Seeing her observing the home carefully, Jiang Yang spoke. "Nothing changed since you came here the last time."

"Hmm!"

As they reached the living room, Jiang Yang stopped near the sofa. "Have a seat, I'll bring something for you to drink."

Nodding, Nix.x.xie sat on the sofa and Jiang Yang went to the kitchen, leaving the bag next to the sofa. It was not the first time she was alone with him, but she felt her heart was pounding a bit faster once she stepped inside and the door closed. Every time when she was with him, she knew, she had to go back home and always tried not to be late but this time she had to spend a night and a day with him and there was no going back.

Jiang Yang came back from the kitchen with two gla.s.ses of juice. He offered her one and got one for himself.

"Thank you," she said.

"Be like as if you are in your home. No need to feel awkward or ask permission to do something." Jiang Yang comforted her, and she nodded, "Hmm!"

"In the future, this can be your own home, if you are ready to accept me." Jiang Yang commented, but as Nix.x.xie was used to it, it didn't affect her. She calmly replied, "I will think about it."

"I wish to get the result of your thinking for long on the positive side," Jiang Yang countered.

"We will see."

Both finished the juice. Getting up from the sofa, Jiang Yang offered her. "Let's go upstairs to keep your stuff in the room."

"Room? W- Which one?" She asked.

"Of course, mine. Haven't you come here to be with me?"

"Hmm!"

"Then how can you think to be not in my room. Nights seem longer when the person you love is around, but not with you. Do you think I can be away from you for that long?"

His direct and bold questions left her with no words but just to listen to him. Not saying anything, Nix.x.xie got up from the sofa and Jiang Yang led her way upstairs. Nix.x.xie followed him, thinking about how it would be, being with him in the same room for so many days and spending nights with him.

When they reached upstairs, Nix.x.xie was ready to follow Jiang Yang to his room as she knew which one was his room, but Jiang Yang stopped and Nix.x.xie b.u.mped into his back.

Jiang Yang smiled. "Are you dreaming about how we will spend our days and nights in the same room?"

"Cough! No. I didn't realize you stopped."

"I see." Acting as if he believed her, Jiang Yang turned to his sister's room that puzzled Nix.x.xie.

He opened the door of Jiang Yuyan's room and signaled Nix.x.xie to step inside the room.

"It's Yuyan's room," said Nix.x.xie as she was still confused about what Jiang Yang was doing.

"Hmm! It is but you can use it till your stay here," Jiang Yang replied.

It confuses her even more. A while ago he was saying something else, like staying in his room and now this sudden change.

Seeing her puzzled, Jiang Yang smiled teasingly. "Are you upset that you will not stay in my room? If you are, then my room is just there. Let's go to my room..."

"N-No. It's fine. Anyway, I liked Yuyan's room. "It's so lively and colorful."

"Good, that you liked it or I almost thought to carry you to my room."

"No need. I would be happier to be in this room."

"Really? Will see then which room you would like to stay in." Saying Jiang Yang took Nix.x.xie's bag inside the room and Nix.x.xie followed him.

Jiang Yang opened the wardrobe whose one side was empty and instructed. "You can keep your clothes here. Other things in the room, you are already aware of so be yourself."

"Hmm!" she nodded, seriously listening to his instructions.

"And if you need anything, you can come to me."

"Hmm!"

"In the night if you are scared to be alone here, you are always welcome in my room."

"Hmm!" in the flow she nodded but realizing what she agreed for, Nix.x.xie spoke. "I am not a kid to get scared if I am alone.'

"Right. Then, if you miss me, you are always welcome to my room."

"It seems like you just want me to be in your room in any way possible. Let's just go to your room." Saying Nix.x.xie stepped to her bag to get it, but Jiang Yang held her hand.

'This woman. It's impossible to tease her.' He thought.

Nix.x.xie looked at him questioningly to see why he stopped her so he said, "I really wanted to take you to my room, but I am not sure about myself."

"She stood straight, facing him. "What are you not sure about?"

Jiang Yang pushed her towards the wardrobe, which was just a few inches behind her. Gazing into her eyes he spoke, "I am not sure about so many things and one of them is this." Saying he kissed her.

After long, both were kissing as they didn't get time to be together. Jiang Yang was busy with elder Lu's treatment and looking after him along with his long list of patients and Nix.x.xie was busy with her mother who was educating her about the business they run.

The kiss was a pa.s.sionate one, which showed how much they missed it. Pressing her against the door of the cupboard with his one hand on her shoulder to press her and the other one on the back of her neck while she was holding his s.h.i.+rt on either side of his waist.

Sucking and kissing her lips harshly, Jiang Yang saught for her tongue and Nix.x.xie responded the same. She never understood what was the magic in his touch that she always gave up to him and even he stopped, she wanted him to keep going.

After a long breathless kiss, Jiang Yang spoke, still touching her lips with his, "I missed you." There was a need in his eyes as he said it, a need for his woman.

Catching her breath, Nix.x.xie replied, "I missed you too."
