The Genius' First Love 156 Random Fan

Unable to contain the mixtures of thrill and confusion that was overwhelming inside her, Xhemin went on his way to greet the boy upfront. She hurdled her way pa.s.s through the students that were surrounding Darryl and it only took a second for the students to notice her intrusion.

"Miss, are you lost or something?" One student who was wearing a pom pom hat halted Xhemin's steps, just a meter away from Darryl.

"I'm sorry…" Xhemin gasped contritely " I'm just going to say hi to—"

"Oh…" The girl cut her words halfway when she noticed that Xhemin was eyeing at Darryl specifically
"… Another random fan...aren't you?"

The girl's conclusion swept out easily from her mouth and captured the ears of those nearby. In just a split second, everyone eyes anch.o.r.ed at the female intruder as their brows slanted with a strong disapproval. Having the Lagdameo heir as their coach, they were used to strangers popping out randomly hoping to at least be noticed by Darryl. Their experience with these fans weren't that good, and such was obvious on the look of their faces.

"You aren't some Paparazii aren't you?" Another student asked Xhemin as he gave her a look from head to foot and concluded "Guess not….you don't have cameras with you"

"A desperate stalker I may say" said another one before she grunted "Gosh, when will 'your kind' end?"

"They'll never end I guess. They keep doubling in numbers, but trust me this one is an easy one. We had seen worse than her"

"Miss, yah' should be careful yah' know. Fan-girling isn't allowed in the camp. If the officers will notice you, yah' all be kicked out" This time a male student interfered giving Xhemin some fair warnings.

"She already knew that for sure. Fans these days are smarter than any of us probably"

"I agree. Look at her, she seemed not worried about getting kicked out. All she cares about was just to get a chance to dive into our handsome coach!"

The student's reaction trapped Xhemin in, she wanted to reason out but the circ.u.mstance got out of hand already before she could even redeem herself. Her only hope now was for Darryl to acknowledge her, then perhaps she could get away with the San Sebastian students judging eyes.

Well of course she will be judged. It's Darryl Lemmuel Lagdameo they were talking right here. The famous L Empire's legendary heir—and that alone means many things—apart from the fact that he was a six footer with hundreds of pounds of hard muscles, all wrapped in an irresistibly long-limped package, top with a devilish handsome face and the most perfect pair of hazel eyes.

"Miss I'm sorry but coach isn't up for any autographs or pictures" The girl who was wearing a pom-pom hat added. "Better luck next time!"

The girl's wish of fortune for Xhemin drew an intolerable laughter from almost everyone who heard it. The San Sebastian students did make Xhemin their source of entertainment at the time, mocking and laughing at her innocence and a.s.sumed desperation. They did thought she was another of Darryl's desperate fans and so they didn't bother throwing rocks at her alternately.

"hey Darryl…"Ignoring the students glares, she wave off to Darryl who was just one step away, maybe this time she'll get a positive response from him.

But she didn't.

For the second time he failed her and didn't even spare her a glance than previously. He was just right there, checking off the student's attendance and scribbling the data on the paper sheet he got in his hand.

"Miss, get a hold of yourself. I told you, he's not in the mood for stalkers" another commented when they all witnessed how Darryl shoved Xhemin's call by completely ignoring her, not even caring to throw the girl some glance.

Xhemin's ears started burning red from humiliation. As if the Darryl's previous sc.r.a.pe of not sending her any sort of email wasn't enough, now, he had the nerve to completely ignore her presence as if they were complete strangers. If only she had known, she wouldn't let herself be bothered by this kind of shame.

She really did not expect this, the way things had been going. What had gotten into Darryl's head that made him pretend that he doesn't recognize her at all? Did something happen to him, like amnesia or something? What a terrible circ.u.mstance for Xhemin to go through. She wasn't really used to Darryl acting up like this because he spoilt her with so much affection. But now, he is completely different, he was acting up strangely, something very un-Darryl-like and that made Xhemin's day turned into a long continuous nightmare.

"Miss you'd better go. You are delaying us. Can't you see we are busy 'round here?"

"Maybe we should go and ask the camp officers to take her away. She seemed very desperate" Perhaps tired of Xhemin's insistence, one of the students suggested for help.

The San Sebastian student's day in the camp has just started and they had a long list of task to do, they certainly don't have time to deal with fans tailing around their coach. Although they knew how popular Darryl was and how prune he was for having stalkers and admirers, they had always loved having him around and so despite the trouble, they always request Darryl to come. Besides, his attendance doesn't come in handy, he was quiet a busy coach so he don't come always as requested, only on certain occasions and the camp was one of them.

"I'll go and get a camp officer" Someone volunteered to go but before he could make a step Darryl already spoke, his strong voice halted every students, even the chattering stopped to give way for their coach that they revered so much.

"That's enough. You have to go and register yourselves now. So line up and don't trouble yourself" He told the last student who was about to leave and for the for the first time, he gave Xhemin a blank look on the face and let go of a dry tone "As for you miss, I'm sorry I don't have a time for you"

Then he left.

Just like that.

He left and the flock of San Sebastian students followed him without questions raised.

He left leaving Xhemin on the same spot, replaying his words in her mind over and over again "I'm sorry I don't have time for you" and those words made Xhemin eyes burn with hot tears rounding up at the corner of her eyes.
