"It's between us boys," Lu Lijun replied calmly, but it angered Jiang Yuyan even more.

"You are still so young to deal with things like this and what was so serious that you hit them?" Jiang Yuyan questioned, but Lu Lijun ignored it.

"I am tired." Saying he leaned back and closed his eyes as he instructed, "Wake me up when we will reach the hospital."

Jiang Yuyan wanted to confront him, but she couldn't because she knew he won't answer her even if she begs. She thought to wait for Xiao Min to get all the details about the fight and report it to her.

On the way to the hospital, there was a silence in the car as no one talked. Lu Lijun opened his eyes, and from the corner, he checked on her. She was sitting quietly while looking out of the car window but he noticed the frown lines on her forehead which clearly showed she was very upset with him.

Jiang Yuyan turned her face to look at him, but he immediately closed his eyes and pretended to sleep again.

"Don't act. I know you are not sleeping. I will not let this matter slide, so you better brace yourself," Jiang Yuyan warned.

"You look pretty when you are angry," Lu Lijun replied, his eyes still closed.

Jiang Yuyan gave him a narrow-eyed look, "If you think b.u.t.tering me can work, so let me tell you it's useless."

"I am telling the truth," Lu Lijun replied.

"You Just wait, I…."

"But you don't look pretty when you give me hollow threats," Lu Lijun interrupted her. He was not even looking at her, but he didn't miss a chance to annoy her.

Frowning, she asked, "Hollow threats, huh?" This kid was taking her for granted.

"Hmm! Now let me sleep." Lu Lijun was not affected by her anger. Instead, he liked it, but he didn't wish to drag it.

Xiao Min helped those boys and there were security guards at the school, so the matter went to the princ.i.p.al. As the school was just over, the princ.i.p.al and all the teachers were present there. The boy whom Lu Lijun hit in the face with his heavy bag, his nose was bleeding and they had to take him to the infirmary in the school.

When both boys were present in front of the princ.i.p.al, he asked, "What happened?"

"Lu Lijun hit us," one boy replied.

"And why so?"

"We did nothing. He just gets angry over minor things all the time and hit anyone. He is a psycho," the other boy replied.

Both put on the act as if they were being bullied by a rich kid.

"I received no complaint about him hitting anyone since the past few years," the princ.i.p.al countered.

The princ.i.p.al was aware of Lu Lijun's past and on request from Lu Qiang; he was closely observing Lu Lijun for the past few years. To his knowledge; he knew Lu Lijun never messed up with anyone without reason. These two boys would tell nothing, so the princ.i.p.al investigated it when everyone would be present.

Xiao Min was present there, and the princ.i.p.al knew who he was. "Mr. Xiao Min, we have to get Lu Lijun here."

Xiao Min nodded, "I will get him here tomorrow as for now he has gone to the hospital to see his father."

The princ.i.p.al agreed to it. "Hmm, anyway school is over so we can handle it tomorrow." The princ.i.p.al looked at the other two boys and instructed, "Both of you, get your parents here tomorrow."

Nodding both left, while the princ.i.p.al asked Xiao Min, "Who is Lu Lijun's guardian now after Mr. Lu Qiang?"

"Mrs. Lu Qiang," Xiao Min replied.

"Make sure to get the guardian here too."

Nodding, Xiao Min left too.

Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun reached the hospital. Jiang Yuyan was not talking to Lu Lijun at all, even when they stepped out of the car and got into the elevator. They reached the room where Ning Jiahui was already present along with the elders.

Seeing Lu Lijun, Lu Jinhai smiled as he said, "My son is here. Come here."

Lu Lijun went to his father, "How are you, father?"

"After seeing you, I am feeling even better," Lu Jinhai replied but suddenly spoke, "Even my younger son is here but the elder one still didn't show up. Is he that busy?" He asked, looking at Jiang Yuyan.

No one knew how to answer as the colors on their faces faded away but Lu Lijun remained unaffected as he said, "Father, the game you wished to play, I have it now. Get well soon so we can play it together."

"Oh, you got it. Now I need to ask for discharge soon." Looking at his wife, Lu Jinhai instructed, "Ask the doctor when can I go home?"

Lu Lijun successfully diverted his father's attention, and others gave out a sigh of relief. Not being able to answer Lu Jinhai all the time whenever he asked about Lu Qiang was making them nervous thinking till when they can avoid it and what will happen when they will tell him.

"We will discharge uncle in the next few days," Jiang Yang said as he came to the room.

Lu Jinhai had just woken up. Though he could talk normally and could understand what was going around, his body had a few problems that the doctor needed to look into. Jiang Yang signaled his sister to follow him and she felt worried.

"Is there anything serious?" Jiang Yuyan asked.

"I didn't tell you this before because I didn't want to raise all of your hopes. Uncle was awake a few days back, the day you came to see him."

"Huh?"

"After you left, there was a movement but as he woke up after a month of sleep, his vision and his motor activity were not stable. We treated him for a few days and informed you all once he could talk and recognize us all."

"I understand."
