimwear store in the clubhouse and they started picking out their bathing suits. But they were too late, the bathing suits were almost sold out and there were only a few pieces left behind in the store.

Tang Mo’er picked out one of the remaining ones, pointing at it with her finger. “Can I have that piece please.”

“I want that one.” Jun Xiyan’s voice sounded at the exact moment.

Tang Mo’er glanced over, she had picked out the same bathing suit as Jun Xiyan.

The salesperson was caught in the middle. “Ladies, I am sorry, we only have one last one for this. Who is going to purchase this bathing suit? There is only one other bathing suit available in our store right now.”

The salesperson pointed at the leftover bathing suit hanging on the shelf. It was bright yellow and very skimpy with thin straps.

It wasn’t an easy one to pull off and hence it wasn’t off the shelf yet.

Tang Mo’er and Jun Xiyan had picked out the same bathing suit, it was just an ordinary green-colored bathing suit.

Tang Mo’er glanced at Jun Xiyan and Jun Xiyan reciprocated, who was going to take the bathing suit?

An imposing figure appeared, it was Gu Mohan.

“Mohan,” Jun Xiyan speedily held Gu Mohan’s arm. “We’re caught in a difficult situation right now. Miss Tang and I have picked out the same bathing suit and there’s only one other bathing suit available in the store. Who do you think should take it?”

Gu Mohan caught a glimpse of the green bathing suit before his gaze landed on the bright yellow bathing suit.

He then heard a tender voice. “Miss Jun, you can have the green one, I’ll take the bright yellow one instead,” Tang Mo’er said graciously.

Gu Mohan stared stonily at Tang Mo’er.

Lin s.h.i.+yu then walked over. “Mo’er, you have to give it some thought, if you appear in this bright yellow bathing suit… you’re going to invite a lot of lecherous men.”

Tang Mo’er held the bright yellow bathing suit in her hands, winking at Lin s.h.i.+yu. “It’s fine, lecherous men appear around me on a daily basis, it isn’t only when I wear such bathing suits. I’ll be careful and cover myself up well later.”

Lin s.h.i.+yu nodded and didn’t object further since it was only Tang Mo’er who could pull off the bright yellow bathing suit.

Jun Xiyan wouldn’t be able to pull it off at all.

“Miss Tang, thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” Tang Mo’er carried the paper bag and left together with Lin s.h.i.+yu.

Tang Mo’er walked past Gu Mohan when she was leaving the store and he could smell the fragrance emanating from her hair. But she didn’t bother to look at him, not even for a second.

Gu Mohan, I’ll never pester you again.

She kept true to her promise.

At the hot spring.

The hot springs were natural and s.p.a.cious. They were perfectly segregated and emitted steam upwards, like a mystical paradise.

Gu Mohan stood with Huo Beichen while giving Jun Xiling a glance. “Beichen, it’s obvious that the second daughter of the Jun family is infatuated with you. Do you like her?”

“Second Brother, please don’t talk about her. She’s been pestering me nonstop and I really can’t take it anymore. It’s so annoying.” Huo Beichen was clearly irritated and seemed to be at wit’s end.

Gu Mohan looked at Huo Beichen and said, “You’re already 25 this year, you shouldn’t change your partners as frequently as you would change your clothing. If you don’t like the second daughter of the Jun family, who do you like then?”

Huo Beichen was Karghalik’s infamous tyrant, he had changed girlfriends over and over again, with each not lasting even a year.

Gu Mohan and Huo Beichen lifted their eyes at the same time, noticing that Tang Mo’er and Lin s.h.i.+yu had arrived.

Tang Mo’er took the center stage, wearing the bright yellow bathing suit and it complemented her fair, delicate skin. Her beauty was simply captivating and it took their breath away.
