Chapter 1808 – Eternal Sea

Barbarian Clan s.h.i.+ps sailed across the Eternal Sea, fleeing into the Desolate World to escape from the human cultivators. 

As the current Barbarian King, going to the other side of the ocean was literally feeding himself to the wolves. If his ident.i.ty was found out, he would definitely die!

But now, he had no choice since he wanted to cultivate the Incense Great Dao.

Qin Yu looked determined. All was fair in this world and if he wanted to gain something, he had to lose something. 

The little blue lamp said, “I can help you hide your ident.i.ty. However, the human cultivators on the other side of the ocean are very strong. They take a very different cultivation route from the Barbarians and Desolate Clan. Their senses are especially sharp and I can’t help you all the time.”

Amidst his soft laughter, there was calmness and confidence.

There must be a reason why the human cultivators could defeat the flouris.h.i.+ng Barbarian Clan back then.

Floor Master stepped out of it and waved a sleeve. The clouds spread and covered the both of them. 

“Though I am the master of Thirteenth Floor, I cannot control everyone’s thoughts. Your Majesty still has to be careful when you come in order to prevent incidents.”

Qin Yu looked calm, “I believe that as long as you are here, no one in Thirteenth Floor will dare to act rashly.”

Floor Master looked at him seriously, “You left and returned. It is most likely not to flatter me right?”

Qin Yu said, “I have something that I need your help with.”

“Your Majesty, I think I need to remind you that we are on opposite sides. We are only where we are now because of our needs.” He spoke in a cold voice without any emotion, “You had better understand this. We are not friends!”

He spoke in an unfriendly manner but Qin Yu did not care, “Floor Master, you are right. But now the problem is that although I have obtained the method to cultivate Incense Great Dao, I cannot do it. The only possible way is for me to go to the other side of the Eternal Sea to try.”

Floor Master’s expression s.h.i.+fted, “You are going to the other side of the ocean?” He spoke with a strange tone.

The look he was giving Qin Yu seemed to be asking, can’t you just live peacefully? Why are you trying to commit suicide!

Qin Yu was very strong now and was almost unrivalled other than against Emperor Qin. Floor Master had to admit this. After all, Qin Yu was someone who had entered the Incense Great Dao path. Even in White Jade Capital, there were not many who had done so.

But even if that was the case, going across the ocean was like seeking death to Floor Master.

The human cultivators could already kill the Barbarian Clan back then. They must be extremely powerful now!

“I am sure you know this and I am not trying to scare you. Please consider once more before making a decision.”

Floor Master looked calm on the surface and did not seemed to be moved. This was normal. If he was easily shaken because of a few words, he would be too weak. 

After all, the Floor Master of Thirteenth Floor was one of the most powerful people around. He might not be as strong as Emperor Qin, but he definitely had many powerful skills. It was not just because he had White Jade Capital as his backing that he could force Emperor Qin to put up with him.

“Your Majesty, you speak very well. I have to admit that you make sense.” Floor Master said slowly and there was a glimmer in his eyes, “However, I will still decline answering you. This impacts my human cultivators and it is not something I can compromise on!

“Your Majesty, please leave!”

Floor Master disappeared.

An invisible dispelling force surrounded Qin Yu, causing him to frown slightly – Floor Master’s reaction was slightly emotional. Though he said those words to reject Qin Yu, it seemed as if he was saying it for someone else to hear…or it was for himself to hear!

Qin Yu’s eyes lit up and he gave up on resisting the dispelling force. He allowed himself to be pushed out. 

The s.p.a.ce in front of him twisted and Qin Yu appeared a few thousand miles away from Thirteenth Floor. He took a step back to stabilize himself. He then looked down and there was a hint of a smile on his face. 

A jade slip was half buried in soil. He grabbed and the jade slip flew into his hands. He sent his senses into it. 

A moment later, Qin Yu applied a bit of pressure and the jade slip disintegrated into powder. There was a thoughtful and serious look in his eyes. 

The human cultivators’ system…

White Jade Capital was behind Thirteenth Floor. 

And White Jade Capital was created by human cultivators. It was the first time that Qin Yu found out that it was not just one building but there were nine of them built to suppress the human clan’s fate. 

Where the Desolate World was, there was one White Jade Capital. Because of the existence of the Eternal Sea, the human cultivators were slightly apprehensive and did not have the courage to get rid of the Barbarian Clan. 

Otherwise, with the drastic difference in powers, the power of any White Jade Capital would be enough to wipe out the Barbarian Clan. 

Taking a deep breath, he let out a heavy breath and suppressed his emotions. Qin Yu looked very serious. He suddenly thought of the nine Blazing Suns that the little blue lamp mentioned. There were also coincidentally nine White Jade Capitals made by the Human Clan. 

Was there some connection?

If his guesses were wrong, it was fine. But if it was accurate…the powers of the human cultivators were probably a lot greater than he could imagine. 

It was like they had some sort of connection with the nine Blazing Suns. 

Qin Yu thought for a moment before saying softly, “Little blue lamp.”

“I know what you are thinking but it is most likely not the case…” it paused before continuing, “Blazing Sun sits high above and s.h.i.+nes on the entire world. Everything is under its light and no one can go against it.”

Qin Yu thought and said, “But how do you explain your existence? How can the Blazing Sun break so easily?”

Little blue lamp fell silent as if thinking about what Qin Yu just said. 

After a long while, it spoke again, “There is only one possibility.”

Qin Yu’s eyes lit up, “Other Blazing Suns did something!”

