"Fire when ready!" Pharom's voice said to his soldiers as they locked on to the next air carrier.

Hearing the order coming from the wars.h.i.+ps, it got on Mika's nerves. How she wishes she could send her nanos onto their s.h.i.+ps to do the job, it would have been easier and much faster. Unfortunately, she had to wait for her program to finish running.

*Ding!* *Ding!**Ding!* 

The flash of green color coming from the monitor screen made her day as the last number in the sequence was found and the control system is now in her hands. 

Cracking her knuckles, Mika worked quickly to stop the wars.h.i.+ps from firing at their next targets.

She needed to first stop the next attack Commander Wynfina was sending their way then change the codes to lock them out of their own systems. 

"Come on, Mikaela...you can do it!" She spoke to herself, rus.h.i.+ng to find to stop the attack.

"Sir, someone is in our systems!" A soldier from the wars.h.i.+p call out to Commander Wynfina, causing Mika to curse when she heard it on the office monitor.

F**k!…

She knew she was being sloppy with her work, but she had to in-order to stop the attack. She was just hoping that they didn't have excellent technicans soldiers aboard their aircrafts.

Regrettably, she underestimated the royal guards abilities. 

Aware that they were now on her tails, Mika stop thinking about concealing herself and just focus on taking over the system.

Pharom didn't think that anyone would be able to cyb into the wars.h.i.+ps' systems. 

"What are they trying to do?" He asked.

"They are trying to lock us out of our own systems, sir!" His second-in-command reported.

"Lock us out-" Pharom looked at the two air carriers on screen.

It must be someone on those aircrafts…!

"Can we still use our weapons?"

"For the time being, sir."

"Good...lock on to the those two carriers and shoot them down now!" Pharom ordered.

"...but, sir...the systems-"

"Forget about the system for now….shoot those two carriers down!" Hearing their Commander's instructions, the soldier stop trying to impede Mika's work and began locking on to the air carriers immediately.

Sh*t!

She had hoped that Commander Wynfina would panic in the face of losing control over his s.h.i.+ps and forget about attacking them, but it did the exact opposite.

"Sir, we are locked on!" The many hands aboard the wars.h.i.+ps were worked faster than Mika's two, she couldn't keep up.

"Ready on my command!"

"Yes, sir!" The shouts of soldiers sprang out through the monitor, adding to Mika's anxiety.

Come on...almost there…!

Mika has been working relentlessly, her fingers and palms were starting to cramp up on her. Sweat was getting into her eyes and her heart was pounding.

"Targets are in range...sir."

"Fire!" Pharom shouted as he smiled at the screen when two missiles flew towards the two air carriers.

Ailwin...you are too late.

The alarms rang as the warning system alerted everyone on Ailwin's carrier that they have been locked on by the wars.h.i.+ps.

Ailwin and Braeden had no more ideas to get them out of this situation other than accelerating their speed and using the surrounding area to get the missiles off of them.

Weaving and swerving, the two carriers looked as if they were dancing in the sky, but really the pilots were flying for their lives and everyone aboard the s.h.i.+ps.

However, no matter how fast they sped up, the missiles kept up with them.

 Everyone knew eventually the pilots would be unable to take the stress and falter.

"Ailwin…?" Mika's voice came over the comms.

"Mika?...What's wrong?" It's been awhile since he heard her voice. He didn't know what she was doing, but he was glad that she was all right.

"I want you to tell the pilot to stop."

Mikaela was still on speaker, so every person on the navigation deck heard her.

"Mika we can't stop right now, we have missiles on out backs…!"

"I know…"

"...if we stop then-"

"Do you trust me?"

"….Yes."

"Then stop."

As their conversation wasn't private, the captains and some of the soldiers on deck thought the young girl was fooling around. One of the captains saw that Ailwin was contemplating her suggestion.

"Sir, if we stop, we are dead…!" 

Ailwin looked around the deck at all the anxious and scared faces of his soldiers, "Mikaela…"

"Trust me."

Ailwin closed his eyes for a few seconds than opened them and walked to his pilot.

"Stop-"

"Sir!" Ailwin held up his hand to stop the captain from saying anything words of protest.

When the pilot saw that Ailwin really wanted him to stop he looked towards the other people around him seeking answers on what he should do.

"Soldier! Did you not hear what I said?" Ailwin placed his hand on the man's shoulder, enforcing his will.

"Y-Yes, s-sir…!" Bring the speed down until the carrier came to a full stop, everyone on deck couldn't believe that their Commander would put all their lives in the hands of a young girl.

On screen as they hovered in the air, they watched as the missile rapidly gained on them.

With every second that ticked by Ailwin's grip on the soldier's shoulder got tighter and tighter. The man wanted to cry out but his mind and eyes were glue to the screen like everyone else's.

When the missile was fifteen meters away, many of the people on deck closed their eyes or hung their heads while grabbing the person beside them hands as they waited for their deaths.

Ailwin didn't closed his eyes nor look down. He put everyone's lives in Mikaela's hands, he made the choice and he wants to see the conclusion firsthand.

On the wars.h.i.+p, Pharom watched as Prince Ailwin's air carriers tried to out run the missiles miserably.

No matter how hard you tried, you won't be able to get away.

"Prince Ailwin, the King bids you farewell…" Pharom softly said to the air carriers on screen.cyb = hack
