Having gone through a time were she was ridiculed, despised and bullied. Being apart of the popular group in the school, had Mika giggling in delight.

More student from the blue dorm began to walk over to their little group to introduce themselves. Friends and rivals soon showed themselves. When the last of the dorm groups in the courtyard left and only the blue group was left, that was when Nylian decided to move out. He didn't say a word, just started walking in one direction. 

About fifteen minutes into the walk the scenery started to change. Where there was once big academy buildings, now opened up to s.p.a.cious landscapes with trees and flowery bushes, a giant lake, and mountains in the far distances.

The males students all smiled as the female students' eyes sparkled with glee.

Ten minutes later, Nylian bought them to a royal blue building, more like a mansion.

"As I'm sure most of you have noticed, you are the high rankers of the new students...Congratulations." Nylian waited until the cheers and high fives stopped to speak again.

"From here on out you will be the bar for the new students to reach. At any time they can challenge you for your spot or because of testing, you can lose your spot. Those of you who stay on top will enjoy these luxuries..." Nylian pointing to the mansion behind him.

"As well as free food, provided by the academy's cafeteria. Full access to the school's library, and other amenities are included, even the ones at the other dorm buildings and cla.s.srooms. All your materials for school will be taken care of, and you will receive a discount at any shoppe in the school's district." Nylian finished by showing a school card for shopping.

"Wow."

"Yes, my parents nagging paid off...!"

"Ha, this is how it should be. I was scare in the courtyard, I thought I entered the wrong academy..."

"If we get all this, I wonder what the other students get...heh"

"I'm definitely staying here, I don't want to even think about the other dorms..."

"Quiet, there still are some things I need to go over before you guys can go to your rooms. The rules that I stated in the courtyard still exist for you guys, along with the school's rules in the handbook... Also, as there is a hierarchy in the school, there is a hierarchy in the dorms. You all should do well in learning it fast...that is all." And like that he walked off and left the group alone.

Everyone stood froze for a second, before rus.h.i.+ng to the doors.

"Hey! Don't push..."

"I should be first..."

"Open the door then!"

"Ugh!"

The front doors were pushed opened by a stampede of new students. Once inside, they came face to face with what luxury really looks like.

Everything was state-of-the-art technology, the fixtures and furnitures came from the finest shoppes around and the s.p.a.ce its self felt like they were walking into a gymnasium.

The first thing Mika saw when she entered was a wide staircase leading to the upper floors. Standing in mid-staircase landing was a female student.

"h.e.l.lo, I'm Leena. I will be showing you to your rooms, this way please." Leena walked off expecting them to follow.

Everyone climbed the stairs while their heads spun around, taking in all sights around them.

"Okay, Jonas and Hycis. This is your room." When their names were called they both looked at each other and smiled. Happy that they would be at least rooming with someone they know a little, made sharing a room easier.

"Okay next is..." Bit by bit Leena read off of the room a.s.signments.

Finally there was only four female students left, Mika hope Saavi would be her roommate. 

"Saavi and...." Mika prayed Leena would say her name, "Celaena."

Leena turned to the last two students, "Obviously, you two will be roommates. This is your room." It was next room to Saavi's room, at the end of the corridor.

Mika looked at the girl to her left, before she enter the room behind her.

Well, maybe it won't be so bad...

"I need first pick of beds, I'm a very sensitive sleeper. The slightest thing can upset my sleep." 

Nope, this is going to be h.e.l.l. I should have known better than to be optimistic.

Not waiting for introductions nor Mika's agreement, her roommate ran to the beds to test them both out.

"You know I think I prefer this one. That one feels b.u.mpy, so you can have it."

"Really! Thank so much, we wouldn't want you to have a b.u.mpy bed now would we..." Mika's words dipped with sarcasm.

"That so sweet of you, and your welcome."

Mika stared at the girl who absolutely didn't understand sarcasm, as happily unpacked her things and felt like she just punched herself in the face.
