Honey : The Empire's Treasure 361 We Need To Talk

Receiving a check-in from his Captain that all was well in the skies, Ailwin treaded back to his room as the stress of the past days and the conversation he just had with Braeden, hit him hard.

When he entered his room through, it slipped his mind that he had placed Mika there.

Seeing her snuggled underneath the covers and hearing her soft snores, his feet lead him over to the bed to watch her sleep.

When he moved in a little closer to get a better look, Mika subconsciously punched out with her fist and hit him right in his family's jewels.

"Argh!" Ailwin shouted out as he fell backwards clutching his boys.

"Whwhat!? What's wrong? What happen?" Mika jumped up groggy from sleep, looking around the room.

"You punched me!" Ailwin explained from the floor.

"When?" Mika looked at him confused.

"Just now!" Ailwin yelled.

"Why?" Mika asked still confused.

"That's is something I should be asking you-Ugh!"  Ailwin tried to stand up, but it hurt too much.

"Hmph...what were you doing?" Mika stared at him.

"It's my fault that you punched me!?" Ailwin couldn't believe this brat was blaming him for her actions. It's one thing to do it to Braeden and a whole different matter to do it to him!

"Well?" Mika impatiently tapped her foot on the floor.

"I was just checking up on you while you were sleeping…"

"Oh, then that's the reason why... My body automatically protect itself against creeps."

"Creeps? You calling ME creepy...?" Ailwin pointed to himself, appalled by her words.

"Well, what do you call a person who watches you while you sleep?"

"Mika!"

"WhI can't help it, it's my body natural reaction. By the way, are you okay down there? Are they damage goods now?"

"No! They're not damage goods now!..." Ailwin struggled to get up and sit on the bed. "...you need to learn to when stop hitting people." 

"I know when to stop hitting people." Mika brushed him off.

"Oh, really? Can explain why you kept hitting Braeden then!"

"He hit me first." She explained simply.

"Mika you kept hitting him after he was down."

"....so what are you trying to say?" She huffed at him.

Ailwin looked at Mika's puffed up cheeks and the stubborn face that says she did nothing wrong, and shook his head.

"Mikaela, let's say that Saavi hit me…"

"What did you do?"

"…....."

Ailwin stop talking and stared into Mika's eyes.

"Why does it have to be that I did something?"

"....because, Saavi wouldn't just hit people for no reason...you had to have done something for her to hit you."

"Like what Mika?"

I don't know. That's why I'm asking you what you did!"

"Wait...wait...wait, let's stop for a second...I was using a hypothetical question."

"Then I was using a hypothetical answer."

"Mikaela."

"Sigh...fine, continue."

"Like I was saying…. What if Saavi hit me, am I supposed to keep hitting your friend even after she is down already?"

"Of course not... Why would you want to hurt Saavi anyway? She is so nice."

"I don't want to hurt Saavi-…" Ailwin pinched between his eyebrows, "...can you at least see where I am coming from?"

"No."

"Mika, if Saavi hit me like you did Braeden, you wouldn't be mad?"

"Yes, I would be. However, I would question what you did to make her hit you?"

"Mika, really?"

"What? Saavi is a good person." 

"...and I'm not?"

"Yea, you are." She mumbled.

"Then why would you take Saavi's words over mine…?"

"Em duh...Chicks before d.i.c.ks, Ailwin."

"Whyou know what, forget it. I'm not even going to ask…" He shook his head.

Ailwin carefully got up and made his way to the bathroom, Mika just shrug her shoulders and jumped back into bed.

Though she had gotten some sleep, her body was still aching and her stomach began to make loud noises. 

Seeing that Ailwin was in the bathroom, she thought to find some food for herself but then was a knock at the door.

Getting up she made she way to the door, she saw a soldier waiting patiently for the door to open.

Knowing that most of the soldiers had already seen her face, Mika gave up the idea of hiding.

After opening the door, standing in front of her was Ailwin's head chef with trays of food in his hands. The amazing aroma coming from the plates, had Mika's stomach grumbling.

The head chef did a double take at door then Mika, and back again.

"This is Prince Ailwin's room, right?" The head chef looked at the messy bed, the young girl standing in the Commander's clothes and heard the water running in the bathroom.

"Yes. Is that for us?" Mika pointed at the trays.

Stunned the man just nodded his head automatically.

"Good, I really worked up an appet.i.te." Taking the trays out of his hands, she then shut the door.

Coming back to himself after the door was closed in his face, the chef began to worry.

I think I saw something I shouldn't have….

Ailwin came out of the bathroom as Mika set down the trays of food on the only table in the room.

"Where did you get the food?" Ailwin was sure Mika didn't know the s.h.i.+p's layout, and she wouldn't have been able to get to the cafeteria and back before he came out of the bathroom.

"One of your soldiers delivered the food."

"Who?" He didn't remember asking for someone to deliver food to his room.

 "I don't know your soldiers by name…" Mika mumbled.

She had been skeptical too, that's why she has her nanos checking the food. When it was all clear, she dug in.

Ailwin check in with his captain and found out that he was the one to order the food to his room.

"Sir, is something wrong?" Captain asked.

"No, and thank you for the food."

Hang up, Ailwin walked towards the table and saw that nearly half the food was almost gone.

This girl…

Pulling out his chair he quickly loaded his plate with food before Mika's sneaky hands could steal the rest.

Just where does all that food go? Looking at Mika patting her bloated stomach contently, Ailwin wondered.

"The food in your army is pretty good, I notice this last time." Mika said as she yawn.

"Good food helps to keep the soldiers happy."

"En…" Finished eating, Mika got up and walked to the windows.
