Honey : The Empire's Treasure 63 Luggage

Upon arriving at the Udava clan household, Lord Tasar led Mika and her party into the meeting hall.

Having sent Elmer head to notify the family of their arrival, everyone was already gathered inside waiting.

"Everyone this is Miss Mikaela Amara, her personal servant Saavi and guard Kaze. They will be our guests for an extended period of time, while Miss Mikaela is here please treat her as if she is part of our family."

Inducing his family one by one Mika found Lord Tasar has four wives and five children. Four boys and one girl. Elmer the eldest, she was familiar with from her travels, the other three were of similar ages to Sienna and Kamryn.

Feeling a penetrating glare, Mika turned her head to come eye to eye with Lord Tasar only daughter Miss Lixiss. Not knowing the reason for the glare, honestly not caring, Mika chose to ignore her altogether.

After the introductions were made, Lord Tasar told his steward to show Mika around the estate before going to her living quarters.

Walking around the estate, Mika felt a little overwhelmed the Udava's household was much bigger than her Amara clan they kept their tree farms together with residence. Plus the Udava living quarters were short in height and every structure was dome shape, Mika was very fascinated by the architecture.

Reaching the end of his tour the steward showed Mika her living s.p.a.ce during her stay. It reminded her of a big version of her old apartment except for the high ceilings.

"Miss Mikaela, as you can see the house contains everything you will need for your stay here. The Udava clan estate is very large and with the reasons you have come here Lord Tasar thought it would be best to keep your inconveniences down to a minimum. Is everything to your liking?"

The steward questioned seeing Mika walking around in silence. He knew this miss was not your average person, Lord Tasar stressed the importance of caring for her needs.

"Yes, everything is fine. Can I trouble you to lend some men in helping my guard with our luggage? It would take multiple trips if he does it by himself." Mika gave the gentlest smile she could manage with exhaustion beating at her body.

Kaze gave a sharp stare Mika's way, When did it become the guard's duty to be a luggage boy.

"Of course Miss Mikaela I will see to it properly."

The steward and Kaze went to get their luggage, Saavi and Mika were left to familiarize themselves with the layout of the living s.p.a.ce. Inspecting here and there of every room, Saavi made adjustments where she saw fit.

Before leaving the Amara clan, Lady Lyra personally made her memorize the treatment plan young miss was going to take. The first time she heard the details of the painful procedure, Saavi was terrified out of her mind. For young miss to go thru such a treatment Saavi decided to make it her mission to be young miss' caretaker in Lady Lyra's place.

Entering into what would be young miss's room Saavi saw Mika sitting at the vanity.

"Young miss, is everything alright? Is the bed not comfortable?" Running over to the mattress Saavi tested the bounce and fluffed the pillows.

Mika watched Saavi's attentiveness smiling at her mother hen tendencies.

"Saavi it seems Lord Tasar already has some misconceptions about me. What should I do to fix them?" Mika had thought long and hard about the talk she had with Lord Tasar around the campfire.

She has never met Lord Tasar before, he didn't know about her unorthodox ways. Why did it seem like he already knew she was up to no good?

"Young miss...?" Saavi couldn't comprehend what Mika was talking about, Lord Tasar has treated them pleasantly since the time they left.

"Its nothing, let's just observe for now."

No sooner had the words left her mouth, Mika and Saavi heard a voice coming from outside.

"How much stuff does this girl need!? What is with all this luggage, is she going to live with us forever!?"

With each question, the voice outside became louder and louder until Mika and Saavi could hear it clearly from Mika's bedroom.

"Young miss." A teenage maidservant about Saavi age tries to quiet down a young miss standing in front of Mika's doors blocking the servants from bringing the luggage in.

Kaze was last to follow as he was carrying Mika special items from the shuttle; he didn't see nor hear any of the ruckuses ahead of him until the last moment.

It wasn't until he was standing right in front of a young miss nearly knocking her down with his body that he saw something wrong.

"Who is this male? Does he not know who he is b.u.mping into?"

A girl with sun-kissed complexion and soft features with braids running throughout her hair stood blocking Kaze's way.

Heavy items in Kaze's hands couldn't be held any longer he had to put them down. Standing in front of him was the young miss of the Udava clan, Kaze had no idea how to handle this situation.

Not wanting to leave young miss Mikaela items left outside unattended as he ran inside for help. Kaze was happy when he saw Mika already stepping outside with Saavi.

"What seems the be the problem?" Mika bought forth her subdue and obedient persona her mother had taught to her.

Tired from all the travel and now having to lug the bags in, Kaze had no patience for this situation and blurted out the problem directly.

"The young miss of the Udava clan is being a hindrance by not moving so the luggage can be bought in."

Mika took a quick glance in Kaze direction, she knew hindrance wasn't the word he wanted to use. She guesses this is him being polite.
