Tuan Tuan looked down at the calendar in his hands and s.h.i.+fted his finger. He wanted to say the next day, but when he thought about having to go to kindergarten he looked up and asked Fu Huai’an whether he could go as well.

She stood by and watched him squat into the tub and wash his pale, tender arms.

Lin Nuan didn’t have to worry about Tuan Tuan since he was so well-behaved. He could shower on his own and was more independent than the children of his age.
