Lord Kendel wasn't able the get in contact with any one of the men he sent out into the Udava clan. The only ones that were left were the ones he left behind at the back gate.

Feeling like this was a wasted trip, Kendel decided to capitalize on being inside the Udava clan's estate to make up for losing so many men.

On the way to Tasar' office, Kendel and his men came in contact with some of Tasar's secret guards who were sent to hunt them down.

After many confrontations and many men lost, Kendel could finally understand what happened to the soldiers he sent out.

"d.a.m.nit Tasar! You dare to hunt me down!" After fighting off the last batch of Udava guards, Kendel was left with only ten men, including himself.

Not stopping until he reached Tasar's office, Kendel pushed the last of his men to press on, claiming riches will be in their pockets shortly.

Arriving at the office, Kendel heard voices from within. Identifying one, Kendel knew his sister, Vanya was in the room.

Testing the n.o.b and finding it locked, Kendel smiled at the foolish action. From the time his gifts awakened, locks, bolt, fastener, clasp, etc. would open under his touch and this door n.o.b was no exception.

With one twist, the door open. Kendel entered and took in the scene in front of him.

Vanya was on the floor bleeding, Kerala was underneath a young woman. Another one was laying on the couch, looking as if she is sleeping and Joanos was bound by a whip while a man stood in the middle of it all with a sword in his hand.

Well, well, well seems like he arrived just in time for the fun.

Face with a new enemy in the room, Kaze knew they have lost the upper hand.

Kendel walked deeper into the room as his men fan out around him.

"Shall we start?..." Kendel said as he closed and locked the door behind him.

With the situation out of their control, Kaze, Saavi, and Joanos all released their gifts, hoping to change to the guaranteed outcome.

Joanos, who was in the gravest situation, threw caution to the wind and bought all his power to the forefront. Directing all his energy on generating cuts in the cord, Joanos had to divide his attention between dodging attacks from two men and getting out of the whip.

Kaze attacked the minute Kendel closed the door, taking on three of Kendel's men. Wanting to eliminate as many as he could, so the others would have a better chance at surviving.

Quickly killing off one with a slash to the neck, the next two prove to be more challenging as they saw he wasn't weak and were more cautious when confronting him.

d.a.m.nit! This is taking too long!

Just as that thought ran through his mind, he heard Saavi scream.

Saavi saw four men coming her way, and with Kerala underneath her, she was sorely outnumbered. Looking around her, she picked up the closest object and hit Kerala over the head with it, knocking her out. Placing herself between the men coming towards her and Mika's sleeping body on the couch, Saavi let her gift take control for the first time.

The rush of untamed energy flowed through Saavi's body, causing her to scream. With all her power unleashed at once, it became too much for Saavi to control and she blanked out. Though her body was still awake, Saavi's consciousness was gone.

The men who were approaching Saavi thought she was so scared she didn't know what to do, so she just stood there too afraid to do anything. Laughing amongst themselves, the gleam in their eyes showed what they planned on doing once they got hold of Saavi and Mika.

Splitting into two groups, two men went to get Mika, and two went to grab Saavi. However, when Saavi felt a touch of a hand, her head snapped up and she looked into the two men's eyes.

"Kill them." Saavi's pointed at the two men at Mika's side. Unguarded, the men quickly fell to Saavi's command.

Pulling out their weapons, they swung at the backs of their comrades. With no armor deterring their attacks their comrades were killed in an instant, painting Mika and the couch red.

Turning around they awaited Saavi's next orders.

Turning to Kendel who was helping Vanya off the floor, whether subconsciously or by instinct, she pointed to them.

"Kill them." And the two men went off the complete her command as Saavi followed from behind.

Going to Vanya's side, Kendel looking down at his sister's sorry state.

"What happened to you?" Though he has never liked any of his siblings, over the years Vanya had grown on him. To see her like this upset him a little.

"Help me....we need to leave..." Vanya held out her still attached arm for Kendel to take.

Taking out some honey, he fed it to her before wrapping her stump arm up to stop the bleeding.

"Tasar...still...alive..." Vanya said as she tried to catch her breath.

"I know..." What else could be the reason for him and his men being hunted? "...but I'm not leaving without something in return." Remembering the wills and deeds, Kendel turned around to get from the desk only to come face to face with his men's swords.

"What the...!?"
