In the evening, Lu Qiang was ready and he went downstairs to leave for the airport, his parents and elders were present there along with Lu Lijun. They all noticed the sad expressions on Jiang Yuyan's face.

"Elder brother, little birdie looks so off in a mood," Lu Lijun said in a low voice but others could hear it.

"Cough!" Jiang Yuyan looked at others as Lu Lijun called her little birdie but others reacted as if they didn't notice.

She gave him a narrowed eyes look, saying, 'When your brother will leave, no one would be here to protect you from me, Lu Lijun, so you better behave'.

Lu Lijun had a teasing smile as if saying, 'We will see who should be the one to be careful'.

When they left to go out of the mansion, Xiao Min was waiting for his boss with a car parked behind him. He greeted the family members and the signaled servant to keep his bosses bag inside the car.

Saying bye, others went inside the mansion leaving Jiang Yuyan and Lu Qiang but Lu Lijun stayed back and went to Xiao Min.

Lu Qiang hugged Jiang Yuyan. "You should smile when I am leaving or I will miss the pretty smile that I like to see every moment."

Jiang Yuyan smiled. "I will miss you a lot."

"I know but once I am back, I will make up for everything so prepare yourself for it." Hearing it, Jiang Yuyan looked at where Lu Lijun went and gave out a sigh of relief as he was busy talking to Xiao Min.

"Good to see how much you are always worried about Lu Lijun. When I am not around, I can trust my wife to take care of the precious part of my heart." Lu Qiang was happy that as much as him, Jiang Yuyan cared for Lu Lijun.

"I think of him as my younger brother too and moreover he is cute, unlike someone."

"Don't forget he took after me so when I was of his age, I was like him."

"He took after you. That means when he grows up, he will be like you and will lose all this cuteness." She questioned as if she was not happy with the thought.

"Hmm! He is going to be a true man like me."

"Doesn't seem that bad then," she said.

"But calling him cute might be your mistake. Tell me how cute you find him once I am back." Lu Qiang had a mischievous smile on his face as if he could predict what Lu Lijun would do.

"I need to go now or I will miss the flight."

"Hmm!" She nodded.

Lu Qiang went to the car where Lu Lijun and Xiao Min were standing. "Take care of her, Lu Lijun."

"Don't worry brother. As I promised, I will always take care of her in your absence and I won't let her miss you."

"Good boy." Lu Qiang patted his head and sat in the car looking at Jiang Yuyan. She smiled at him and as the car turned, both Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan waved at him.

Looking at her sad face, he commented, "If you will cry, then let me tell you, I don't like cry-babies."

"W-Who is going to cry? Can't I be just sad as he left?"

"You can, but it's enough for now as I don't have time for baby-sitting. I need to study." Saying Lu Lijun stepped towards the mansion to go inside and frowning Jiang Yuyan did the same.

"Who was the one to say- I will take care of her," She questioned.

"I will but for now I need to study. I guess you are still a student too." He made a sarcastic remark.

Jiang Yuyan understood what he meant. 'This little iceberg always acts so big as if I am a kid."

He noticed her expressions and said, "You are, Yuyan."

"What?"

"Still a kid."

Not arguing with him, frowning, Jiang Yuyan left to go to her room and decided to study so that she could distract herself from missing Lu Qiang. After one, she heard a knock on the door. As she opened the door, Lu Lijun was standing there.

"What do you want now? I don't need your babysitting."

"I am here to ask if the baby wants to have some fun."

"What fun?" she asked curiously, forgetting she was upset with him.

"For that, you have to come with me."

"Okay. Let me tidy up my study table." Saying she moved back inside while Lu Lijun stayed outside of the door and ordered, "Make it faster."

She stopped and turned to look at him. "Why are you standing there? Come inside as I might take time."

"I am fine here," came the cold voice from a little iceberg.

"Are you afraid that I might bully you as you keep pulling my leg?"

"Hmm! I fear witches."

"What? You… called me a witch."

"Hmm!"

She frowned. "Keep standing there then. I don't care if you will keep standing the whole night."

"I am not a fool to stand here for that long. I will just go back to my room. You can take your time until tomorrow."

"Iceberg!" she murmured to herself and finished tidying up her study table. She went out of the room and both went downstairs.

As they were walking together, Jian Yuyan said, "Stay away from me as you never know this witch might eat you up."

Lu Lijun didn't react and continued leading her way to his room. When they went inside, Jiang Yuyan didn't talk much while Lu Lijun went to bring his gaming consoles.

Seeing her still sad, he said while handing her one console and sitting on the couch beside her, "I was kidding. I didn't come inside because mother asked me not to visit my elder brother's room often as he is married now and I was doing what mother asked me to do."
