“How are they minor injuries?” Bai Xiaonian’s scalp turned numb as she looked at the injuries on Lu Jinnan’s face. Flames of fury shot up in her, and her pair of beautiful eyes glared toward Jacksel, who was standing behind Lu Jinnan.

Jacksel felt a strange chill, not knowing what he should say. He could only rub his nose and say, “It was an accident…”

Bai Xiaonian grabbed onto Lu Jinnan’s wrist, pulling him behind her, then looked straight at Jacksel. She couldn’t control her fury, and her voice got increasingly louder. “Sir, you should know that I’m a reporter, right? “Old Fu isn’t an outsider… It’s fine for him to see it!” Lu Jinnan took Bai Xiaonian’s hand, and while she was struggling, he frowned. It seemed that his wounds had been tugged at, and he drew in a sharp breath.

Bai Xiaonian was still struggling to break free when she saw Lu Jinnan frowning, seeming to be in a lot of pain. She hesitated for a moment and, unable to bear seeing him in pain, allowed him to hold onto her hand.
