The reason why Lisa is suffering constipation is because of the difference in food after coming to China. Hence, by performing acupuncture on the two Tianshu Acupoints, she can recover her stomach functions swiftly and get used to this new environment.

Then again, she can also recover by herself even if Su Tao did not perform any acupuncture on her. It will basically take two months for her to recover, but using acupuncture can resolve it much faster.
