Tang Chenyi had returned to pick Tang Mo’er up.

Tang Mo’er’s eyes lit up, her younger brother was finally speaking, that was great.

“Chenyi, where’s Mom?”

“Mom is waiting for you,” Tang Chenyi answered shortly.

Something twisted in her heart, and Tang Mo’er felt her eyes sting. She hadn’t had a mother all these years. If anything, she yearned for her mother’s love the most.

“Sister, let’s go, if you drag things any longer, Lu Jinwen is going to find us.” Tang Chenyi tried to pull Tang Mo’er into the car.

Tang Mo’er stopped moving. “Chenyi, I can’t leave right now. Little Niuniu is still in the villa.”

“I’ve already instructed someone to pick Niuniu up.”

Tang Mo’er’s lashes fluttered.

“Sister, once we pick little Niuniu up, let’s leave this place together.”

With her heart thumping wildly,Tang Mo’er suddenly felt out of sorts. She wasn’t mentally prepared for it at all.

She didn’t have a home here. Although Lu Jinwen was her biological father, she was better off without one. He didn’t make any difference in her life.

Chenyi was right. Her best choice would be to bring little Niuniu away from this place, to have a fresh start with her mother and Chenyi.

Tang Chenyi had spotted Tang Mo’er’s hesitant gaze. “Sister, you still can’t let go of Gu Mohan?”

“I…”

Tang Mo’er wanted to speak but her ringtone suddenly sounded. She had an incoming phone call.

Whipping out her cell phone, it was from Gu Mohan.

She picked up the call. “h.e.l.lo.”

The other end was totally silent, and two seconds later, a deep and magnetic voice was heard. “You don’t need to bother anymore, you won’t be able to take Niuniu away.”

Tang Mo’er’s heart sunk. It turned out Gu Mohan had already found out about their plans.

She felt her throat getting sore, she wanted to say something but she just wasn’t able to say a single word.

“Mo’er, are you leaving?” he asked.

Tang Mo’er lowered her eyes and looked at her own feet. “Mm.”

“I’m going to stand by my words, once you leave, you’ll lose everything. You’ll lose me, you’ll lose Niuniu. Everything.”

“Gu Mohan, Niuniu is mine…”

“Niuniu is also mine, Mo’er, listen to me. I didn’t register my marriage with Jun Xiyan, your name is the one on the marriage certificate. You are my Mrs Gu!”

Hearing his words, Tang Mo’er gasped, frozen on the spot. What? He had registered his marriage with her?

“What about you?”

“Chenyi, I’m sorry, I can’t leave. I can’t live without Niuniu.”

“Sister, you still can’t bear to leave that man, Gu Mohan!”

Tang Mo’er bit down on her lower lip before she closed the door. Mm, perhaps it was true that she still couldn’t bear to leave that man, Gu Mohan.

She couldn’t leave this place, it was her home. Wherever Gu Mohan was would be her home forever.

Tang Mo’er turned around, running in the opposite direction.

But there was a beam of white lights, a black minivan had appeared and knocked Tang Mo’er down.

The minivan just hit into her and drove off, when it was making a turn, a luxury car pa.s.sed it.

The driver of the black minivan looked out of the windows and glanced at the luxury car. A man dressed in black was seated in the back seat, his long legs were crossed and his chiseled features were hidden in the darkness, he was just like the king of the underworld, exuding a menacing, cold aura.

Lu Jinwen.

The driver whipped out his cell phone, dialing a phone number. “h.e.l.lo, Old Master, the job’s done.”

In the villa.

Gu Mohan sat on the couch in the living room, he was smoking a cigarette. As he held the lighted cigarette between his fingers, his brows knitted as he puffed on it.

Wah wah wah.

Little Niuniu’s wailing reverberated throughout the entire villa.

The confinement nanny held Niuniu in her arms while she coaxed him, but little Niuniu was already crying so badly he wouldn’t stop, his throat was already sore.

The confinement nanny couldn’t help but to look at the man sitting on the couch smoking. “Sir, where did Madam go? Little Niuniu is hungry and he misses his mama, look at how badly he is crying.”

Gu Mohan puffed on the cigarette, his handsome face sunk while the smoke surrounded him.

Ding, he had a notification. It was a text message.

It was just three words, she has left.

Gu Mohan lowered his eyes and looked at the text repeatedly, the cigarette in his hand was continuing to burn and it soon scalded his fingertips.

But he couldn’t seem to feel the pain.

Little Niuniu started to cry louder, the confinement nanny started asking Gu Mohan again, “Sir, please have some people go out and search for Madam, little Niuniu really misses his mama, I can’t even coax him to stop him from crying.”

Gu Mohan slowly got a grip over himself while Niuniu was still crying. He stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray and got up, walking in front of the confinement nanny and he wanted to carry Niuniu in his arms.

Once Niuniu was pa.s.sed over into his arms, it was as though they had telepathy, Niuniu instantly stopped crying and looked at his Daddy with l.u.s.trous eyes. He was still sniffling and appeared to be pitiful.

Where’s mama?

Gu Mohan lifted the yellow blankie and little Niuniu’s skin was as fair as tofu. His lips were red and pouty, he looked in little Niuniu’s eyes, it was exactly the same as his mama’s.

They were l.u.s.trous and extremely attractive.

Gu Mohan raised a corner of his lips, his voice was hoa.r.s.e and he laughed at himself. “Son, your mama has abandoned us.”

Wah, little Niuniu started to let out a wail again.

The confinement nanny took Niuniu from Gu Mohan. He felt that everything was going downhill, his life was over.
