Kaze made Wyn sill everything he knew before killing him and taking great pleasure in it on Joanos' behalf.

"So, Joanos was stabbed, and Lord Tasar is being held captive by Lady Vanya. Lord Kendel has infiltrated the estate with his men, and there is still a war headed this way...Does that about sums everything up?" Mika held her head as she felt a migraine coming.

"Yes..." Kaze was worried, though he was the oldest and most experienced one here, he couldn't stop the lingering feeling of dread in his heart. It was disrupting his thoughts, with enemies gathering on all sides they needed to stay calm and come up with a plan, but he couldn't think pa.s.s Joanos' face.

"Kaze...Kaze...Kaze!" Mika has been calling Kaze's name for while now with no response.

"Y-Yes!" Kaze looked up to face two pairs of questioning eyes.

"Kaze...?" He was slacking, he knew his duties as a personal guard, he even swore an oath but knowing that Joanos might still be alive and needed his help made him hesitate, which wasn't a good thing.

"Kaze...we need to go see about Lord Tasar's situation and save him if possible. Do you agree?"

Yes, that was the most logical thing to do. If Lord Tasar is alive, we need to save him for him to take back control of the Udava clan, but he couldn't say it! He wanted to go the opposite way to Joanos.

*Sigh*

"Why aren't you saying anything...?" Mika could see the thoughts going through Kaze's mind right now, he has never been more of an open book than he is right now.

"You want to save Joanos, do you?"

"WHAT!?" Saavi didn't know what was wrong with Kaze, but the fact that he wants to go the opposite way, that will give them no benefits shows that he is not thinking accurately.

"Yes..." Kaze hung his head in shame, he is the young miss' personal guard, not Joanos' but he felt he would regret it if he does not go.

"Kaze! Are you out of your mind!? Lord Mano and Lady Lyra chose you to protect and safeguard young miss' life, right now you are doing the reverse!" Saavi never thought this would happen after everything young miss has already been put through during this trip, now she has to be abandon by her own personal guard!

"Go."

"Young Miss...!"

"Saavi, I trust my guard as I trust you. Kaze says he must go, then he must go." This was the first time Mika was using her authority as the master to make Saavi back down.

Seeing Mika wasn't giving her any room to argue, Saavi turned away from the two.

"Kaze...we don't know how many of Lord Kendel's men are out there. Also, they are dress as the Udava's soldiers, we must be careful."

"Miss is this alright?" Kaze can feel Saavi's angry glare from across the room.

"If you continue to hesitate, you'll be no good to either one of us. Go settle your heart first, then return to me."

"En."

"Good, now where is that map we made of the Udava's estate?"

Back at Lord Tasar's office.

Tasar was still standing in the middle of his office as Jinx ran havoc throughout his body. It has already been a couple of hours! How long does this poison last!? Tasar thought.

Staring at the woman across the room who caused all this, have Tasar picturing all the ways he would love to kill her.

"What is wrong, Tasar? Don't like me sitting in your chair....?" Vanya laughed in response to his scowl.

Looking at the time, Vanya surmised that Kendel and Kerala should be arriving soon. With her brother here, she'll be able to take full control of the Udava clan. If Joanos hasn't messed up her original plans, she would have never realized how flawed her intentions were, Why have the small fish when she can have the big one?

Grabbing a pen and papers, Vanya proceeded to write out Tasar's and Joanos' wills.

Once they kill Tasar, and his wives and children happen to die in the war, Lixiss be the only one left to inherit the clan. And with these ''wills'', she can shut up all opposers.

*Knock* Knock*

Putting away the pen and papers, Vanya ran to the door. Opening it a crack, she saw a Udava guard standing in front of Kendel and Kerala.

"Lady Vanya, these two are seeking an audience with Lord Tasar." Seeing that he was making his way to walk into the room, Vany blocked his entrance.

"Lady Vanya...?"

"They may enter, Tasar has asked for them." Skeptical, the guard tried to see around Vanya's body and into the room.

"What do you think you are doing!? My husband has a lot on his plate right now, he doesn't have time for your foolishness. Move out of the way and let those two in. Tasar has been waiting so long for their arrivals."

"Yes, Lady Vanya." The guard moved out of the way, giving a clear pathway for Lord Kendel and Kerala to enter the room.

When Kerala first saw Lord Tasar in the room, she was terrified, but as she and Lord Kendel got closer, they could tell he couldn't move.

"What did you do?" Kendel could feel the hatred coming from Tasar's eyes, but he didn't make a move.

"I gave him Jinx." Vanya walked back to the desk to finish writing out the wills.

"Oh? Then when does it wear off?" Kendel's eyes flashed with viciousness. Never would he be able to take one Tasar by himself, but with a crutch like Jinx, he would be able to have some fun.

"In another hour."

"Perfect. That's more than enough time." Cracking his nickels, Kendel released his gifts.
