Once Braeden was securely back on his cot, Ailwin had the healers sedate him before seeing to the injured soldiers.

While Ailwin and the healers were a.s.sisting the soldiers, Mika walked over to the unconscious Ruven.

Looking around to make sure no one was watching her, Mika released some of her nanos onto his body. By nightfall they will have worked their way into his system.

"You sneaky little girl, why did you have the nanos go into his body?" Drago asked inside her head.

"Didn't you want me to make sure that these people don't find you? How else can I put a tracker on him? Plus, this little m.o.f.o is slippery." Mika answered Drago.

Mika remembered that Ruven could teleport, so using standard trackers would just be a ha.s.sle.

"En...that's right…"  Drago didn't trust the Fae anymore after a.n.a.lise died. He didn't know who had betrayed her and Calico.

With seeing the things that these Fae have been doing since then, he was glad he made the correct decision to wait for Mikaela to be born.

"Okay that should do it…" Mika put about hundred nanos into Ruven's body before stopping.

"What do we do now?"

"Of course, we wake him up."

*Pah!*

Mika delivered a fierce slap across Ruven's face. 

"Lady Minx…" Ailwin called from behind her back. "What do you think you are doing?"

"Helping… I saw that he saw unconscious, so I was trying to wake him up for you."

"By slapping him?"

"En…"

"With which hand?"

"The right one."

"You mean the one holding a piece of brick. That's the hand you slapped him with…?"

"Huh!...how did that get there?"

*Moan*

"Ugh...sha...uuhbb…" Ruven woke to feel his face in great pain.

"See, he's awake."

Ruven looked over at the two people talking above him, "Wuuu….aah...hii…"

"Sigh... I think his jaw is dislocated." Much to Ruven surprise, he was wondering why the words coming out of his mouth were just sounds when he was trying to speak.

"You sure… I'm sure he didn't have much in his brain to begin with. Maybe that's just how he talks…" Mika shrugged her shoulders and drop the brick in her hand.

Ruven's ears were working just fine, so hearing Mika's insults made him want to curse up a storm, but regrettably his jaw was dislocated, making all the words coming out of his mouth sound like sounds.

This b***ch! When I get my hands on you…!

He had to content himself with just cursing her in his heart for now.

When he tried to lift himself off the ground, but his whole body began to ache. 

"Lay down, wait until the healers can see to you." Ailwin pacified Ruven's anger, but was secretly laughing on the inside.

This girl never ceases to entertain me….

The healers were already busy with the soldiers and since they had more severe injuries, Ruven had to wait a long time to get his body taken care of.

As Ailwin had the healers move everyone to a new room due to the damage in the first room, Mika was free to gather samples of Braeden's blood off of the floor.

"Have you found anything yet?" Nylian came inside the room after watching Mika collect samples.

"I haven't checked anything yet. I'll need to a.n.a.lyze this with my equipment to really see what's the problem…."

"En...then let's go. The fast you can solve this, the better everyone will be."

"Okay…" Mika lifted up her hand for him to help her stand up, however it only made him jump back in surprise.

"What are you doing?" Mika looked at him from her crouch position. Nylian had his arms up covering his face ready to block attacks coming his way.

Taking a peek between his forearms he saw that Mika was still in a crouch position, she just wanted a helping hand to stand up.

"N-nothing." Nylian stuttered as he grabbed Mika's hand and pulled her up.

"Uh-huh…sure." Mika smiled as Nylian blushed at his embarra.s.sing mistake.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you...yet."

"What you...can't...hurt me…?" Nylian tried to sound confident, but seeing his mentor get the life beaten out of him, did a number to his frame of mind.

"Sure...sure, whatever you say."

As they were walking out of the room they b.u.mped into Kaze. 

"Ailwin wants me to guard you and ask that you lend him your servants…." 

"En." Mika relieved Nylian from helping her.

Once Nylian was on his way, Mika and Kaze headed towards her resting room.
