"Okay, got it." Celaena agreed.

"Fourth, don't speak to anyone outside of us four, Kaze, General Gilwenys and Prince Ailwin. Even if they are dressed in Shadow Wolves army attire. Is this clear?" Nylian naturally agreed. He knew better than anyone that there might be spies in the army.

Hycis and Celaena agreed because they didn't know anyone else other than the people on this shuttle with them.

Seeing everyone agreeing to her demands, Mika blew out a deep breath. She was glad that no one decided to test her patience right now.

Just as they finished their discussion, the navigation alarms went off. 

They all looked outside the windows to see trees all around them.

"They're not at the city yet, why are we landing?" Nylian questioned.

"We are an unknown air carrier, to the army that stationed outside the city gates that is grounds for them to shoot us down….and even if they didn't, what excuse would you give them for why we are here?" Mika gave a sharp look Nylian's way.

"We will land on the other side, just outside of the city and hike the rest of the way in. Right now, we still have the cover of the early morning to hide my shuttle from their sights."

In the quiet early morning just before the sun was about to raise in the sky, Mika was able to land the shuttle 100 meters away from the Shadow Wolves' camp.

Dress in their disguises, Celaena, Hycis, Nylian and Mikaela left the carrier after turning on the camouflage ON and hiding it under piles of branches and leaves.

"How are we to get inside if we can't use the City's gate?" Nylian questioned.

"A city never has just one entrance and exit….besides, I have memorized the Rowood City's blueprints." Mika replied while trying to find the right direction.

Nylian paused mid-step, taken aback by Mika's planning and skills. He never thought a girl nearly a foot shorter than him and younger would be so well prepared. 

"Come on, let's not waste any time...and Nylian don't forget my gear." Mika pointed to the trunk she took out from the shuttle.

Looking back at the mid-size trunk, Nylian felt his arms and leg giving out already.

"Why you I have to carry your luggage?"

"Celaena is too short and Hycis doesn't have the stamina." Hycis was offended by Mika's words but since he didn't want to carry that huge trunk, he kept his mouth shut.

"So I'm being punished because the rest of your party is weak!….Why don't you carry it? You bought it." Mika took a deep breath before turning to look at Nylian.

"It was my shuttle that got us here, my piloting that flew and got us here safely. It was my smart thinking that allowed everyone the comfort of secrecy and my planning that will get us inside the city…. Can you as our senior still hold your head up high after your junior has done so much?" 

"Fine, fine, fine, I'll carry the d.a.m.n trunk…" Nylian huffed. 

Mika didn't bother with Nylian anymore and started to lead everyone out of the dense forest. They have a way to go before reaching the entry point where they could enter the city without anyone knowing.

While Mika and her party started their hike towards the city, Ailwin and Kaze were busy trying the keep Braeden and the two soldiers alive.

It's only been two days since the soldiers have been infected and so far Ailwin was in a worst situation than he was before.

Governor Kelim was gone, Braeden and the squad he brought in the city with him are in the temporary healing center and there are unknown enemies lurk inside the city. Alongside all of that, he had the looming fear that he too might have been infected.

He had sent Kaze out along with some of his soldiers to get information from the citizens in the area.

Knowing what he knows now, Ailwin only allowed them to go out this morning, he had also alerted the Shadow Wolves outside in the city of the creatures lurking around.
