When Lula got back to school she thought everything would go back to how it was, but she soon realized that her good days were behind her. 

The money her father would usually sent for her to spend at her leisure was gone. He paid for her school fees and that was it, she received no extra money for shopping. 

Her pockets where empty; and with her pockets being empty, her life at school drastically changed. Lula was never a student to study, she made her way in school by making connections with everyone she knew, and in order to make those connections she needed money. 

The students here used social gathering and wealth to gain favors. Social gathering call for expensive clothing and gifts to be giving to their host. While showing off your wealth made other students cater to your every need.

Right now, she could no longer spend like her friends, which made it difficult for her to hang out with them. Already rumors were slowly making their way around the school, about how she and her mother were kicked out of the Amara clan.

So, when she heard her teacher gush about Mika's performance during her test and her name in the BLUE dorm's registry, Lula thought it was about time she take her down a notch.

Mika could see what her ex-sister was thinking obviously she thought she could easily manipulate the new students into doing her dirty work for her. However, Mika wasn't going to fall for it.

"Hey! Did you hear what I said...!?" Mika looked at the girl who stood before her, "...I want to challenge you for your spot in the BLUE Dor-"

"Your excuse." Mika turned around and searched for her name on the bulletin board. The girl never thought that Mika would refuse her challenge. 

"Hey! I deserve to be in the BLUE dorm!"

"Not my problem." Mika walked away with Saavi and the rest behind her.

"Don't you dare leave...you..you coward!" Mika didn't paid one mind to the girl's insults and just kept on walking. 

Snubbed by Mika, the girl huffed her way back toward Lula. Before the girl could say anything, Lula spoke.

"See, what did I tell you? You can challenge any of the ranking BLUE dormers for their spots. They are weak, but would they be foolish enough to fight someone stronger than they are..."

Lula's words were had the girl believing Mika's was indeed a coward.

"Then what should I do? That spot should be mine!" The girl and Mika's roommate were obviously friends who wanted to room together as they held each other hands in comfort.

"Find a way to force her and any other BLUE dormer to a challenge. That is the only way to get their spot." Lula patted the girl on her shoulder before leaving the two girls behind. 

Her words were said loud and clear, that the surrounding new students could hear. Lula didn't care if she made trouble for the other new students as long as she can make Mika's life a living h.e.l.l, she was happy.

And living h.e.l.l it was, Mika was bugged by day by her challenger and tormented at night by her roommate. However, she persisted and refused every time the bet was given.

Her torture became the joke among the students in the BLUE dorm. Many couldn't understand why she just didn't battle the girl in the first place. They were the elite among the new students, how could they run from and fight. Others on the other hand, some understood Mika's reasons for rejecting. If she accepts and loses, she will be losing a lot more than just a fight. 

As the days wore on, the students in the BLUE dorm who thought Mika should agree to the challenge began to despised her. They felt she was weak and wasn't living up to the standards of the elite.

In the next couple of weeks, many students started to join in on tormenting Mika inside the dorm. 

They would help her roommate destroy her items in her room, dirty her uniform, and even trip and push her whenever they walked pa.s.sed. Mika final straw, was when someone threw a shoe at her in the cafeteria and it landed in her food.

Mika slammed her tray down on the table before walking away to wash from the food from her uniform. Saavi made to leave with her, but Jonas held her back. 

"Let her cool down a bit..." Saavi nodded her head and sat back down. This was the first time she and Mika has ever attended school. She really doesn't know what to say to her to make her feel better.

Their table was silent, even Celaena who seem to always be on b.u.t.ting heads with Mika was more quiet than usually.

"You think she'll be all right...?" Hycis asked. He knew Jonas and Saavi knew Mika's better than he and Celaena did.
