"There is a reason why, I think this way now," Silver muttered.

A reason? Lyn however didn't get a chance to say anything, since he suddenly walked away. A deep sigh crossed her lips. What a frustrating person.

_____

A day later - Forest -

Kazuya didn't think anything would come out of following her. He was very curious, after the events of the other day. Even then, he did not think anything would come out of it. So, what is this? Who are these strange people? Lyn wasn't alone, she was with a group of strange and familiar people. Where did he see these people before?

"Yes," Lyn trails off. "And now, how long do you intend to hide yourself for Kazuya?"

So she realised he was trailing her, he stepped out of the shadows of the tree. "My my is this..."

"He ie," Lyn laughs, "Going to lecture me?"

Kazuya shook his head, "I cannot." Because she firmly made the decision despite being wandering and lost for a long time, "But, if you wish to be lectured then I have plenty of things I want to say. For instance please don't go around walking late in night and your leg is still injured so you shouldn't use such aggressive movements on it..."

"Ahh, you really don't hold back."

"But, I do have to ask you. Why so suddenly? Although I am aware that you have been agonising about this matter for a long time now."

At that comment Lyn lifted the flower Suoh had given her and held it closer to her chest, " That's true, this really is sudden. But I have already resolved myself. "His eyes went wide at those words could it be she ---? "I have to welcome those people back with a smile and what better then to have already made a choice. I don't want  to witness my agony and pain. And really, for awhile now I've been wanting to walk down on this path. Me and Suoh are strangely similar after all."

Suoh sighs. "So she claims. But it is interesting, and we all know she has more things in common with that other person."

Other person?

"What about...Rhys?" Kazuya felt stupid asking that question. The real question he wanted to ask wasn't about Rhys, but himself.

Kazuya didn't get a chance to hear Lyn's response though, since he feels a ominous presence around them. "Ah ah, I knew I should have activated the s.p.a.ce. What do we do? They've figured it out."

"I wonder. I know, let's leave this up to me."

"Not letting the great me s.h.i.+ne? I see I see."

They are surrounded, since it's dark it's going to be difficult to see where the opponents are. But hold on, did he hear her correctly? Did she really just say she will handle all this by herself, "With all due respect, Lyn your leg--"he was cut of when the brunette appeared in front of him and gently knocked their foreheads against each others, causing his eyes to widen. "...Lyn?"

Although forms of contact between them are normal. This is the first time he has ever been so close to her. "Recharged."

Kazuya's cheeks reddened when he hears those words.

Lyn smiles softly, "Even if your not next to me. I know that were connected, so ..."

"Very well," he reluctantly agreed.

Kazuya watches the black haired girl leap in to the air. A bright light surrounded her. It felt like she was dancing, the entire time the process looked so very beautiful.

..

Kazuya catches her arm and prevents her from falling, "Ah, thank you," Lyn thanked.

"You really are too reckless. ."he murmurs. She really is reckless and yet just now, that was really beautiful. You don't have to be wearing white to look like a Angel. Just now it seemed like there was genuine Angel wings surrounding the girl.

"Queen. We will take our leave, that was a interesting display you showed us. Come Tsukasa, Utobos.h.i.+." With those words said the trio disappeared, leaving him alone with the girl.

Kazuya's gaze fell on the dark skies. 'Those three are very mysterious.' He heard about them from other people. But, this was the first time he actually met them. Lyn really does have a lot of connections.

"Ah ah, he left one of his rings behind. He should stop acting all flashy," Lyn said, bending down to pick up the silver metal on the ground.

Just now he wonders if he was imagining it. But it felt as though a powerful wind was surrounding her almost. A powerful wind and gorgeous light acting as a barrier of some sort. How strange...it's not unusual to see barriers, due to the powers of the curse. Yet Kazuya had a different sort of feeling.

As he walked down the path with the black  hair girl though, he noted that her clothes had already gone back to normal. He figured that it was due to the contract-pact that was just made there and yet, "...Why does the outfit change?"

Lyn blinks and burst into laughter, " Out of all the things you could have asked me, I wasn't expecting that."

Kazuya averts his gaze clearly embarra.s.sed, " The attire is a important part of the battle." Despite what it seemed like, clothes are very important. Wearing the wrong thing could lead to a fatal mistake on the field.

"I know. Eh, well how to put it? I'm guessing it has something to do with me signing the pact with Suoh.. This marks me as part of their organisation I guess?"

His eyes twitches in annoyance at her vague terminology, " If you do not know then there's no need for you to answer!"

"But you asked."

This girl really is too unbelievable but this is already something he has grown quite accustomed too. This sort of behaviour from her, "By the way before the fight, you never answered my question. I asked you about him."

"About Rhys.  ."she trails of, "That's right you did. Actually I'm glad we got interrupted."

"Why?"

"Because right at that moment when you asked me I didn't exactly have a answer. However after the fight, something came to mind. I'll leave Rhys in your hands."

Kazuya blinked in surprise, he wasn't expecting that sort of response from her. "It almost sounds like your pus.h.i.+ng all the work on to me."

'It sounds like she genuinely cares for Rhys.' Kazuya however kept these words to himself. What use is there acting jealous, now of all times?

"Ehh? I'd never do that."

No, it's something she would do. While Lyn is hard working. She does have her lazy moments. Then again, those moments only appear when she is around people she cares about.

"Just saying those words alone must be confusing though. I want you to watch over him for me. Because for sure when Zepher comes and fetches me, I'll be sticking to him like glue and lavis.h.i.+ng him with attention that he hasn't received in a long time."

Hey hey, wasn't she talking seriously just now?

Lyn's gaze softens, " Indeed, I probably won't be able to watch over him properly . I won't suddenly start neglecting him but it won't be the same as before when Zepher gets me. That's something I have always kept in the forefront of my mind. I guess you could say I constantly repeated those words to remind myself not to get lost in the moment."

In other words to prevent herself from getting swayed along with the flow. So, Lyn thinks this way about Rhys?

What about him? What about him? Can he ask her? Is it okay for him to ask?
