Licking the last few bits of Ruven from its teeth, the monster soon trained its eyes on Mikaela.

Pulling up its whole body onto the roof landing, the monster took slow and measured steps towards its new prey.

Mika didn't panic at the sight of the monster coming towards her, though everything about it scream dangerous.

The fact that she knows how these beast came to be, made her pity the vicious creature more than being afraid of it.

Feeling for the tools in her pocket, she hopes that her formula would have some affect on the beast. She actually bought it for Ruven, but he doesn't need it.

Aiming a needle at where she suspected the heart would be, Mika swiftly threw it.

The monster saw Mika's action but because it had lost an eye to Ruven's attacks earlier, it couldn't see what she threw.

An instant sharp pinch followed her attack, then immediately disappeared in the next second leaving the monster happy that its food didn't have as much strength as Ruven.

Less cautious now, the monster's step were more a.s.sertive as it kept walking towards her.

With Mika not moving, except for throwing the needle, the monster was keen on enjoy its easy meal. Spreading it's mouth wide open, it lower its head to scoop her into its mouth in one bite.

Halfway to having her whole body swallowed by the monster, the beast froze in place.

With its mouth opened wide over her upper body, it allowed Mika to see deep into the its throat as its hot breath rained down her body and saliva dripped on her clothes.

Oh G.o.ds! Someone needs a mint...

Making a fireball appear in her hands, Mika examined the inside of the monster's mouth and esophagus.

….and a tooth brush.

She thought as she pulled a piece of Ruven's clothes from between its teeth.

Taking out her tools, Mika swab the inside of the cheek, tongue and throat of the monster as it let out nervous grunts due to her fireball being so close to its body.

When she was done there, she bent down to walk out from out of its mouth to collect samples of its skin.

Once she finished cutting pieces of skin off, she pulled out several empty syringes. 

Using the monster's legs as leverage, she climb on top of the its back.

"Okay, this is going to hurt."

Feeling for what seems to be its spine, she injected her longest needle in between the vertebrae to get to the nerve and hopefully to the spinal cord, for some fluid.

*Grrrrr-eeech*

The pain had the monster groaning and whimpering. 

"Just a few more drops…" Mika said as she top off two vials full before pulling the needle out.

Changing syringes she gathered several samples of its blood from different areas of its body. 

By this time, the monster began s.h.i.+vering from all the pokes and draws of fluid from its body. It wanted to move, and every time it though it could, Mika would deliver another paralyzing needle into its body.

For a time it went on like this, Mika moving around its body, collecting samples as the monster could only stand there.

When Ailwin and his guards finally showed up, the sight before them left them speechless.

"Lady Minx...what are you doing?" Ailwin actually wanted to yell at her to get off that thing.

"Collecting samples…" Mika was so busy focusing on the monster, she didn't see the group of soldiers with their eyes glue to her.

"Will you be coming down any time soon."

"En…"

"When?" Ailwin edged closer to the monster, the soldiers didn't anywhere near it but Ailwin didn't want to leave Mika there by herself.

"In a minute." She just had one last thing to get from the monster, and that was it's brain.

It would be better if she could take it out while its still living yet she didn't want to be that cruel.

"Give me your knife." She ordered to one of the soldiers while holding out her hand.

"Why?"

"Because I need it." Idiot.

Though Mika didn't call the soldier that out loud, he could clearly see it written on her face.

"Commander?"

"Give it to her."

Feeling slighted by the pet.i.te masked women, plus he didn't want to get next to the monster, he decided to throw his short sword.

Seeing the intent in the man's eyes, Mika moved her body into a better position.

The short sword was thrown straight at Mika's head. Ailwin, who was standing to the side of her and monster,  was caught unaware by his soldier's action.

"Mi-" Ailwin wanted to shout out for her to duck, but before the words left his mouth, Mika reached up and caught the short sword in front of everyone.

"Got it." 

"Um-yea." Soothing his nerves, Ailwin glared back at the soldier.

"Wait until we get back."

"....sorry, sir."
