The General Who Hates Me 105 Blind Date

"Let's go for a walk?" Cielo said as she was getting prepared her two years old toddler.

She opened the door and was startled to see a man, standing in front of her door.

"Yes?" she murmured, then the man turned around and she almost burst out into a fit of laughter.

"Zach?" she murmured as she tried hard not to laugh because of Zach's appearance.

"Oh my G.o.d, what happened to you. The heck, I almost did not recognize you. Why didn't you tell me that you were arriving today?" she asked in a row as she let him inside.

She quickly prepared a meal for Zach because she was sure he was hungry, as he came straight to her unit after returning from the mission.

He's been out for years, hence, he had no food stock at his unit.

"Torin headed straight at the headquarters to report. I look so wasted so I went straight here," Zach answered simply.

Then he smiled at the toddler who held his hand.

"h.e.l.lo, little one… You are already so big…" he whispered as he pinched the toddler's nose.

"He just turned two last week. His name is Dice…" she answered as she served Zach his meal.

"Don't tell me that Torin also looks the same as you?" she said chuckling.

"Of course, it's a perfect disguise…" Zach murmured as he hastily began to eat. 

"Dice is a nice name. Have you combined Drey and Cielo?" Zach asked.

Cielo laughed and answered, "Hmm, not really, it's because that name suits him."

Dice were often used in board games - in gambling at most.

Zach creased his forehead and asked, "You mean he still did not know?"

"Yes… His graduation is next week… I plan to watch it and decide by then if it's already the time to tell him." Cielo explained.

She did not want to hide the truth forever but she felt that the timing was not right yet.

"I told you the man deserves to know… Anyway, I will now go to my unit. Thank you for the meal. I need to get rid of this hair on my face ASAP," Zach said with a smile and bend down to the toddler and said, "Once Unce is clean, I will kiss you, okay?"

Inside his unit, Zach cleaned up and shaved. Then he looked at his reflection in the mirror.

Finally, he could recognize his own self after the beard and mustache were gone. It's been almost three years.

He had already called his family and would visit them as soon as he settled certain things in the city.

Two days after…

Keira was looking at the tablet inside the car. It was the report about Ryu Ken.

"Wow, John… He's not bad, huh?" she commented as she looked at Ryu's profile.

"Yes, Miss, but he's complicated… He already has someone…" John commented.

Keira sighed. She had agreed to give this blind date a shot due to one reason.

"Are you sure that Zach has heard you?" she asked.

"Yes, Miss, he was there when I reported to Field Marshal Chan the details of your blind date," answered John.

He was surprised when he saw Zach at Field Marshal Chan's office two days ago because he arrived earlier than expected.

So he intentionally mentioned to the Field Marshal the details of his Miss' blind date that day, making sure that Zach heard everything.

And because of that, he was rewarded generously by Miss.

"Alright, make sure you look at the area and call me in case you see any signs of his presence," she instructed. She did not want to have any expectations, but she would still like to know if Zach spared time to crash her blind date.

She knew it was very childish of her to think something like that would happen but still… she would…

"By the way, you two follow me inside the restaurant. I better give that Ryu Ken something to get turn off with…" she said grinning.

John looked at Jim, who was driving and answered him with a shrug.

Keira quickly spotted Ryu and grinned as she walked towards him with J & J at her back.

Ryu, on the other hand, almost choked while drinking when he noticed her, coming towards him.

'Bodyguards on a date? Really?' he thought inwardly.

"h.e.l.lo Mr. Ken, I'm Keira Chan," Keira said as she extended her hand to Ryu.

"No need," she spoke when she noticed that Ryu was about to stand up and she a.s.sumed that he would pull the chair for her. She simply looked at John who quickly moved to pull out the chair for her instead.

"Let these boys, do their job." She whispered with a wink.

"Guys, you can go out now. I'm already inside, right? Ahh… Don't worry, I can't escape from here, duh!" Keira acted irritably toward her bodyguards and they immediately walked out of the restaurant to wait for her there. 

"So Mr. Ken, we are both here out of our will. I believe you already have someone in your life, right? I have done my homework about you before I came to meet you here… in case you are wondering how I get to know about it." She smiled while scanning the menu.

"I'm here because I was blackmailed with my black cards. Anyway, I also have a General who I will marry very soon no matter what happens. So why don't we make a deal and team up together against the domineering parents of ours?" Keira added and raised an eyebrow when she noticed Ryu's sudden gloomy face so she followed his gaze.

"Well, well, well, I see the jealous girlfriend is here to take her revenge. Hahaha, she is really pretty, and that man beside her is also handsome!" Keira blurted out laughing when she followed Ryu's gaze.

It was the woman in John's report, sitting at the other table with another man.

"I think, Mr. Ken, you will need my help to coax your girlfriend today, don't you think so? And trust me, I'm good at it." Keira continued to talk with excitement.
