When everyone was talking and having fun with a baby around, there was a knock on the door and Lu Han and his wife Qin Xiu entered the room.

Seeing them everyone was happy but Lu Lian. She just stood quiet and Jiang Yuyan observed it.

"How are you Baobao?" Lu Han asked while Qin Xiu went to the baby that Jiang Yang held.

"I am good, elder brother," Lu Bao replied.

Jiang Yang handed over the baby to Qin Xiu who couldn't stop admiring the baby. Having a wide smile on her face, Qin Xiu looked at Lu Bao, "She is as sweet and cute as you."

Lu Bao smiled and looked at her husband, "See, I told you she looks like me but you…."

"I give up," Mu Xucheng said, "Who can win against their wife?"

Lu Han went to the baby and looked at Mu Cheng and after observing the sleeping baby, "My sister is right."

"Good for me. Now I know my daughter would be prettiest," Mu Xicheng said as he smiled.

They talked and laughed but Lu Lian was still silent and excused herself. She left the room and went out. Jiang Yuyan said nothing as she thought to talk to her later.

In a while, Lu Han got the call so he excused himself too. Jiang Yuyan felt worried that if he came across Lu Lian she might say something to him. Jiang Yuyan too excused herself and left to go out. Lu Han was busy attending a call in the Balcony at the end of the corridor which was close by.

Jiang Yuyan searched for Lu Lian but she was nowhere to be found. Lu Lian left her cellphone in the room so Jiang Yuyan couldn't even call her.

Lu Han hung up the call and looked at Jiang Yuyan who had walked along the entire corridor and finally stopped near the balcony.

"Are you searching for someone?" Lu Han asked.

Jiang Yuyan nodded and said, "Lian."

"When I came out, I didn't see her either. Don't worry, I will search for her." Saying, he walked ahead.

Jiang Yuyan turned to look at him and called, "Brother Han."

Lu Han froze in his place as if he got the shock. He didn't dare turn and look back at her as he turned emotional. It's been ten years but not even once Jiang Yuyan addressed him as brother Han. She always treated him like a stranger and he accepted it as his punishment.

"Brother Han," Jiang Yuyan said again.

Lu Han breathed deeply to calm himself down and turn around but didn't know what to talk about. "Do you want me to bring something as I am going to look for Lu Lian?"

"I want brother Han to forgive himself now," Jiang Yuyan said.

Lu Han felt choked. He tried to be calm but now felt heaviness in his chest but he still tried to hold back. "Everything is fine as it is. You don't need to feel bad for me or anything."

Lu Han was afraid that Jiang Yuyan would forgive him and he didn't want it. He didn't want her to forgive him and wanted to suffer for his mistakes till the end of his life.

"Nothing is fine," she said. "I want you to forgive yourself."

"I am afraid, I can't," He replied.

"Brother Han, you should be responsible towards the family and think about bringing happiness to it," she said.

"I don't know what else I can do. I….."

"It's time for you to stop being stubborn and fulfill grandpa's wish."

"I can't…."

"Even a few years back I said the same thing when you made Qin Xiu abort her baby. I told you, you don't have to do this. I told you I forgave you and you should live your life but..."

"I am sorry, but I can't," Lu Han turned to leave.

"Is your regret greater than our family's happiness, grandpa and grandma? Can't you see how happy your wife was when she held Lu Bao's baby?"

"She understands the situation," Lu Han countered.

"I know and that's why you should be grateful to her and not make her suffer anymore," Jiang Yuyan said, "I never hated you for what you did back then but I was just upset thinking how much Lu Qiang would have felt hurt after knowing it. Later I was upset because of the way you chose to repent. But the unfairness you are doing with your wife just because you want to repent over some silly mistakes, will sure make me hate you one day."

Lu Han looked at Jiang Yuyan who looked desperate to make him understand everything. "Yuyan…."

"If brother Han thinks he owes Lu Qiang then he should be the reason for the happiness of the family which is what Lu Qiang always wished for. I want you to be the reason for Grandpa and Grandma's happiness. Trust me Lu Qiang would have wanted the same. I beg you to forget everything and move on."

Lu Han could only stand silently holding back from shading a single tear.

"The one who was supposed to leave us has already gone and even if you show regret, he would never be back. All you can do is, take care of everyone in his absence and do what he could have done to make everyone happy. I expect the same thing from you, brother Han."

Lu Han nodded lightly, "I will search for Lu Lian," and turned to leave.

Lu Feng, who had come out of the room a while ago, had heard it all which was not unknown to him.

He stood in front of his brother to stop him from leaving. "Yuyan is right, brother. It's time for you to stop now."

"I will think about it." Saying, Lu Han left.

Lu Feng went to Jiang Yuyan who felt helpless in front of Lu Han's stubbornness, "Give him some more time. This time he might think about it. It's not easy for him either."

"I know, that's why I want him to stop now. I don't want him to suffer for some silly mistakes he made in the past."

Lu Feng nodded, agreeing to what she said, and commented, "By now you should have understood that we all are stubborn when it comes to love, hate, or even regrets and you are no different from us."

Jiang Yuyan gave him a narrowed eye look, "I am no match for you. If you were not stubborn, grandpa's wish had been fulfilled long back."

Lu Feng smiled, "I take my words back. No one can win against angry President Lu."

Just as Lu Feng said these words, Lu Lijun came towards them.

Jiang Yuyan frowned and Lu Feng looked at Lu Lijun who was walking towards them.

"Well, I forgot there is someone who can win against your anger even," Lu Feng commented that only Jiang Yuyan could hear.

"Why don't you take him with you teach him some manners," Jiang Yuyan commented back.

"I am sure my brother doesn't need any kind of teaching. He is perfect in all way."

Jiang Yuyan could only feel angry, "To h.e.l.l with this brotherly affection between you people," and walked to go back to the room.

Just as she pa.s.sed by Lu Lijun, he held her hand to stop her. "What happened to make you this angry?"

"Will you stop showing your worry for me in front of others?" she asked.

"Others? I see only brother Feng here. Where are others?" Lu Lijun asked nonchalantly.

Jiang Yuyan turned to look at Lu Feng who smiled lightly and acted as if he didn't know what was going on and then looked back at Lu Lijun greeting her teeth, "Let me go."

Lu Lijun left her hand and said, "We will talk once we are home."

"I have nothing to talk about," she said angrily and left.

Lu Lijun went to Lu Feng who was smiling at how p.i.s.sed Jiang Yuyan was.

"She looks even lovable when she is angry," Lu Lijun said.

Lu Feng nodded, "But don't overdo it. You never know what she will do."

"Hmm, I know. That's why I gave her some s.p.a.ce for more than a week."

"Good."

Lu Lijun smirked teasingly and said, "Elder brother seems mastered in it now."

"I am older than you. Do you dare expect less from me?"

"My bad."

Both laughed a little and stood in the gallery while looking outside ahead towards the city.
