Ruven and Kaze had made their way down to the cafeteria to collect food for their new masked guests when Kaze received a transmission from the soldiers posted at the front gates.

"Shk...we have another group of people asking to see the Commander." The volume on the transmitter was loud enough for Ruven to overhear it.

Another group…?  Ruven looked over at Kaze's face to see he was just as surprised as he was that more people have shown up.

"Sir…?" The soldier at the gate didn't know if he should let them in or not, he wanted Kaze to make to decision.

"Bring them in." Kaze decided. Even if these people are not citizen of the city we can't have unknown people running around the city.

About to walk off to see to the newcomers, Kaze stopped halfway out the door. He forgot about Ruven for second. 

Glancing back at the man who happens to be looking right back at him.

"Don't worry, Kaze. I can take the food to Prince Ailwin by myself. It's no problem." Ruven shooed him out the door, however Kaze's feet wouldn't move but he had no real excuse to stay.

Finally after a few moments of hesitation, he nodded his head and left. A couple steps from the door he sent a quick message to Mika's wristband.

Mika heard the ding of an incoming message.

'The Food is on its way.' 

"What is wrong?" Nylian asked, seeing Mika abruptly stand up.

"We'll have company soon…" Quickly placing her charm stones around the perimeter of the room and then two at the door, she put her mask on her face before the arrival of their visitor.

Hearing that someone was coming Hycis, Celaena and Nylain grabbed their masks from their laps and put it firmly on their faces.

Ruven watched Kaze be reluctant to have him deliver the food by himself. He waited to see what he would decide, and eventually he left the task in his hands.

"They are in room x.x.x." Were Kaze's parting words.

Once Kaze was gone from the room, the carefree smile on Ruven's face vanished. Grabbing the trays of food, he teleported himself right to the room number Kaze told him.

His steps were silent as he crept towards the door. To find out any information he could about these masked guests, Ruven planned on listening in on the conversation that was happening inside.

Mika felt when Ruven arrived at the door. Her little charms gave off a slight buzzing sensation in her body as a warning that someone was near.

*Clink* *Swish*

She opened the door just as he put his ear to it.

Standing in front of him was a person, who was at least a foot shorter than him. Surprised and caught in a weird position, Ruven's mind was trying to scramble to think of an excuse to why he is standing like this.

"Um…"

"Your two minutes late, no tip." Mika took the trays of food from his hands and shut the door in his face.

Ruven didn't get a chance to explain himself nor did he even get to step into the room as he was made out to be a delivery boy. 

Feeling slightly insulted, he wanted to knock on the door to correct her thinking, but when he made a fist with his hand he realize the girl had actually paid him with a credit.

Wh-What the!…When did she put it in my hand!?

Completely affronted by the gesture, Ruven was going to bang on the door and give that person a piece of his mind when the door opened again before he could do it.

"You-"

"You forgot my change." Mika said with impatience in her voice as she held out her hand for the change.

"Wha...you…" Ruven's mind and mouth couldn't catch up with Mika's actions and his frustration was making it hard for him to calm down.

"Sigh…I'll have to speak to Prince Ailwin about hiring dumba.s.ses," Mika said, speaking out of the side of her mouth.

"I...gave...you...too..much...money....." Mika pointed to herself then the money in his hand then at Ruven,"Ugh! You know what forget...here."

Taking the credit from his hand, she made change then gave him the correct amount before shutting the door in his face again.

Looking down at his hand then at the door then back down at his hand again. Ruven's brain went through everything that just happen again.

Motherf****…!

Feeling that he was about to lose himself to his anger, Ruven teleported himself to the building's rooftop.

"F***in' little twit!" Ruven threw the credits off the top of roof.

Shouting out a couple more obscenities to air out his frustrations, he was finally able to calm himself down.

"I can't believe I was treated like an idiot...first time in my life I have ever been called a dumba.s.s..." Pulling out a tiny bottle of polychromatic liquid, he sat down preparing to drink it when a messenger bird showed up.

"G.o.ds d.a.m.nit!" Recapping the bottle, he walked over to the bird and pulled of the stuffed letter in its pouch.

'IS HE DEAD'

Reading the letter, Ruven sighed before placing the bottle carefully back into his pocket.

Argh! I still have work to do before I can enjoy you…
