Honey : The Empire's Treasure 370 Incoming 2

Mika reached Ailwin's office in record time with Braeden right behind her.

Not everyone has access to the Commander's office, but since Mikaela explained to Ailwin her talent for hacking, he had given her the access codes for his office and monitor.

"Why did you come here?" Braeden ask when he entered the room and saw her behind the desk, typing away at the monitor.

"Shhh!… Don't make me lose my concentration!" Mika complained as she was about the break into the wars.h.i.+ps' mainframes.

Using the live feed that Ailwin and Pharom have open to talk to one another, Mika piggybacked onto it to break in bypa.s.sing their defenses.

Braeden quietly moved to stand behind her when he saw the serious expression on her face.

What is she doing?

Taking a look at the screen, Braeden watched as Mika found the pa.s.scodes to the wars.h.i.+ps and gained access to their surveillance systems.

"What the h.e.l.l!? Is that inside the wars.h.i.+ps!" Braeden nearly pushed Mika out of the way trying to get a better look at the monitor.

"Ugh...get your big head out of the way!" Mika shoved Braeden's head aside.

"How were you able to do this?" He ask after moving to stand behind her again.

"I'm not going to bother explaining myself when you're not gonna understand me anyway…" Mika replied offhandedly as she went about trying to get into the Wars.h.i.+p's main control systems.

Tsk...brat, you're lucky what you're doing right now can help us…

"Try breaking into their control systems-"

"Shut up, already!" Mika snapped at Braeden, who was breathing down her neck. "Stop, acting like this was your idea. I know what I'm doing, so back up!" She pointed to another chair in the room before renewed her typing.

Braeden huffed out his grievances, but still went to sit in the chair she indicated.

Keeping an eye on the people operating the weapons on the cameras, Mika continued to break into the control systems. 

"Prince Ailwin! You should watch you words…!" Pharom's voice came out from the monitor.

Once more, Braeden was behind Mika's chair as soon as he heard Commander Wynfina's voice.

"Is this the same conversation happening at on the navigation deck?"

"En." 

Braeden's attention was on the conversation going between the two commanders as Mika continued typing away.

"Lord Pharom, why should I be careful of my words? Are you admitting to breaking the law?Threatening me and my men, by occupying the skies above my home without my permission…" Ailwin countered, unwilling to back down from the arrogant man in front of him.

"Hmph!… You think I care whether I need your permission or not to be here." Pharom's statement blatantly showed that he wasn't here with good intention as he previous stated.

Mika sped her hand speed up as she got the feeling that their enemy was preparing to attack soon.

"Lord Pharom…you should think carefully of what you are about to do…" Ailwin walked closer to the screen so that Commander Wynfina could see the seriousness in his eyes.

"...Prince-No, you won't be a prince for much longer...heh...Ailwin, you should have shown me the respect that you show your father and then maybe I could have spoken up on your behalf to the King...but now, hahaha you can only blame yourself." The screen on the navigation deck went black as the connection was cut, leaving everyone on deck panicking to get the defenses up.

"SH*T!" Braeden shouted out right beside Mika's ears, making them ring. She wanted to shout herself at him, but she was close to breaking their code and she didn't want to waste time on the idiot.

Braeden ran to the door, knowing that Ailwin and the captains were going to need his help.

When he was about to leave, he turned around. Looking at Mika, he said, "If you are going to do something, do it now…" before leaving the room.

Mika rolled her eyes, m.o.f.o, what do you think I'm trying to do!? Like I want to die a virgin...again!

Taking a peek at the surveillance cameras on the wars.h.i.+p, it showed Commander Pharom giving out orders to ready the weapons.

Needing one last number sequence, Mika rushed through it trying to beat the warm-up time on the weapons.

Ailwin ordered all his carriers to move back hundred meters. Hoping this will put them out of range of the wars.h.i.+ps' weapons.

Braeden arrived on deck and didn't waste anytime tell the soldiers to raise all s.h.i.+eld to maximum level.

Ailwin looked at Braeden, "Where is she?"

"She's trying something...I hope it works." That's all he said as he rushed off to help the soldiers operating the weapons on their carriers.

Ailwin hope so too, because if it didn't they can forget about them rebelling against the King, they wouldn't even be able to make it through the hour.

Mika was waiting for one more number when she saw that Commander Wynfina was ordering his men to fire their weapons.

Opening the comms to the whole carrier she shouted out "INCOMING!".

Two minutes later, all three of Ailwin's air carriers were hit. Moving back a hundred meters and raising the s.h.i.+elds to maximum levels had helped some, however, that one hit from the wars.h.i.+ps dropped the s.h.i.+elds to fifty percent. At most, they could take another hit before they would be defenseless.

Pharom didn't like that he couldn't finish Prince Ailwin's air carriers off with one hit. Seeing them still flying in the air was a stain to his eyes.

"Raise the power to seventy-five percent and give chase…!"

Hearing Commander Wynfina's words on the monitor, Mika knew they wouldn't be able to defend against the next strike.

Praying for her program to work faster, she opened up the comms again to report that the Wars.h.i.+p's weapon are now at seventy-five percent.

On the navigate deck, Ailwin didn't question Mika's information, he just immediately said to all his air carriers, "Evasive maneuvering, now!"

The three aircrafts quickly following his orders and went in three different directions.

"INCOMING!" Mika voice shouted out over the comms again.

This time everyone knew that the strike was going to do some damage, possibly leave them unable to retaliate.

Even with them using all their weapons against the wars.h.i.+ps, they still weren't a match.

Commander Wynfina, fired on one of the carriers that was getting too far from his grasp. 

When the strike hit it blew apart the engines of the carrier, causing it to fall from the sky and crash landed into the ground.

Pharom's laughter filled Ailwin's office as Mika watched him lock on to another carrier.
