THE CEO's LOVE 12 Trouble Looming I

At the Four Wheels, inside a conference room everyone was sitting with a grim physiognomy.

The manager was sweating profusely as he tried to loosen his tie.

The result of the newest car was leaked right under his nose and watch as different opinions popped up, unknown people were busy giving their stupid ideas.

This must be the end of the world for him as a new car brand has emerged and was trying to hog the spotlight—their idea stolen from a mere company that doesn't even have up to fifty employees.

The idea of the new car was only known by the shareholders and the manager but still everything was leaked not even a single idea was spared.

But the CEO was calm and collected. Everyone was waiting patiently for his opinion or maybe rage but none came as he hadn't said anything since the meeting began.

"Sir...sir?" Secretary Jiang called out to him with a voice only audible to the two. No reply came.

He was about to end the meeting when Zhao Lin finally spoke up. "Gather up different ideas, different from the leaked ideas. You all have a day. The meeting has been rescheduled to tomorrow morning." He said and walked out of the room with his hands in his pants pockets.

Dressed in a plaid suit and black shoes he looked irresistible.

"Sir what are we to do?" Secretary Jiang asked, panting heavily as he tried to match up to his boss who took long strides. He is a young man of twenty-nine years old but still couldn't match up to the CEO's agility.

"Make a call to Feng Riu to come to the office immediately." Zhao Lin said pus.h.i.+ng the door to his office open only to see a familiar figure seated on his chair, the chair swung around as two sparkling pupils met his, he frowned hard at the guest.

"Why are you in my office?" he questioned coldly.

"Sir, I am..."

"I am not speaking to you Yang!" Zhao Lin cut in sharply.

"Hehe, com'on man I know you missed me alot but due to your ego you aren't willing to ring and enquire about me, so I just came to give you a surprise visit." The owner of the sparkling eyes answered, giving Zhao Lin his most cutest puppy face.

"I see how free you are. Now answer me, what are you doing in my office? Who let you in?" Zhao Lin asked.

Feeling the air around him turn dangerous the young man stopped smiling. "Com'on dude I only came to say hi and maybe we could go have fun..."

"Leave now! I have no time to spare for nonent.i.ties like yourself!" Zhao Lin said in a commanding tone.

"Okay, okay. But you have to treat me to dinner and take me shopping... bro don't give me that look."

"Like I said, I don't have spare time for you. So please take your leave. Now!"

"Bro... heartless and inhumane..."

Secretary Jiang returned from making the call and heard their discussion from outside before saying. "Excuse me sir but you have to leave,"

he tried not to sound rude. The young man was none other than Li Xiangyang, one of the best doctor in the city, his boss's best friend and the acting CEO of the Four Wheels hospital. His father was a retired surgeon and was also one of the best dentist in his time.

Li Xiangyang was the fourth generation of the Li family and was best known for his flirtatious ways. He loves living a life of luxury and was the club going type, unlike his boss.

A handsome young man of 6.3ft, he has the backing of the Li corporations and with his position as a CEO in one of the Xing's subsidiaries, no one would like to offend him.

"There's an invitation from Dai Jingyao, he's opening his club this weekend and wants you to be there, we might actually attend together... what do you think?" Xiangyang smiled feigning ignorance to Zhao Lin's cold air.

Taking him as an air Zhao Lin flipped through a file he picked up from his table, a little look of worry showing on his handsome face.

Xiangyang smiled and bent to look at his face before complimenting him. "You still look so handsome...or should I say cute?"

"It's only dog or cat that the word *cute* should be used for...not a human like myself." Zhao Lin smirked and watched as the smile on Xiangyang face disappeared.

"You could at least use the word 'thank you' dummy." Xiangyang said with obvious anger.

Secretary Jiang watched as his boss smile grew wider and thought to himself, 'he sure is my boss... handsome and young with his irresistible features.' He let out a sigh of relief but maybe he was too loud as he was discovered by the two youngsters as they both turned to him.

"Sir, Li Xiangyang... the CEO doesn't have time to entertain and..."

"You are throwing me out?" Xiangyang made an indication of pointing to himself and then at the door.

"No sir. No way would i dare..."

"So?"

"Ok." Zhao Lin answered, seeing his secretary unsteady statement.

"Yes!!! I will give you a call soon, make sure you are available or I will..." He threatened Zhao as he used his thumb to show how he was going to slit his throat open.

He shook his head at Xiangyang foolish act, "I'm not going shopping with you dumbo..."

"I know that's a thing for the ladies." Xiangyang said and tapped his shoe on the marbled floor before exiting the office with a broad smile hanging on his face. 'Dai Jing wouldn't have been able to convince him.'
