Su Qianxun placed the bowl of noodles on the side table as she was speaking. She held the spoon with one hand and the chopsticks with another hand. She put some noodles onto the spoon to feed Jiye.

“Be good, open your mouth.” Su Qianxun brought the spoon nearer to the side of his lips.

Su Jiye finally averted his gaze from the window. After a long moment, he opened his mouth obediently and started eating the noodles.

Su Qianxun saw that he was willing to eat now and smiled out of joy. Just when she was thinking of picking up another bunch of noodles with the spoon, Su Jiye suddenly grabbed her arm, seemingly agitated. His gaze was locked on the gauze on the back of her hand.

“I was careless and hurt myself. It is nothing, it is not painful anymore,” Su Qianxun quickly explained.
