The God Virus Volume 2 - 97 The Internal Phase

As time pa.s.sed, the blue flames increased as he was soon surrounded by them.

After the blue flames filled the room and could be seen everywhere, Virus was soon drowning in them while standing in a room filled with blue flames.

However, when his body came into contact with the blue flames from head to toe, oddly, no burnt marks appeared anywhere on his body, as if the flames couldn't burn him at all like they were incapable of burning anything.

His clothes too, seemed to be completely fine and nothing happened to them, they were just fluttering in the intense blue flame.

If anyone saw Virus in this situation, the first thought that would pop into his mind wouldn't be to be suspicious of the fire, on the contrary, he would believe Virus had some kind of impossible to exist immunity to fire like in those fantasy novels they had read in the past.

After more in-depth pondering, he would also a.s.sume that his clothes were made of a material which was resistant to fire.

Right now, Virus was totally fine standing in the pool of blue flames. And according to his current features, it appeared he was feeling no pain whatsoever.

Then raising his left hand in front of his face, he looked in amazement at his hand which was surrounded by blue fire.

Currently, Virus was feeling a deep warmth that he had never before imagined to be possible, it was like he was burning, but he felt no pain, on the opposite, it was filling him with tinges of pleasure. He reckoned that this feeling was completely paradoxical.

Inside his body, after achieving the magnification of 1000x, at the level where you would be able to clearly see the details of the cells, right now, changes were occurring in his body inside every cell.

The cells seemed to be vibrating as they were showering in flames. The flames seemed to have pa.s.sed the surface of Virus' body without the slightest of obstruction as of now, they existed inside every cell too.

As time pa.s.sed, small changes were occurring inside every cell, because as they vibrated and were placed under the direct effect of blue flames, some parts inside them were apparently starting to disappear.

This was what the blue flame was doing at the moment. It was burning every impurity inside every cell while turning them into nothingness.

This blue flame was a very special kind of flame which could only affect things at the size of cells or smaller as it only worked on the smallest structural and functional unit of organisms or organic matters such as cells.

Another feature which made this flame very special was that it could be commanded to target or not target specific parts, material, matters, or things in the cells. This was a technology the future civilization was supposed to develop in the future.

When Virus was programming and coding previously through the 3D interface which filled the whole room, one of the instructions he gave the 3D interface at that time was for it to not target anything necessary a cell contains, so he had to input everything which has to exist in the cell for it to function correctly, excluding the impurities.

So now, the blue flame was actually targeting everything in the cells which was not on its safe list.

Hours pa.s.sed, but Virus was still standing in the middle of the room without moving in the least.

As he continued standing there, he started pondering about the actions he undertook until now, 'In the past nine levels, what I have been doing was to purify and cleanse the s.p.a.ce between the cells, which means I've been doing nothing to the cells.'

'For example, during the second level which is Cleansing The Flesh and Muscles, if I had magnified to the level of cells, I would've witnessed that the impurities being banished from the body at that time was only between the cells rather than the cells themselves.'

'The cultivators in the Cultivation Multiverse of Qi think that their whole bodies would be purified completely if they were able to purify up to hundred percent at each level of the Purifying Stage while a.s.suming the last existing level is the eighth level. They don't actually know that what they've been cleansing in all of the eight levels altogether was only the s.p.a.ce between the cells rather than inside them...'

'Also, they know the brain exists, but they believe it's too dangerous and impossible to go near to before having a high level of cultivation, so they leave it be until be.'

'But in the future after discovering the Cultivation Multiverse of Qi, the Earth's civilization realized that what the cultivators had been doing was very incomplete. And after years of research, mankind developed their own system of levels for the Purifying Stage.'

'They called the first to eighth level together with the ninth level which they had discovered and added themselves the External Phase while naming the tenth level the Internal Phase...'

'External Phase was called as such because its focus was outside the cells while the Internal Phase was called that because in this phase, inside of the cells were targeted directly.'

Two more hours pa.s.sed as Virus just stood there while his line of thought went to different matters and places in order to kill some boredom when finally, the flames started to die out and eventually disappeared entirely.

After the blue flame was gone completely, he walked toward the door and went outside.

Outside, the golden beauty was still standing there together with the Security and Island uglies.

Without paying any attention to any of them, Virus directly walked in front of the golden beauty and mumbled, "Give me the syringe."

Then taking it from the golden beauty's hands, he directly injected it to himself.

After seeing the syringe injected, the golden beauty spoke with a grin, "Welcome back, master."

"What did you do inside this huge cube, master?" She asked shortly afterward.

"I purified my body." Virus replied casually.

Listening to his response, the golden beauty uttered with a dull voice, "Again?! When are you going to be done with this cleansing process of yours master..."

"Haha, don't worry, I'm done already." Virus answered with a short laugh.

"That's good to hear... anyway, what did you cleanse this time? And why did you inject yourself with that thing..." The curious natured golden beauty continued asking about the details she didn't understand.

"Well, the name of this level was Cleansing The Cells, so I'm sure lil Belle can guess what I did, and as for the syringe, it makes the part which I just purified immune like the previous levels." Virus patiently explained to her.

"Cleansing The Cells? That sounds cool master!... Did you cleanse every cell in your body?" She voiced again but this time her eyes were s.h.i.+ning more brightly, indicating that she was now more curious.

"Haha, yes, of course, I purified every cell that exists in my body including my neurons, red blood cells, white blood cells, and even the bone cells." Virus clarified further seeing her funny sounding curiosity.
