Feng Xiao Qing gave An Ran Jie her full attention because she felt curious about the reason An Ran Jie hated this woman.

"If she was only a trainee under me and we didn't have a deep relations.h.i.+p before, I probably wouldn't feel hurt that much or even feel too betrayed by Yun Yi," An Ran Jie started her explanation, while she stared at nothing, probably reminiscing her past.

"Oh... so what was your relations.h.i.+p with her?" Feng Xiao Qing asked. Then, she tried to lift up the atmosphere by asking, "Your lover?"

An Ran Jie choked out and couldn't believe what she had just heard! Her sadness turned into disbelief, after that, it turned into a fit of anger. She asked while pouting, "What are you talking about?" She really wanted to throttle the woman in front of her. How could her imagination run so wild?

"Childhood best friend!!!" An Ran couldn't help but answer in a loud voice.

"Ah... best friend..." Feng Xiao Qing nodded in understanding. She liked looking at An Ran Jie who lost her calm demeanor in front of her, she looked so cute! Then, she added mischievously, "Okay... okay... An Ran Jie... My bad... Not your lover! I get it!"

An Ran Jie could only roll her eyes, but she knew that Feng Xiao Qing was trying to cheer her up. It seemed like she would have a hard time dealing with this woman in the long term! She always behaved childishly and mischievously sometimes. She really wanted to ask the big boss, where did he find this annoying yet talented woman?!

However, An Ran also didn't know when the enemy started to approach Yun Yi and when she started to have a change of heart. It took her by surprise when Yun Yi suddenly dropped the bomb by saying that she would change agency and manager. She couldn't believe it at first.

An Ran tried to search and talk to Yun Yi for a few times, but the latter refused to meet her or even give her an explanation. She could only give up on their friends.h.i.+p!

Feng Xiao Qing was quite surprised by this revelation. "An Ran Jie ah~ Do you think she has a good reason to do that?"

"What kind of good reason ah~? She betrayed me and that's a fact!" An Ran denied vehemently.

Feng Xiao Qing nodded in agreement. "The matter that she betrayed you indeed the truth. Have you ever thought that she was probably being threatened by someone or something like that?" Feng Xiao Qing was able to come up with this a.s.sumption because she knew how sly Lu Ming Cheng was. Threatening Yun Yi? He was capable of doing this!

"I have thought about it too, however, why didn't she explain it to me about it? Or... at least, gave me a hint?" An Ran Jie said weakly.

Feng Xiao Qing knew that there was a possibility that Yun Yi didn't dare to involve An Ran Jie in her matter, however... this was all just a mere a.s.sumption. She didn't want to lift up An Ran Jie's hope and made her disappointed later if Yun Yi betrayed them out of her own will. That was why she decided not to say anything else.

Feng Xiao Qing shook her head. "I don't know... I'm not Yun Yi so I can't answer your question too."

An Ran Jie ma.s.saged her forehead and knew that she was being weak for a moment. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath --- just to calm herself down.

"So... what do you want me to do?" Feng Xiao Qing asked. "Is this the reason that you push me so hard?" Feng Xiao Qing glared at An Ran Jie.

Her glare didn't work on An Ran Jie who leisurely answered her, "Yes... Of course, what I want is for you to beat Yun Yi on her own game in the shortest time possible."

"Wait... wait... wait... Before that, can you give me a short introduction to Yun Yi's past achievements? I only know that she's the best in her field, but I've never known about her achievement, so I don't know what to expect," Feng Xiao Qing asked.

"Of course," An Ran answered. This time, she grinned mischievously which made Feng Xiao Qing shudder.
