Kaze was amazed, this was the first time he has ever seen a Fae with shapes.h.i.+fting abilities. Though he has heard many stories, they lack the actual reality of seeing it in person.

When Kerala's form revealed it's self, she felt exposed to everyone's eyes.

"Lady Vanya, what should we do?" Kerala was trying to hold Lord Tasar's form as long as possible, but her powers were subpar to what a real shapes.h.i.+fter could do.

"Shh! Just be ready when I say so..." Vanya told Kerala the plan before picking herself off the floor.

Looking around, she checked one last time to see if Tasar's body was in the room.

"He not here, so don't waste your time." Kaze knew what Lady Vanya was looking for. He figures Lord Tasar must have started his plans to move against her, leaving her no choice but to double back to the office.

"Where is he? I'm a.s.suming he's alive" Lady Vanya looked at the dark figure standing before her.

"Your a.s.sumption would be correct," Kaze said, completely ignoring her question.

The room fell silent as Lady Vanya and Kaze stared at one another. Vanya knew this man was not going to let her leave this room alive. If her brother was still out there, she needed to get to him quick before Tasar did.

Tension grew as everyone waited for the other side to make the first move.

When Kaze the familiar stirring of energy in the air, he pulled his sword out and ran towards Vanya.

As Vanya was in engaging Kaze, she yelled for Kerala to make her move.

"Go now!"

Kerala sprinted towards Mika that was sleeping on the couch. Saavi, who stayed hidden underneath the desk, came from out of her hiding spot to smash into Kerala before she could reach Mika.

"Ah!"

"Ugh!..."

Both women fell on top of one another.

Hearing the commotion behind her, Vanya was distracted for a moment, leaving her open for Kaze to attack.

"Ahh!" Kaze was able to deal a deadly blow to Vanya's midsection before she could notice the danger.

Holding her stomach and putting some distance between herself and Kaze, Vanya looked at Kerala who was trapped underneath Saavi's body and cursed.

Where did this b***ch come from!?

Seeing her plans failing once again, Vanya was about to go out of her mind.

"Why don't you give up already? Either you die by his hands or Lord Tasar's..." Joanos said as he stood in between Vanya and Kerala. He was almost a step too late on reaching Kerala when he saw Saavi tackle her to the ground.

Blowing out a sigh of relief, he turned to see Kaze deal a b.l.o.o.d.y blow to Vanya. With the situation back under control, Joanos could only shake his head at Vanya's devious tactics.

"Give up!?... Hahaha!" Vanya laughed crazily at Joanos.

Give up? How could she give up? She had to be everyone's puppet from the time she was a child, just because she wasn't as beautiful or powerful as her siblings. Now, after planning for years her ascension to eminence, these brats come and take everything away! Give up?... Over her dead body!

"Why don't you give up? Your family is all gone, but you're still young...How about I let you live, and you leave this clan and your family lands to me?..." Kaze, Joanos, and Saavi stared at Vanya as she talked as if she had the upper hand.

"There is no getting through to you..." Joanos shook his head and turned away from Vanya.

The minute he did though, Vanya raised her hand and threw a whip at Joanos' back. Before Kaze could alert him, the whip coiled around Joanos' body tightly.

"Aaah!" Vanya screamed as Kaze cut off her raised arm.

"Lady Vanya!" Kerala started to struggle underneath Saavi's body.

"Hold her! Saavi, don't let her get away!" Kaze yelled when he saw Saavi was having a difficult time with Kerala.

"En, I know." Saavi gritted her teeth and put everything she could to stop Kerala's movements. But with Kerala being older and taller, it was proving challenging.

Kaze rushed towards Joanos' side, to try and help get the whip off his body. After a few minutes of seeing Joanos' scrambling with the cord, he knew it was enchanted. If they didn't get it off of Joanos soon, it will continue tightening until it cuts him into pieces.

"Release the enchantment now!" Kaze held his sword in front of Vanya's pallid face.

"Haha...sure, but you have to let me and my maid go..cough*...choose..." Vanya was bleeding out profusely from her wounds, this would be her last chance to get away.

Kaze knew the best option would be for him to kill her now, and have one less enemy coming after them, but he was hesitant.

"Kill her!" Saavi yelled. She couldn't believe Kaze wasn't once again putting their young miss last! She was tempted to go over there and kill Lady Vanya and Kaze herself if it wasn't for her holding back Kerala, she would!

"Argh!..." Joanos couldn't believe he once again fell into Vanya's traps. Was he so useless that he couldn't even protect himself?

"Kill her, Kaze...!" Joanos' shout out against the pain of the whip biting into his skin.

"You should hurry and choose..." Vanya said as she felt the darkness closing in on her.

"Yes, you should. But before you do, let me add a couple of new choices you can choose from." Everyone turned to look at the new voice in the room, to see Lord Kendel and his men standing in the doorway.

F**K! Kaze cursed himself for his incompetence.
