The meeting with the mayor took a few hours, Alex have a lot of task prepared, the mayor was very supportive, with the right "motivation" of course. The mayor a.s.semble some of his staff to be brief by Alex. For the first 2000 workers, Alex planned for them to be builders so he requires all to be male with a minimum age requirement of 18 years old. All will be provided with 5 times of their normal salary, but the job will be ma.s.sive, there will be minimum break and they will need to be willing to stay onsite, all food and lodgings will be provided. Alex also require a few hundred farmer to plow the field, it will be best if Alex can prepare the farm right away. Next is group of mechanics and engineers, Alex need a least 50 people, he offer them a year salary in advance if they can start right away.

Lastly Alex give the mayor a list of names, there are 50 name in this list, 10 of them are being underline as important, to find the right person, there are simple description of each person physical characteristic. The task is to find detail information about the name in the list, their location and current activity. When he make this list, somehow he lost in thought for a few seconds, this list of names are the Bali locals that he close with in his past life, each of the person in the list at the end meet their unfortunate demise, this time Alex plan to change their fate as well.

Another day has pa.s.sed, its now day 6, he only have 24 days left to prepare. This morning the The Bay city suddenly become more crowded, Alex team of 200 worker and their 300 families a total of 500 people already arrived in Bay City.

Alex gather a group of people for a breakfast meeting in the villa's hall. The villa is currently still running as a service hotel, there are 30 workers still working here, Alex decide to keep their job, especially the kitchen staff, he plan to added many more people to the kitchen. The plan is to involve the families of his worker to fill the quota. This morning for breakfast, the group are having; porridge, fried rice, fried chicken, sausages, toast and cereals. its actually an ordinary hotel breakfast, but he knows in a few months, pople will kill each other just to sit in this kind of table.

Currently in this table, there are his managers and his brother Hendrik, Alex gives his brother a task to coordinate between his team and the mayor office. He then brief the team about the development of 2 location, one in the villa an the other up north. with the data provided by the mayor office, Alex already chart out the second location. Some of these area still own by the goverment, so with enough "insentive" they can start moving right away.

Alex start talking to his managers about the recruitments of 2000 plus workers, then he talk with nina about the number of supplies ready and the one still on the way. Alex plan to move just 1/10 of the supplies to this location.. while the rest will be send to the second location. although all of the vehicles and the boats will still be sent here. When he was about to hand out more task, suddenly he realized the confusion in the face of his managers.

All the worker who already arrive here in Bali all commited to follow Alex works in his new projects. But this is the first time they learn some of the detail of his plan.. the ma.s.sive recruitment, the choice of location, the supplies prepared.. this makes them really worried.

"I know this plan might be confusing for you all, currently i can only say that this development will be the most important work we will ever do, i hope you can trust me. i will explain about it later."

Alex then continue handing out task, Rina will be incharge on profiling all workers and their families, she will also need to note the one with supervising experience.

Eka, one of his project manager will be incharge of renovating the villa, building parameters around the hill, setting up supply tents and turning the villa hall into a command center. Alex also handing out detail task for him to organize the mechanics and engineers.

After handingout the task, Alex took Tony the construction manager and the two other project managers together with a few local workers for a trip upnorth. There are also a few goverment worker set up by the mayor to help him. Alex recognize one of them, his name is Benny, the mayor right hand man and his favorite a.s.sistant. Alex recognize him in the past life, he was quite known in the first year of the plague. but never been heard again later, he probably died quiet early.

Its time to go to the next location, Alex bring with him a big bag full off diving equipment and climbing gear. He put this equipment in one of the cars, All 4 cars are driving to the designated location. It was actually only 18 km away from Bay city, but because of the rough terrain, the trip took them more than 2 hours.
