Gu Qingcheng looked at her lovingly before he turned and used the tongs to place four cubes of sugar into the cup. “Go drink it outside!”

Not wanting to disturb Gu Qingcheng and Yun Liuli, Lin Nuan held her cup of coffee and said that she would head upstairs first.

Just as she walked out of the kitchen, Lin Nuan received a call from Fang Yan. Fang Yan said that Fu Tianci took the initiative to contact her and ask when they could reconvene to film the program. She wanted to see what Lin Nuan thought.

Fang Yan didn’t ask Lin Nuan about what happened at home. Fu Huai’an joining the Kaide Corporation’s board of directors as the largest shareholder wasn’t only Lin Nuan’s personal matter, but it was also her husband’s work matter.

After Lin Nuan hung up, a servant downstairs respectfully told her that dinner was being prepared and asked her when she wanted it to be served.

“Why didn’t you sleep for a while more?” Fu Huai’an asked.

“I can’t sleep comfortably without you around.”

Lin Nuan laid in Fu Huai’an’s arms with her head against his chest. Hearing his strong and powerful heartbeat made her feel at ease. She asked, “Are you done settling the matters regarding the Kaide Corporation?”

Fu Huai’an nodded. “The name list for the Kaide Corporation’s management will be announced on the official website soon.”

Fu Huai’an played with Lin Nuan’s fingers, which were like jade pipes and very nice to touch, before lowering his head to kiss them. His deep and magnetic voice was apologetic as he said, “When I’m busier in the future, I may not have that much time to spend with you.”
