The God Virus Volume 3 - 130 Going Ou

Staring at her with doubtful eyes, Virus replied, "Oh... is that so? Then it's fine. I want to partic.i.p.ate. However, I don't exactly know where the Normal Disciples' library is at... so could you please tell me where it is, apprentice-sister?"

Seeing him still wanting to partic.i.p.ate, Astes could only helplessly shake her head in exasperation, but didn't try to dissuade him any further as she uttered, "... Actually, I'm going to sign up tomorrow myself, so if you want, I will come after you tomorrow and show it to you too while I'm at it..."

"That would be great." Replied Virus.

THE EARTH OF TECHNOLOGY - THE NEXT DAY AFTER ELLA WAS INJECTED WITH [POTENTIAL OPENING INJECTION]

Going out of the bed like usual to begin her new day, Ella walked to the bathroom to brush her teeth, wash her face, etc.

However, what she didn't realize was that she was moving abnormally quick as she walked into the bathroom.

When she was in the bathroom, going in front of the was.h.i.+ng basin, she tried opening the mixer tap like always to wash her face.

But, to her stupefaction, unlike the previous times, when she tried opening the mixer tap until the end, its handle came off as it broke.

Looking at the handle of the mixer tap in her hand in shock, Ella suddenly remembered that she was now a lot more powerful than before after being injected with the [Potential Opening Injection]!

Then, she tried putting the handle back, but after many tries, she realized she couldn't fix it.

Out of frustration, she gave up and began to first wash her face with utmost cautiousness, however, when she tried brus.h.i.+ng her teeth, her toothbrush too suddenly broke inside her mouth, making her eyes wide-opened staring at the mirror as she voiced, "Uhh..."

In the end, when she was finally finished with her matters, she closed the flowing water from the bottom of the was.h.i.+ng basin before leaving.

A while later, she was sitting around a desk with her parents as she began to eat her breakfast very carefully after she notified them that the mixer tap has broken.

"Daniel, you know that's not true! My sister didn't do that on purpose... it's just... her personality is like that..." Megan said.

"I know, but that was still rude... and you can't justify that by just saying her personality is like that!" Daniel replied a little upset.

SHATTER~

At this point, Ella became completely distracted by her parents' argument as she picked up the gla.s.s in order to drink it, but the moment she picked it up, it shattered to pieces in her hand!

Her parents who were arguing stopped instantly as they looked at Ella in shock as they froze, when Megan finally uttered, "You... Elle... your hand!"

Megan wanted to say 'Did you just break that out of anger because we were arguing?' but seeing Ella's hand bleeding, she instantly hurried over to bring her away to bandage it.

Ella herself too was shocked as she thought in pain, 'Uh... I forgot again.'

A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER

Since that fateful day when Virus injected Ella with the [Potential Opening Injection], Ella has been very careful with her every action in dealing with the side-effects of being too powerful, especially when she was around people. For example, at first, it felt like time had slowed down and her normal talking speed became too quick for others to understand, though it seemed normal to her, so she slowly trained herself to talk slower so it wouldn't seem strange to others.

Additionally, she became abnormally strong from the moment that injection was injected. So, she had been trying to very careful when touching something fragile or sensitive.

However, even though she has been extremely cautious, there were many times when she couldn't control it at all, like when she became extremely nervous, scared, alert, etc.

Currently, Ella and one of her best friends called Jessica was sitting in a conference room beside each other as they listened to the professor's speech.

However, instead of the professor, the two were mostly the center of attention as the boys kept stealing glances at them, with the reason of Ella being too beautiful as one of the campus belles, while her friend, Jessica too, was deemed as a beauty just a tad bit inferior to Ella by a lot of males. Nevertheless, there were an endless amount of boys who pursued both of them almost evenly.

Though unlike the other boys in the conference cla.s.sroom, the two of them didn't pay any kind of attention whatsoever to their surroundings as they were fully focused on the professor's speech.

CRACK~

It was at this moment when Ella was noting down some of the details the professor was uttering when suddenly, her pen broke into two!

Seeing her pen broken, she helplessly mumbled, "Uhh... another one broke..."

Then, taking out another pen which she had prepared beforehand, she continued writing.

"Again? What's with you, Elle? Are you angry at someone or something?" Jessica voiced as she shook her head.

At the same time, when Ella's pen had broken in her hand, some of the boys were looking at Ella and Jessica, as they witnessed this strange scene in their line of sight which made their eyes almost bulge out!

Afterward, they no longer dared to look at either of them as they were afraid they would annoy and anger Ella once more, thus dooming them to the same fate as the poor pen.

THE PRESENT TIME WITH ELLA

Right now, Ella was in her room, as she seemed to be getting ready and dressing for going out.

~Knock ~Knock ~Knock

Knocking on her door first, her mom entered as she saw her daughter getting ready as she seemed to want to go out, so she asked, "Elle... why are you dressing??? Are you going somewhere?"

"Mom? Did you forget already? I told you last week that I would go out with my friends tonight..." Ella replied, as she stopped dressing for a moment.

"Oh... that was tonight... I see... okay, get ready and go... have fun. Buuut... don't tell me my daughter wants to go out with her boyfriend secretly without telling her parents first?" Megan voiced as she remembered that she had truly notified her of going out tonight, but she couldn't help by try to tease her a little bit.

But not teased in the least, instead, Ella hit her hard with her response, "Mom... seriously, do you think I'm just an elementary-school kid to keep such things from you? If I wanted to go out with Ai, I would've just said so... also, he's not around at the moment, so even though I would very much like to go out with him... I can't."

Listening to her response, Megan couldn't help but think, 'Sigh... My baby girl has truly grown up to be a good adult now. Kids grow up too fast...'

Then she asked a little surprised, "Eh... where has he gone off to?"

Not wanting to talk about this with her mother, Ella casually answered, "He had some small matter to attend to outside of the city."
