Noah smiled, "Good to know," and went towards the refrigerator to get water for himself.

Just then, Noah stepped towards where his friends sat, carrying one water bottle, and the two stopped talking.

Noah threw one bottle at Lu Lijun, which he caught, "Thank you," and opened the bottle lid to drink the water.

Sitting on the sofa, Noah observed Lu Lijun, "Did you go on a date?"

Lu Lijun ended up spurting out the water in his mouth as he coughed.

"Really?" Noah asked again, not minding how his friend was.

Jake patted Lu Lijun's back to help him stop coughing.

"Noah, pa.s.s me the tissue paper," Jake interrupted him.

Noah almost ended up saying he and president Lu but then got to know Lu Lijun went with someone else. Noah felt relieved that Jake interrupted him.

Jake nodded and then turned again to Lu Lijun, "Just meeting or…."

"Why?" Jake asked again.

"Just," came the one-word reply, which was the end of any further discussion.

"This guy is up to something again," Noah commented.

Lu Lijun didn't react, and the two friends understood they were right.

"Don't do anything that you will regret later," Jake warned.

Lu Lijun again didn't react to it, and his friend looked at each other, feeling worried about him.

Jiang Yuyan went to her home where San Zemin and Xiao Min were already present in the living room.

She sat on the sofa as the other two bowed to her.

San Zemin pa.s.sed her the tablet and sat on the sofa next to Xiao Min, opposite his boss.

Jiang Yuyan looked through the pictures on the tablet, which showed what Lu Lijun did since he left home, Lu Lijun with Liwei in the car, in the cafe.

The pictures from the cafe caught her attention where it showed how Lu Lijun protected Liwei.

"Is he hurt?" Jiang Yuyan asked.

"Doesn't seem serious," San Zemin replied.

Keeping the tablet aside, she asked, "Did you talk to the driver?"

Jiang Yuyan referred to Lu Qiang's car driver, who got hurt in the accident, and Lu Lijun talked to him a month back.

San Zemin nodded, "He only talked as much he was instructed to, but…"

"But what?"

"Fourth young master suddenly asked him about someone out of China that was involved in it, or the previous boss had the grudges with," San Zemin explained.

"Is he looking for a person from the USA?" Jiang Yuyan asked.

"Looks like it because out from China, those people from the USA were involved in it."

Jiang Yuyan was aware of it too.

"Block any information that could lead him to that person," Jiang Yuyan ordered. "Also, he should not know about Xi Cheng."

Talking about a few other things, Jiang Yuyan asked them to leave. San Zemin got up to go while Xiao Min didn't look like he would leave.

She glared at him, "It's weekend. Don't let your family blame me for keeping their precious son away from them."

Jiang Yuyan turned colder, "Should I ask Ms. Song Meilin to call a.s.sistant Li back so that you can be busy there and spare me?"

Jiang Yuyan knew that mentioning Shen Li was the only solution to get rid of Xiao Min.
