Even though Qin Yu did not say anything, Number 327 somehow felt that he looked slightly depressed.

Though her steps were light, Qin Yu still heard them. He turned around and looked at her with a smile. “Little Seven, come here.”

He reached out and caught Number 327 who leaped onto the roof.

He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly.

“It’s the first time I’ve come here. I did not know that that clan was hiding such a powerful Heavenly World. However, for some reason, this place somehow feels familiar to me, as if I’ve been here before, but it also feels like it was just a dream I had.”

Number 327 said quietly, “Sect Master Qin, it must all be in your head. Only people from my clan can enter this place. Sect Master Qin, you are the only person that I know of who has broken this exception.”

Qin Yu nodded, “I know, that’s why it feels strange.” After thinking for a while, he continued, “Little Seven, can you take me on a trip around Blue Dragon Mountains?”

Number 327 looked like she was put in a tough spot.

Qin Yu said, “I know that the clan leader said previously that we are not allowed to move around, but it should be fine if you bring me around the public areas.”

Number 327 paused for a few seconds before she nodded, “Yes, let’s go.”

She turned around and started to lead the way.

“Blue Dragon Mountains is the manifestation of heaven and earth fate, and it has a spiritual consciousness. To show our respect towards it, our clan does not fly around in the sky unless there is an emergency,” Number 327 explained.

Qin Yu could see that she was slightly nervous, “Will there be a lot of trouble if I’m out and about like this?”

Number 327 said, “Clan Leader only said not to let you walk around casually; as long as we do not go to any secret locations, it should be fine.”

She laughed and added, “I’m just a bit nervous because it’s the first time I have not followed the Clan Leader’s orders.”

Perhaps because she said what was troubling her in her heart, she now looked much more relaxed.

After approximately an hour had pa.s.sed, Number 327 and Qin Yu arrived outside a small courtyard.

The scale and standard was a notch below the courtyard that Qin Yu was staying at.

Number 327 said, “Sect Master, this is where I stay.” She walked up, pushed the door open, and invited Qin Yu to step inside. Her face was slightly flushed and she looked a bit nervous once again.

The courtyard was not big, but it was very clean, and there were also a few traces that showed that this was a home that belonged to a girl.

For example, there was a wind chime hanging above the walkway, and a few paper cutouts pasted to the windows. There were even a few cl.u.s.ters of bright flowers. They were in full bloom, and the courtyard was filled with their fragrance!

To be frank, it was not very in line with Number 327’s personality. She did not seem like someone who would plant such bright flowers.

Feeling Qin Yu’s shock, Number 327 bit her lip and said, “I normally stay here alone, and it feels really lonely and deserted sometimes, so I planted these flowers to make this place feel more lively.”

Qin Yu laughed and nodded, “It’s very normal for girls to like planting flowers. Your place looks rather nice.” He clapped his hands and asked, “Can you give me two of your flowers? I want to take them back to plant in my own garden. After seeing your place, I somehow feel like my own place looks really deserted now.”

Number 327 smiled, “Sure.”

She started to pluck some flowers.

He could tell that the flower garden was personally tended to by Number 327, because she looked very skilful in the way she handled her plants.

After getting her permission, Qin Yu walked around in her courtyard leisurely. He did not enter her house and only walked outside.

However, he could see that this place was clearly occupied by only one person. When he thought of what Number 327 told him earlier, he could feel the loneliness in her heart.

There was some activity and he could hear some words being exchanged, so Qin Yu turned around and went back. 

There were a few young men in the courtyard along with Number 327.

Now that they saw Qin Yu, they frowned slightly and suspicion formed on their faces.

“Number 327, we did not know you would come back today. I brought my friends here for a spin in advance; sorry to disturb you.”

One of them, who was a cultivator from that clan, looked at Qin Yu and said, “Sect Master Qin, even though you are a part of our clan now, Blue Dragon Mountains involve my clan’s foundations. I hope you avoid committing any taboos to prevent any accidents from happening in the future which may harm our relations.h.i.+p.”

When he finished speaking, he cupped his hands and left with the other people.

Qin Yu asked, “What happened?”

Number 327 shook her head, “Nothing much.”

Qin Yu nodded and looked at his surroundings, “You’ve stayed here for so long and now you suddenly have to give this place up to someone; it is normal to have a hard time parting with it.”

Number 327 knew that Qin Yu had heard the conversation earlier. She was silent for a few moments before saying, “I do feel slightly reluctant to part with it, but it’s okay.”

Qin Yu laughed. “Don’t be nervous, I am not going to cause a conflict with your clan because of this. However, since this courtyard is no longer yours anymore, there is no need to leave anything behind for him.”

He pointed at the flowers in the garden and said, “I’ll help you take all of these away.”

Number 327 felt relief in her heart, and as she looked at Qin Yu, she felt incomparably at peace.

“Okay.”

She nodded her head and did not say anything much after that.

The flowers in the garden, the wind chime above the walkway, the paper cutouts pasted on the window…they were all removed as Qin Yu walked past them.

Number 327 did not say anything, but the things that Qin Yu took away were all things that she had made personally.

This made her feel slightly weird in her heart.

At the entrance of her house, Qin Yu stopped and smiled, “It’s not convenient for me to enter your house; you should clean it up by yourself.”

Number 327’s face reddened slightly. It was still a girl’s house after all. Even if she was a powerful cultivator, there were some things that were private to her.

She glared at Qin Yu before pus.h.i.+ng the door and entering. She then slammed the door with a loud bang.

A smile formed on Qin Yu’s face. This was the first time that Number 327 showed such emotion to him.

Suddenly, his heart started to race a bit.

This had nothing to do with love between a man and a woman. It was purely a delight and relief that came after getting closer to someone.

Qin Yu returned to the courtyard. He stared at the sky and was silent.

The one who spoke was precisely one of the elders from that clan who he had met before, and those cultivators that were here earlier were standing behind him.

Since they came so quickly, evidently, these people had immediately sent word after they left.

Qin Yu said, “I did not enter that clan’s secret locations, I was just bored and had nothing to do, so I asked Number 327 to bring me around. She had no choice, so she brought me to the courtyard she stayed in. This has nothing to do with Number 327.”

That clan’s elder was expressionless. “Even if it is as Sect Master Qin said, she is still in the wrong. You are a servant of our clan and you are not familiar with Blue Dragon Mountains’ rules, so I can overlook it, but Number 327 has to be punished.”

Qin Yu suddenly realized that this was an opportunity that he could not miss out on to investigate further into Number 327’s matters.

He narrowed his eyes and stepped forward. “And what if I do not allow you to?”

That clan’s elder scoffed, “Sect Master Qin, even though you are serving our clan, it is best if you do not interfere in my clan’s internal affairs.

“Someone, take down Number 327 and bring her back to receive punishment!”

Qin Yu waved his sleeve.
