Is he acting this careless because they are both from the Sound Kingdom? If so, then that's stupid . After all his mission right now is to destroy the Mist Kingdom . Why would King Daichi act so friendly?

"Elder Bryan was it? He sent me word you were coming here; he told me to aid you if you get caught," King Daichi said .

King Daichi sighed, "Don't misunderstand . I won't help you . And I've warned Orthez already about your little group . But, I only told her to watch over you, I didn't expose the plan . Her keeping an eye on you limits your movements . By exposed I'm talking about, the public . It would be bad for you if people found out right?"

So, in other words, he's not really on anybody's side . If it harms his wife and Lyn, then he would expose them in a heartbeat .

"If you can convince me that Lyn is better off with you then I'll nullify her engagement with Allen . "
