Princess Lyn: Fleeting Dreams 503 Over Before It Started

He does not intend to sound threatening in anyway, nor does he intend to go back on his word of returning her after the marriage is over. But unless he talks in this manner, that man would not think that he is serious at all.

"You know I've always been jealous of you. Although I knew she cared more about her boyfriend at the time, rather than her fiance. I couldn't help but feel jealous. After all it was clear as day that  she treated you as someone important. Acts of affection that she could engage with anyone other than the person she was dating, and yet she's never had to do so with you. I could tell that she was truly trying to establish something with you, something that would not be easy to throw away." Kazuya said.

"I see." He murmurs. 

So that's how he saw it, in the eyes of other people that's probably what it looked like. To admit the truth is something he has always avoided. However if it's this person, no if it's those people who bask in that moonlight. Allen knew that they would understand.

"Not too long ago I spoke with your team mate. Regarding you and her, he confronted me about the marriage."

"That man?"

"Yes. I always took him as a fool but it turns out that's not the case here."

 "Those guys do a complete 180 when it comes to her. "

Allen knew that he did not have to say anything to that. Despite what it looks like even he noticed.

The people surrounding his fiance, and the other men who love her. All of them would do anything to ensure her happiness.

"We spoke about quite a bit, the reason why she desires the throne and the extent of her feelings. But this is the bit that shall interest you I'm sure. 'The one Lyn needs is Kazuya, and the same goes vice versa. They already can't live a fate away from each other is that it?  I have been since we met each other. Since I met Kazuya and since I saw those two together.

I already understood that no matter how strong my own feelings are, she would never look my own way. I shall hurry up with the preparations and make sure to finish before six months, so she can fly to the arms of the man she really wants to be with. ' " Allen repeated the words he said to the King.

When he hears silence, Allen is not surprised. He knows that even someone like Kazuya would be shocked to hear him say such things. Indeed, he is surprised too. Allen did not think he would reach this conclusion.

It was all over before he even got a chance to do anything. Before he could even tell Lyn his feelings it came to an end. If he knew this would happen then he would have said something a long time ago. He would have told Lyn his feelings even if meant sacrificing his pride.

"To be honest with you, it's not as though I ever thought that I'd stand a chance with her. Although I knew how fond of me she was, I always understood that fondness would never be romantic feelings of love. The reason she is so motivated even now is because of you. Kazuya, she has yet to show you but there are many unreleased songs she wrote in the time that you were apart from each other. Songs that express her real feelings. "

 "Are you, really okay with that?" Kazuya questioned. " This trip with her has made me realise how many people I have taken her from. It's made me realise that even though our feelings are on the same page, she is suffering the more she loves me. " 

"But she will suffer more if you are apart from each other."

 "And you won't?"

 "You already know the answer to that. "

 It's because he knows that they are able to converse with each other.

Before Allen could say anything else, the doors opened revealing an annoyed looking Rhys. "Why are you two still here?"

"Did Lyn wake up?" Kazuya asked.

"She did--" Rhys trailed off and sighed. "Listen we are a bit busy tonight, so I think you two should just leave."

To his surprise Kazuya suddenly stood up. "I understand, lets go Prince Allen."

"But--" Allen did not get a chance to finish his sentence since Kazuya was pus.h.i.+ng him out of the door with great force.

When they finally reached the outside of the building and walked towards the gate. Kazuya stopped pus.h.i.+ng him.

"What was that all about?"

"Didn't you see Rhys appearance?"

Rhys appe-- Allen froze and his face colour turned pale. "You're okay with that?"

Kazuya laughed. "It's not like I am. I honestly wanted to punch him back there and I knew you would too if you realized."

Allen sighed in agreement. He knew that not even he would be able to keep his temper in check. He reluctantly walked out of the gate but turned back to look at the building. "Will she be okay?"

"Lyn is no push over. She won't allow Rhys to do whatever he wants."

Indeed Lyn is not that type of person. "I am worried that she will get caught up in the flow one day."

Just the mere thought of that barbaric man touching pure and innocent Lyn bothers him. Allen knew what kind of person Rhys is. He frequently saw the man heading over to the red light district. 

A man like that will never be able to treat Lyn well.

His gaze darted towards Kazuya. "Hurry up and take her back already. My worry for her increases the more we leave her with that man." Allen mumbled.

"I know, I am trying. I delayed my return to the Sound Kingdom for long, so I am sure they will appear in a few days and come for me. It won't be easy for me to return here once I leave."

"Indeed, but you must try."

Kazuya nodded. "Of course." He watched as the man look towards the skies. It was pitch black outside with not even a single star in sight. But Kazuya's gaze remained there.

What is this person thinking? When Kazuya first suggested they work together, Allen was very skeptical. But it did not take long before he agreed. This man reminds him of Lyn, yes that is the reason why he agreed. The two gave similar vibes when they worked hard. For some reason he could not pull away and ended up agreeing to all of his unreasonable requests.

After spending this much time with him, Prince Allen understood a bit about the man named Kazuya.
