Honey : The Empire's Treasure 334 Blood Work 2

Mika chuckled, "What, did they try to beg their parents to let them off?"

Drago shook his head, "No, they tried to use the honey…"

"Huh?"

"When the first generation arrived here, they could only use a tenth of their power…"

A tenth of their power!, Mika was amazed.

"...not only that but they were going through the pains of being a mortal. They couldn't rationalize what was happening to them. When a.n.a.lise' trees sprouted from soil, it was the first time in so long that they had felt close to being a DemiG.o.d again…Tell me, once having a taste of that feeling, what do you think they first generation would have done?"

"...want more…" Mika whispered.

"Exactly…" Drago breathe out a heavy sigh, " a.n.a.lise had told me that there was a group of first generations long ago, who believed that the honey can give them back their statuses among the G.o.ds. They had even tried to get her to join."

"You saying that there might be a group of first generations out there purposely contaminating the honey to for fill their life long wish of being DemiG.o.ds again?"

"I think so."

"...but that's impossible, shouldn't they all be dead by now?"

"I don't know...I went dormant after a.n.a.lise's died…."

"Wait….wait….let's think this through. Is it even possible for them to become DemiG.o.ds again using the honey…?"

"I can't say for sure...but the seeds a.n.a.lise used are from the ambrosia fruit….so, maybe?"

"F**kin…Sonofab***ch...G.o.ds d.a.m.nit!" Mika held her head in her left hand while still holding Drago in her right. "Sigh….and these experiments that the King is doing…"

"I believe are them trying to accomplish this…"

"Mothefu-oh, I think the nanos have something!" Mika adruptly said in the middle of her cursing as her nanos began humming.

Saying goodbye to Drago, Mika left her mind's s.p.a.ce. Opening her eyes and taking a look at the two blood samples, Mika could see that the nanos were very lively inside.

Pouring out the contents inside the vials out, she put them under a micro scanner. 

Under the scanner, she watched as the virus in Braeden's blood sample were consuming his blood platelets. This was the only way she could describe what she was seeing.

No matter what his white blood cells did, they were no match for the virus. 

Furthermore, with the virus essentially eating the blood platelets the blood wouldn't clot, which is probably the reason for all the bad black and blue bruising on over Braeden's body.

"Sh*t!" Mika just remembered to the wounds she gave to Braeden's face.

She quickly dialed Ailwin as she continue to watch the virus at work.

"h.e.l.lo?…"

Mika was so focus on scanner she didn't hear when Ailwin answer her call.

"h.e.l.lo….Lady Minx?…" Hearing her code name, Mika remembered that she was calling Ailwin.

"Yes, Ailwin….I'm here." Mika's eyes were still focus on the scanner.

"Sigh...please answer faster me next time. You nearly gave me a heart attack...I don't need something happening to you too."

"Sorry...I got a little distracted…"

"It sounds like you are still distracted." Ailwin responded, as the healer beside him was trying to stop the bleeding on one of the cuts on Braeden's face.

"Are you still in the healer' center?"

"Yes, why?"

"Is General Gilwenys still bleeding from his self inflicted wounds…?"

"Self inflicted, Minx?….Really?" Ailwin shook his head at her words. "Sigh...Yes, he is still bleeding. The healers are trying to wrap them with gauze but the blood won't stop."

"Do they have Alave glue….that should help seal the wound shut."

On Ailwin's end it went silent for a few minutes as he was asking the healers if they had any Alave glue on them and instructed them to use it.

When he can back on the line, Mika was ordering her nanos to leave the blood sample.

"How did you know that Alave would work?" He watched as the healers let out a deep breath once they were able to close the wounds.

"I'm a.n.a.lyzing his blood…" Mika picked up Ailwin's blood sample which was under a different micro scanner.

There she watched as the virus tried to 'eat' the platelets in Ailwin's blood, but the minute they took a bite they immediately died.

"What the f**k."

"Excuse me…?"

"Not you...well actually….what the h.e.l.l is up with your blood?"

"Why? What is wrong with my blood?" Ailwin raised his voice over the call, forgetting that he was still in the healer's center.

Mika didn't bother to answer him, instead she took out some samples that she stole from the academy.

Inside the vials contain samples of viruses and bacteria they had collected over time. One by one she put a drop of each one into Ailwin's blood, and one by one his blood was able to fight each infection off.

"Minx…?" Ailwin's voice whispered over the wristband speaker. He had excused himself from the room and found a private corner to call out to her.

"I'm here…."

"What is wrong with my blood? Am I infected…?" 

"No….quite the opposite…"
