“It’s the Captain!” Black Panther called out into the group channel. His intent was clear.

“The Heavy Armor Warrior is also an Elite,” Feng Luo replied. “I’m guessing it won’t be easy to break through his s.h.i.+eld!”

“I have a grade-C energy armor-piercing round,” Black Panther muttered. “It’ll break down any armor grade-C or below by 100 percent. Even if his s.h.i.+eld is extra thick, two or three more bullets will do the job!”

Feng Luo was speechless. He had to admit, you really could do whatever you wanted if you were rich.

As an Expert in ammunition, he naturally knew about the energy armor-piercing rounds. Besides having extremely high damage, this type of ammunition also increased attack by 20 percent with the addition of 100 points of non-attribute energy damage. It was safe to say that this bullet was one of the best among grade-C ammunition.

“All right!” Feng Luo agreed. It wasn’t his bullet or money, anyway.

“I’ll attack, then!” Black Panther said as he pulled the trigger which was aimed towards Scarface’s s.h.i.+eld.

Feng Luo watched it all happen through his scope. A blue light flashed, and a dent the size of a washbasin appeared on the black alloy s.h.i.+eld that covering their guns, and it quivered heavily from the impact.

Due to the impact force caused by the bullet against the s.h.i.+eld, a damage value of more than 400 appeared above Scarface’s head. (Note: s.h.i.+elds didn’t completely block all damage. They just greatly reduced damage!)

Before Scarface could even react, Black Panther had fired another shot within milliseconds. Clearly, he had activated “Rapid Shooting” mode, allowing the sniper rifle to attack at a much faster rate.

The second bullet struck the left side of the s.h.i.+eld, slightly off from the first one, but it still had the same effect. The two bullets had managed to deform a s.h.i.+eld that otherwise seemed to be indestructible.

A flash of blue light. Black Panther fired a third bullet right into the center of the s.h.i.+eld. This time, it made a fist-sized hole in the dented s.h.i.+eld. The bullet pierced right through the s.h.i.+eld and sheared off more than 1,000 HP from the pirates’ third in command.

Feng Luo also started to shoot. The situation required him to activate Rapid Shooting mode as well. The M110 repeatedly fired armor-piercing rounds within milliseconds.

The alloy s.h.i.+eld, which had been heavily damaged by the energy armor-piercing rounds, had a much lower defense now. Feng Luo’s bullet managed to pierce through it, causing another set of damage to Scarface.

With Black Panther and Feng Luo both having activated Rapid Shooting mode, in addition to the usage of special bullets, even a Level-45 Elite Heavy Armor Warrior like Scarface couldn’t take it any longer. Immediately, he raised his s.h.i.+eld to cover the Captain and retreated to the back of the s.h.i.+p. But under Feng Luo’s and Black Panther’s speedy attacks, the Heavy Armor Warrior with more than 9,000 HP could only hold on for at most five or six more seconds.

Five or six seconds was enough for him to reach the door of the cabin. Black Panther fired another energy armor-piercing round to knock off all Scarface’s remaining HP.

The system notification only displayed rewards to experience points. It made no mention of credits or medal points. Obviously, that was because Black Panther had been the last one to shoot Scarface. The system had decided that he would be the one to complete the bounty mission.

However, although Scarface the Heavy Armor Warrior had fallen, the Captain, One-Eyed Dragon, was only a few steps from the cabin. This short distance would only allow for one shot per person.

A single shot per person to take down a Captain with about 5,000 HP—the chances of success obviously weren’t high.

We’re bound to make mistakes! Feng Luo sighed in his heart.

Earlier, the two of them had both missed a shot, which had bought Scarface a second. And now, they were only left with a chance for two shots. The Captain was in an electrocuted state. He couldn’t move, as his body was numbed in convulsions. The consequence of this situation was undoubtedly a lethal one!

However, the pirate s.h.i.+p and the ferry s.h.i.+p were now only about 600 meters apart, which meant they had entered the shooting range of the electromagnetic railgun.

All the members of the pirate crew that had been hiding before were now ready for action. They peeked out from every corner. In fact, one had already climbed quietly onto the 40mm three-barreled autocannon.