“That’s right.” The little blue lamp said, “After you enter the human cultivators’ system, if it is possible, try to get close to another White Jade Capital. Maybe I can try to find out the truth.”

Qin Yu rubbed his face and chuckled bitterly, “I will try my best…White Jade Capital. Haha! If it’s not needed, I really don’t want to get close. It is too dangerous.”

Little Blue Lamp said, “Let’s adjust as we go.”

Its voice faded. 

Qin Yu chuckled bitterly. Though the little blue lamp had denied Qin Yu’s suspicions and guessed that it was the other Blazing Suns that took action and caused the ‘breaking’, its final warning seemed to suggest something else.

The Ancestral Court reacted and endless energy in the Starry Heavenly World gathered to form an illusion of the mighty Barbarian King. 

The power surged in all directions, seeming to look down on everything!

Amidst the Starry Heavenly World, numerous barbarians rushed forwards to kneel, a heated look on their faces.

They could sense that after the world restriction shattered, they had become stronger and they respected and acknowledged Qin Yu even more. The most direct change was the power of the incense had increased a fold. 

This made Qin Yu realize that other than the three methods from earlier, there was another way to speed up his cultivation of the Incense Great Dao. 

The more sincere his believers were, the more incense power he could gain. 

With a thought, the illusion of the Barbarian King that Qin Yu was controlling spoke and its voice travelled across the entire Starry Heavenly World. 

“I have subdued both the ancient people and the Demon Clan. They will help us fight against Great Qin!

“Thirteenth Floor will also stop any attacks against the Barbarian Clan and remain neutral!”

To get the support of both the ancient people and the Demon Clan meant that the Barbarian Clan’s strength had greatly increased. 

But compared to this, Thirteenth Floor’s position was more important. 

They did not need to do anything. Thirteenth Floor’s power and position was great enough to impact the world. Many of those that wanted the Barbarian Clan to die would have to reconsider.

And all these were because of His Majesty, Barbarian King. This would undoubtedly help the barbarians who were fighting and give them some s.p.a.ce to breathe.

The shamans that had gathered here were now gone, spread out across the Barbarian Clan to fight. 

Great Shaman Mengshan remained. He was monitoring the situation and was ready for the Barbarian King’s questions. 

“Greetings Your Majesty!”

He greeted respectfully, “The whole Barbarian Clan will know what you have done for them. They will chant your name and do everything you want.”

Qin Yu said, “Mengshan, this is all I can do. I still need you to help with the war against the other countries.”

He seemed to think before clenching his fist and the Ancestral Court’s scepter appeared in his hands. 

“In order to speed up the cultivation of Incense Great Dao, I will cross the Eternal Sea and search for an opportunity amongst the human cultivators.

“In the meantime, you will control the Ancestral Court. I am giving you permission. You have to control the situation no matter what. Don’t disappoint me!”

Great Shaman Mengshan stiffened before falling to a kneel, “Yes Your Majesty!” He took the scepter with both hands but did not get up, “Your Majesty, I am pleading with you to change your mind and not put yourself in danger.

“The human cultivators…are too powerful. This is the conclusion that I have come to through trying to find things out here and there. The human cultivators’ system is not something that the Barbarian Clan can deal with. I don’t know why they are not trying their best to get rid of us – if they were, we would have been wiped out a long time ago!

“Crossing the sea is too dangerous. If anything happens, the Barbarian Clan will have no hope!”

Qin Yu waved his hands, “I have already made up my mind. You don’t have to persuade me.”

Speeding up the cultivation of the Incense Great Dao and lighting it as soon as possible was the only way to survive. 

If not, death would come sooner or later. Qin Yu could not give up!

Great Shaman Mengshan chuckled bitterly, “Your Majesty, please take care. Our clan cannot pay the price if we lose you!”

“Mmhm, I know.” Qin Yu stood up, “What do you know about the Eternal Sea? After preparing, I will go.”

Great Shaman Mengshan said, “With regards to the Eternal Sea, Fire Shaman knows best. Back then, he once entered Eternal Sea to kill a human cultivator.”

Qin Yu’s eyes lit up, “Very good, ask Fire Shaman to come over.”

“Yes Your Majesty!”

Great Shaman Mengshan turned to leave. He soon returned with Fire Shaman. 

“Greetings Your Majesty!” He greeted respectfully.

Qin Yu said, “Fire SHaman, tell me everything you know about the Eternal Sea. Do not leave anything out.”

“Yes!”

Fire Shaman said respectfully. He was silent for a while before recalling everything he knew. 

A simple conclusion was – the Eternal Sea was an indestructible moat!

It seemed like just an endless sea, but only after entering would one realize that it could be very small but it could also be endlessly big. 

As he said this, Fire Shaman looked scared, “Back then, when I fought with the human cultivator, I got lost in the Eternal Sea and almost died. I only escaped because I was lucky.”

Qin Yu’s eyes flickered, “Is the Eternal Sea very dangerous?”

Fire Shaman nodded, “Yes. There are many creatures in the Eternal Sea that do not exist in this world and all of them are extremely powerful! Back then, I met a huge turtle that was a few thousand miles big. Its roar was like thunder and it could release multiple lightning strikes that could tear apart the sky.

“If this turtle did not meet a silver-colored giant bird and start fighting, I would not have been able to escape.”

He looked anxious, “Your Majesty, if you enter the Eternal Sea, you have to be extremely careful. That is a place without logic and reason.”

Qin Yu spoke in a low voice, “A place without logic and reason? I will have to take a look!”
