The shareholders of the Sun Corporation needed to be pacified and a.s.sured for the time being, and that had made the newest CEO and Sun Feiyan busy, disregarding to visit the old man at the hospital.

Because of the recent tragedy that befell on the Sun family, the credibility of Sun Mingai and Sun Feiyan was now being questioned by the shareholders. She raised a brow at that. The Sun estate had never become her home.

“What happened?” she asked irritably.

“He’s gravely ill, Miss. He just woke up an hour ago and asked for you to come.” The secretary seemed to be having a hard time to enunciate the purpose of his call.

Lu Xinyi rubbed her forehead. She wasn’t interested in abiding the old man’s request at all. Not after she found out what he did to Tang Lingfei and her mother. Tang Lingfei’s confession had destroyed any feelings or sympathy she had left for him.

As if the private secretary expected her to decline, she tried to coax her in another way.

“Miss Xinyi, whatever he did in the past, he’s still your grandfather…”
