"Dean, why don't we stop all this and my wife will apologize to the academy for her hand in this..." Thallan threw the doc.u.ments back onto the Dean's desk.

"Yes, of course... Sweetie, it's time that we go." Thallan smiled and held his hand out for the Dean to shake. However, Eolith had no intention of taking it. 

Shrugging his shoulders, Thallan turned to his brother and patted him on the shoulder on his way out of the door with Kamryn following behind.

"Oh, and where is that student...um...Mikaela, was it?" Thallan stared at Ailwin's face looking for any reaction to the name.

"Why?" Ailwin asked looking at Thallan.

"Well, I just thought we should give her a proper apology for my wife's actions today.... Where is she?" He turned to look at Dean Eolith.

"She's-"

"Princess Kamryn, can write her an apology letter..." Ailwin interrupted Eolith as he was about to answer.

Thallan smiled when he got the reaction he was looking for and left the room.

 Ailwin knew he gave himself and Mika away. He just couldn't control his reaction when Mika's name fell from Thallan's lips again.

"Dean Eolith, what is going to happen to me?" Valindra finally found her voice after Thallan left the room.

"You will be escorted out of the school and your enrollment here is gone forever." Eolith had a raging headache coming on, he just wanted everyone out of his office.

"...but...that's not fair! It was her fault!"

"Miss Valindra, although I agree that the Princess had a hand in giving you this stone," He placed his hand on top of the box, "that doesn't excused the fact that you chose to use it."

"That...I..."

"I have already notified your family, they will be here shortly to collect you..." Eolith nodded towards Nylian.

Nylian called two of his council members from outside to take Valindra off the school's premises and wait with her until her family comes to fetch her.

Once Valindra's situation was handled, Eolith called Nylian back into his office.

"Nylian..."

"Yes, Dean Eolith?"

"Here..."

"Sir...? Isn't this for the custodians to do?" Nylian was confused as why he was the one holding a booklet long list of thing that needed to be fix around the school.

"Miss Mikaela, put in a complaint against you. She said she went to you for help and you ignore her... Can you tell me why you didn't find it strange that one student had six compet.i.tors...?" 

"No, sir....I will complete all these task perfectly."

"By the end of the term."

"My mother." Kamryn held her hand to her face to ease to pain of the slap.

"Good..." Thallan hauled Kamryn off the ground and dusted off her clothes.

"I just found out that you were not the one I should have taken, so don't make yourself useless to me. I tend to get rid of all things that are useless to me…okay?"

"Yes" Kamryn didn't understand fully what he was saying, but she complied anyway.

"Good girl..." Thallan caressed her head as tears began to fall from her eyes, "Now...I think it's time we pay a visit to my mother-in-law."
