“Shen Yi, you’re too heavy.” Lu Xinyi pushed him up but his body was larger and heavier against her smaller and thinner frame.

Seeing that their lady boss was struggling to help their Boss Yi, Yan Cai stepped forward and took Shen Yi’s arm around his shoulder and pulled his boss away from the shattered gla.s.ses, making him sat at the nearest seat.

“What happened in here?” he questioned Duan Yong who was still crying. Her hands on her throat.

Xuan Ling’s eyes widened when she saw her superior crying on the floor. She quickly helped Duan Yong back on her feet but she wasn’t able to take her boss away.

Lu Xinyi wasn’t in a good mood. She spent gruesome hours of shopping and had waited for her husband for another hour. She felt odd. Something didn’t seem to be right, not at all.

No, she didn’t think that Shen Yi got an affair with Duan Yong. When she saw him strangling Duan Yong on the wall, she knew then that the woman tried to do an underhanded trick against her husband.

Lu Xinyi stared at her husband, concern etched on her face. If Duan Yong did something to Shen Yi, she will finish the job for her husband and kill the b.i.t.c.h herself. The show they presented yesterday should be enough for any sane woman to back away once she saw the man she was pinning for already taken.

It seemed that this b.i.t.c.h wasn’t using her head then.

“I’m asking you, Miss Duan. What happened here?!” Yan Cai’s authoritative voice made Duan Yong and Xuan Ling tremble in fear.

“I.. I…” Duan Yong whimpered in Xuan Ling’s arms. “I’m sorry.”

“We don’t understand what you’re saying, Miss Duan. You have to tell us everything that happened or would you rather be questioned by the police?” Lu Xinyi was reaching the limit of her patience.

“You! You have nothing to do with this!” Duan Yong sent a quick glare in Lu Xinyi’s direction. “I don’t need to tell you anything!”

As soon as her words left her mouth, Shen Yi lifted his head and glared ferociously to Duan Yong. The murderous intent in his eyes was still apparent.

“Fine! Fine! I will confess.” Duan Yong panicked. Shen Yi had really tried to kill her earlier and she was really afraid right now. She wanted his attention but not like this!

“I drugged him,” she confessed. “I put something on his drink during the celebration earlier and when he decided to retire, I followed him here.”

“What did you say?” Lu Xinyi couldn’t believe that this woman will stoop that low just to get Shen Yi’s attention.

Her blood started to boil in Duan Yong’s confession. She could hear her own heartbeat pounded in her ears. She wasn’t jealous but sure was a vindictive person. She’d never hated anyone without a reason and what she felt right now exceeded the disappointment and hatred she felt for Meng Jiao.

What was with these women these days? Preying on men that were already taken. She swore some women don’t know how to respect boundaries.

“I tried to seduce him but I guess Boss Yi realized what happened to him.” Duan Yong started to cry again. “He was already struggling in pain when I arrived and then he attacked me.”

The drug she used had made Shen Yi suffered from a severe headache and dizziness. It made him lost his focus on things around him. It would be easy for someone else to take advantage of his situation but he fought to rein his self-control. He refused to fall in such lowly schemes.

“If I wanted to kill myself, I’d climb your ego and jump to your IQ. How dare you do this to me? I would’ve killed you right here, right now if they didn’t intervene.” Shen Yi hissed in pain.

Lu Xinyi tried to get hold of herself but her clenched fists on her side was an indication that she’d reach her limit. She closed her eyes and sighed.

Opening her eyes, she glared at Duan Yong as she sauntered towards her. Xuan Ling stepped back in fear, knowing that Duan Yong had to face the wrath of Lu Xinyi. She cannot offend her, it was clear she wasn’t just another woman in Boss Yi’s eyes.

For someone who got a small stature, Lu Xinyi surely got a surprising strength in her. She then caught Duan Yong’s collar before she fallen backward and gave her another loud slap on the other side of her face.

“Good, you stupid b.i.t.c.h! I’m glad to see that you didn’t let your education get in the way of your stupidity.” Lu Xinyi sneered, her hand found and yanked Duan Yong’s hair to make the woman look at her face to face.
