In the Dean's office, Eolith, Nylian and Valindra sat waiting for Kamryn to show up. Nylian had already gotten Valindra to spill the beans on who gave her the Gem of Wraith to the Dean. Now they were just waiting for Kamryn's side to the story.

The door open and Kamryn stepped in, "Please take a seat, Miss Kamry-"

"Princess Kamryn...her t.i.tle has changed, Dean Eolith." Thallan's voice entered the room before he did. 

When the Dean and everyone else looked up to see Prince Thallan's tall figure walking in behind his wife, the whole mood in the room tensed.

"Prince Thallan, of course... Princess Kamryn, if you'll please..."

The Dean gave Nylian a subtle glance before ordering his a.s.sistant to get two more chairs.

Reading Dean Eolith's concealed message, Nylian sent Ailwin an SOS considering Prince Thallan's sudden arrival at the Dean's office.

When Thallan saw the sparkling gem, his interest was piqued.

Looking back at the gem, he had the sudden urge to take it. Just when the craving got to be too much, Dean Eolith slam the box shut; putting it away from wandering eyes and sticking hands.

The Gem of Wraith is a dark artifact from the Blauq Country. Made from the tortured and revengeful souls, the gem allows the user to extract the soul of any individual. Locking it away inside the gem to add to the other sad souls already locked within. 

However, that is not the only ability of the Gem of Wraith. When the soul is taken from it's body, n.o.body would be able to tell. The person's body will go on living and acting as usually, all the while being a puppet to user of the artifact.

Yet, all good things do come with a price. The more the user, abuses the powers of the gem, the more the user becomes a puppet of the stone.

Many people have sacrifice their lives to get their hands on one of those gems. Thallan didn't think he was one of those people, but looking at the box that is right in front of him...he started to question that thought.

"Dean Eolith, I have no idea what the is?" Kamryn voice brought Thallan back from his thoughts.

"Lair! You were the one who gave me that gem!" Valindra had known what the gem was, but she didn't know that the gem begins to control it's user with every use. 

It wasn't until Nylian told her, that she realized that Kamryn and Lula was out to make her their scapegoat.

"Dean Eolith, she was the one who gave it to me, telling me to use it on Mikaela during our match!" 

"Why would I do something like that to my sister?" Kamryn sad confused expression had Valindra worried that no one would believe her.

"I would like to know the answer to that as well...Princess Kamryn?" Eolith asked as Ailwin walked in when Kamryn was asking Valindra this question.

"Brother! What are you doing here?" Ailwin looked over at Thallan as he stood from he seat to welcome him into the room with a hug.

"I'm here as a judge for the compet.i.tion...are you here for your...wife?" They both knew Thallan is not be the type of husband to come to the rescue of his wife.

"...En." Thallan smiled.

Nylian thought just having Prince in the office was hard enough, but adding Ailwin in had the friction in the room jumping to another level.

"Princes, Princess and Miss Valindra... Regardless of t.i.tle, this artifact is forbidden on school grounds. It showing up in my academy is inexcusable! I will get to the bottom of this right now." Releasing his own aura, Dean Eolith silenced everyone in the room and loosen it's tension.

"Princess Kamryn, you are not fooling anyone in this room with your sisterly act. The six students who were set to fight Miss Mikaela in the match, said that you were the one to approach them with the idea." Dean Eolith put out six signed doc.u.ments and placed them in front of Kamryn to see.

The doc.u.ments gave a detail account of what Kamryn offered each student to fight Mikaela.

"This...this is slander! Dean Eolith you can't possibly think of believing these students over me, right?" Kamryn couldn't believe the Dean moved so fast to gather evidence against her.

Thallan took the signed doc.u.ments off of the Dean's desk and read them as Kamryn pleaded her case.

"Princess...six students have said the same thing. That you asked them to fight against-"

"Who is this Mikaela?" Thallan asked, cutting Dean Eolith off.

Hearing Mika's name coming out of Thallan's mouth had Ailwin tensing up.

"She is this bi**h's sister!" Valindra shouted while pointing at Kamryn.

"Careful, little fledgling...that is my wife you are pointing at..." Thallan stared at Valindra's little index finger with distain. He didn't care about Kamryn per say, he just didn't like people thinking they could talk to royals in any way they wanted.

With Thallan looking her way, Valindra felt the strength leaving her legs. Collapsing into her seat and avoided his stare.
