"En, me."

Chasing the cookie with a cup of tea, Mika waited until Ailwin composed of himself before she continued their conversation.

"So, where were we...? Oh, yes! You want to trade, right?"

Ailwin couldn't believe he would meet this demon girl again for the third time! Wasn't it bad enough she made a fool out of me at the eatery and the weapon shop, and now she wants to steal my general?

What did I do to deserve this brat in my life!?

"Prince Ailwin...Prince Ailwin? *sigh* Ailwin!"

"What!"

"The trade?" Mika sat in her seat like a young lady, sipping the rest of her tea as if she didn't just argue over a cookie with him.

Wanting to get away from this girl as fast as possible, Ailwin no longer put any thought behind the trade.

"How much do you want?"

"How much?"

"Money! How much money do you want!?"

"Oooh, you want to buy me off? Well, how much does General Ginwenys mean to you?"

So agitated Ailwin didn't stop to think before he spoke.

"He's priceless..." As soon as the words left his mouth, he knew he was going to live to regret them.

"...he's priceless? Then I really can't set a number, now can I? Hahaha..." Mika laughed, enjoying his annoyed grimace when he stepped on his own foot.

"How about this.... you help me with my dear uncle, and I'll call us even." Mika gave Ailwin a bright smile, appearing like an innocent young lady coming into her own....but he'll be d.a.m.n if he believes it.

"My men are not to be used for your personal vendettas." He wanted to agree to her proposal but knew this girl has the mind of professional scam artist.

"Okay."

"We don't kill innocents."

"Okay."

"They only listen to my orders."

"Okay."

"And we won't do any underhanded schemes."

"......okay." Mika pause for a while before agreeing to his last request, which put Ailwin on alert.

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

"You paused before answering."

"No, I didn't."

"Yes, you did. You went.....okay."

"Yes, I was taking a breath before answering."

"...."

"...."

"Taking a breath?"

"Yes."

Ailwin paced around the tent, why did it feel like if he agrees to her suggestion, he'll never be rid of her.

"I mean it, no underhanded schemes."

"...okay."

"You did it again!"

"What! I'm not allowed to breath?" Mika turned away from Ailwin's keen eyes and poured herself another cup of tea. With the prince's army at her disposal, she had the perfect plan to handle that dear uncle of hers.

"Look, do we had an agreement or what?" Mika held out her hand.

"...fine." Ailwin's big callous hand engulfed Mika's soft tiny one as they shook.

Ailwin could feel small spots of callous on her hand, but for the most part, they were soft. Being that she is a young miss of a clan, he expected it to be this way, but why is it difficult for him to let go?

Mika stood in front of Ailwin, wondering when he was going to let go of her hand, it was starting to become sweaty.

*cough**cough*

"Are we done?"

"Hmm?...oh, yes, yes." Ailwin released Mika's hand, walking away from the awkward atmosphere he made.

"Ailwin?"

"Yes."

"I need to borrow a wristband."

"Okay, I'll see you get one." Calling for his guards outside, he had them escort Mika to a tent and ordered them to find an extra wristband for her to use.

"Thank you, Prince Ailwin." Mika curtsy and left his tent.

Meanwhile back at the Vlacca clan, Lord Kendel was going out of his mind looking for Mika.

"Have they found her yet?" Kendel yelled at Ply for the fifth time within the last hour.

*Sigh* "No, sir. We still searching."

"I can't believe this! Just when I made up my mind to wring that little brat's neck, she goes missing!" Kendel swept his hand across his desk, clearing it of all its items.

"Lord Kendel, please calm down." Ply begged as he knew he was going to be the one to clean up the mess.

"How can I calm down!? I just needed that little brat to write a letter, after that I don't care if she goes missing or drops dead! I want my money!" Kendel picked up a chair and threw it across the room.

Seeing that there was going to be no stopping his Lord's anger, Ply left the room to help with the search.

By the time Kaze and Jonas came back to the camp, the message Mika sent to Saavi's wristband came in.

"About time you came back...I've received a message from Young Miss." Saavi held up her wristband to show Kaze.

"What does it say?" Hearing that Mika was able to send out a message means, they know she is still alive. Relief flooded his body as he ran to Saavi's side.

"It's a recording, and it has nothing to do with Lord Kendel or the Vlacca clan."

"....play it." Everyone gathered close to hear the recording over the evening wind.

"I, Mikaela Amara, bet Breaden Gilwenys that..."

After listening to the whole recording, all three of them looked at each other confused.

"Miss Mikaela sent this...?" Kaze asked, thinking someone might be messing with them.

"No, it came from someone else's wristband, but her identification stamp is at the bottom of the message....and that is her voice in the recording." Saavi pa.s.sed over her wristband to show Mika's stamp.

"Miss Mikaela definitely sent this..." Kaze had memorized Mika's stamp, which is a series of numbers organized into Amara's family clan crest.

"En...." Saavi agreed, knowing her mistress' stamp anywhere. Plus DNA is needed to use id stamps.

"I think we need to rethink my plan..." Kaze said, pa.s.sing Saavi back her band. "If miss Mikaela sent this to you, she wanted to tell you something. We have to figure out what it is before we reach the Vlacca clan." Saavi and Jonas nodded in agreement.

"Jonas, do you know of any Braeden Ginwenys being inside the Vlacca clan?" Saavi thought maybe her young miss wanted her to find the ident.i.ty of this Braeden Ginwenys.

"No...but then again I hadn't spent much time dealing with the Vlacca clan members."

"Braeden Ginwenys?....Braeden Ginwenys....where have I heard of that name before?"

"You know!?" Saavi looked at Kaze in shock.

"The name is familiar, but I can't place where I know it from..."

"Think harder!... d.a.m.n you!" Saavi yelled.

"Saavi!" Jonas tugged her arm to stop her from saying anything further.

Kaze ignored Saavi's emotional outburst and kept thinking where he knows this name from.

Minutes went pa.s.sed of complete silence before Kaze abruptly stood up.

"I know..!"

"Who is he? Is he one of Lord Kendel's men?...."Saavi bombarded Kaze with questions after being denied from asking for so long.

"No. He's one of Prince Ailwin's men..."

"Prince Ailwin's...Why would Prince Ailwin's man be here?" Jonas didn't understand how Miss Mikaela could possibly meet such a man.

"Prince Ailwin?" Saavi asked.

"Yes, he's the fifth prince of our kingdom," Kaze answered.

"Fifth prince...?" Vague memories surfaced in Saavi's mind. Trying to get a clearer picture Saavi closed her eyes, soon memories of Mika licking the cake, a sword, and prince being made out to be a perv...appeared in front of her eyes.

Looking at her wristband, Saavi listened to the recording again. When it stopped, Saavi could guess what her young miss was up to and shook her head in shame and pity.

Young Miss, when will you leave that poor prince alone...
