Lu Yi Feng was saved from answering because they already arrived at his floor. Without a second thought, he quickly motioned for Xiao Xi Xi to follow him. Xiao Xi Xi was distracted when she saw that they had arrived at their floor. She was in awe because of the s.p.a.cious corridor and the lavish decoration.

The highest floor's rooms were all bought by Lu Yi Feng. He broke down the walls and turned the two rooms into one. They could only open the apartment door with his fingerprints and Lin San's. He trusted Lin San, hence his privilege to open his apartment. After all, he perfectly knew Lin San's personalities and backgrounds. He was a clean and honest man.

Lu Yi Feng let Xiao Xi Xi follow him and he even slowed down his pace without realizing it, when he saw Xiao Xi Xi keep looking around in amazement. When he opened his apartment door, the usually dark place was bright --- it seemed like Lin San and Feng Xiao Qing had arrived. He somehow felt warmth when he was welcomed by the bright light. It was the opposite of the desolate feeling that he felt whenever he was welcomed by his dark and lonely apartment before this.

He smelt something nice coming from the kitchen that he had never used before. Xiao Xi Xi quickly jumped to the source of the smell and excitedly told Lu Yi Feng, "Mommy must have been cooking!"

"How do you know?" Lu Yi Feng asked.

"This is the smell of Mommy's signature dish and Uncle... you will love it! It's very delicious!" Xiao Xi Xi boasted about her mommy's cooking skill.

Lu Yi Feng had to admit that the smell was very enticing. There was a big living room when the apartment door was opened. It took the bigger part of the apartment because he had a few shelves of books. He loves reading and he spent his time in the living room just to read or watch TV. He also had a few shelves for his DVD collection. However, he didn't have any cartoon collections and he probably should change that.

After pa.s.sing by the huge living room, they had to go up a few steps and it would lead them to an intersection. To the left, it would lead them to the kitchen. To the right, there would be a corridor that had two vacant bedrooms. If they went straight ahead, there would be stairs to the second floor of the apartment and it was where usually Lu Yi Feng sleep --- his private bedroom.

Lu Yi Feng didn't feel like giving Xiao Xi Xi a tour, because he felt hungry after smelling the fragrant foods. Xiao Xi Xi seemed to be hungry too. Her stomach was growling and she didn't even think of looking around inside the apartment. She was more interested in the lovely smell and quickly ran into the kitchen.

When they arrived at the kitchen, they saw Feng Xiao Qing was busy preparing their dinner and Lin San was sitting on the dining table. Lin San looked at Feng Xiao Qing in awe because she moved so fluidly when cooking and she looked like an expert!

Lu Yi Feng felt like he went into the wrong apartment. Why did he feel like his private apartment had been totally intruded? They didn't have the decency to ask him whether it was okay to use his kitchen! When he was going to open his mouth and scold Lin San for being so impudent, Xiao Xi Xi's voice stopped him.

Fortunately for Lin San, Xiao Xi Xi yelled to greet her mommy, "Mommy... I'm home!" Otherwise, he would be the receiving end of Lu Yi Feng's scolding.

Feng Xiao Qing was fiddling her clothes in nervousness. After all, she didn't ask for his permission first. She already obtruded his private s.p.a.ce and she felt a bit guilty about it.
