With a smack, Mother Zheng threw her chopsticks on the table and stared at Zheng Ziming. “What do you mean you don’t want to get married? It is not a matter of ‘want’! Have you forgotten how old you are?!”

“Mom, I’m only 27. I’m still young!” said Zheng Ziming grumpily.

“Mom, this has nothing to do with Asteria!” said Zheng Ziming in a grim tone. “And please don’t talk about her like that. I don’t like it.”

“Fine, fine. You’re talking back to your mother for her now!” Mother Zheng was s.h.i.+vering with anger. She then turned to Mr. Zheng. “It’s all your fault. You sold our son for your business and now, he doesn’t care about us at all!”
