"I heard you met with that person," Allen suddenly brought up.

"Ah…mmm that's right …" she trails of sensing his tone and placed her hand on top of his free one, " However, you don't have to worry. Nothing happened.

That's right, even though something could have happened. Lyn won't deny that when he touched her hair, that she was in complete control of herself. It would have been easy to get swept away into the momentum then. However, he quickly pulled away from her. That's right; the two of them already understand what must be done. They are already leading individual paths now. Being together …at this time, it wouldn't be right.

"I see, that's good, isn't it?"

"Yes."

Before there was somebody other than Kazuya, somebody who tried to win her over, that person was equally as persistent and yet, nothing happened. Lyn, however, decided that it was best that she met up with him since her freedom was no longer restricted. When she got a chance to slip away from Allen the past week, Lyn met up with him. She heard from mentor that guy was in the area, so she decided to meet up with him.

A deep sigh escaped her lips as she recalled what happened. Didn't he, still look hopeful? It was just her imagination, right?

"Your relations.h.i.+p with Kazuya is sure to get better now. Now that you are no longer distracted," Allen whispered.

It already has, ever since then the two of them would meet each other with more comfort and ease. However, Lyn pouts. " Your really going to let this slip, huh? As the fiance, you really ought to be jealous."

While Lyn knew that he had no romantic feelings for her, it still struck her as odd that Allen is not doing anything regarding the situation with Kazuya. She's still formally his fiance; he's going to let this go? Unless he has somebody else, he has feelings for? Lyn recalled that woman at the ball and then Lady Rei. Maybe one of these two? It was hard to say.

Allen chuckles, " It appears as though your desire for any form of amus.e.m.e.nt has become quite serious. Do you really desire such a showdown?"

Oh, so Rhys must have told him. " Once in a while, it would be nice to spice things up. I can't deny having an interest towards those romance novel like scenes."

"Yes, yes. But one must take into account the seriousness of the matter. Besides, I believe I monopolize your time quite a bit already, Princess."

True. She sees Allen more often since he came here. Despite her hectic schedule, the platinum-colored haired prince is always awake despite how late she gets back. He indeed has quite the workload too. But thinking about it now, the timing is too much of a coincidence. She wonders if he's been waiting up for her. Hearing a knock on the door, Allen drops the brush.

"Enter."

The doors opened, revealing a beautiful lady wearing moderate clothing. Ah.

"Lady Rei."

"h.e.l.lo Princess Lyn, Allen, why don't you let her go for a bit?"

Allen sighed, " I presume there's a reasonable explanation for this?"

Rei smiles, " Yes. It seems like she has a visitor. Not exactly a prince charming like yourself. But, he's quite the knight."

At that comment, Lyn rushed over to the window and scanned the grounds. Only to spot black hair by the gate. Her amethyst colored eyes brightened upon spotting her boyfriend. Kazuya! He came to see her, after all. Feeling her cloak being wrapped around her, she spotted Allen with a defeated expression, "Jealous after all?"

"Indeed, I'll be whining due to jealousy until you get back," Allen trails off, " But, for tonight I'll allow it since I got something nice already."

Huh? What does he mean by that? Lyn, however, didn't get a chance to say anything more as Allen walked away. Lyn didn't bother chasing after him and headed outside.

Upon arriving outside, she rushed over to Kazuya and ran into his arms in hailing his scent. Usually, there would be the scent of cigarettes mixed in. Yet today there was no sign of it, he really does only spoke during the meetings now. He's protecting his voice. The thought of it really did make her happy. " Your warm Kazuya."

"Gee. A straight-on full frontal attack, I'm glad to see that I've been missed."

Lyn laughed, "Of course," she's missed him a lot. Even though she saw him earlier, it felt like so much time had pa.s.sed by already.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.

His eyes went wide, and yet they softened, "Silly girl, you're too honest now."

The two found a somewhat quiet spot, "Um…so I get that you don't want the other guards and servants staring at you. But why are we in this position?"

"What's wrong with it? You're the one who said you wanted to be close to me."

She did say that. But won't people get the wrong idea when they see this? Lying down on the gra.s.s with the vast sky across them. Indeed, there really is something mysterious about it. " Was work tiring?" Lyn knew that while Kazuya was unwell, he still had things to do here as the amba.s.sador.

Kazuya closed his eyes, " Yeah, but when I thought of you such a thing as me being tired completely faded."

He opens his eyes, a soft gaze on his expression, " I thought about you constantly while I was working. The entire reason why I'm trying to succeed or the reason why I'm successful now is because of you. You're my strength. ''

Really, who's the one who's become honest? Truly, this person is the one she loves. She really does love's Kazuya, and that's why it's painful.

"Lyn?"

It's so very painful, and it feels like her very insides are being crushed. Ah, at this rate. At this rate once again she is going to … ' Lyn, you shouldn't tell anyone. Don't tell them that it's your powers that are….'. Hurt those that are precious to her. Recently she has placed bits and pieces together, the parts of her memory that were faddy. That's why she already knew even long before that incidence she would end up making a contract.

"Kazuya, kiss me," Lyn murmurs ever so quietly. Yet the brown-haired boy clearly got the message and brushed his hands against her black locks.
